As Barrows and GWD gear now have the same def, I wouldn't worry about that, only for an Armadyl item. You will want a shield though, preferably Eeks (as you cannot afford an Ely). If you are (or close to) 99 Def, you can take a 2h Crossbow switch for thresholds. As for Bolts, Royal Bolts are the best. Ultimates are really useless at Arma, when Rapid Fire, Bombardment and Snap Shot are so much better. You will need a small amount of food, topped up by Manta Ray/Potato drops from Kree and minions. Pray Anguish (Ranged version of Turmoil) and Soul Split for the duration of kills. Can heal post kill using up any remaining Adrenaline with the use of Regenerate (found in the Heart section of Ability tab). Alternatively, you can spam defensive abilities post kill in order to keep up adren, so as to unleash thresholds right from the start of every kill. I would set up my Action Bar like so, with my inventory open should I need to eat. In addition, you can now use a Cannon at GWD to great effect, especially useful at Arma Solo. Place it in a corner, personally I use the South West Corner, and stack the monsters atop one another for Bombardment. If duo, set up cannons across the center of Kree's spawn so as to maximise the dps. This also aids in dragging the minions towards the centre for maximum damage for a Bombardment attack. Hope it goes well :)

I think I got mine a little bit earlier, just over 250. Got second 3 kills later, then third 4 kills later. Duplicate Vanguard and Trickster game b2b 2 kills later, but after another 15 I still had no Battlemage place holder, so [bleep] that. Not like I'm gunna lose any in unsafe minigames. I'd really put the figure at midway between 250-300 tbh, anyone getting it at 200 is unbelievably lucky, lying or had lost count. I personally stopped counting properly at 110, but by working out how many wins I was getting/h, I knew roughly how many I was on. Updated QBD Log: [hide] 1. Started to set myself some 2013 goals: Primarily, 99 Summoning - for obvious reasons. Will be doing a 100 QBD drop log sheet, just for fun purposes. 99 Crafting - something I've always wanted 99 Firemaking - probably attained through bonfire boosting for bosses/effigies/circus/Char 99 Slayer - bit of a curve ball goal, not sure whether or not I will *go* for it, but I imagine that with casual slaying I could get it easily Finish all Task Diary Thingies - (Name has changed so much, who knows what to call them) Good goal to set myself, as I'm not miles off it anyway + there's a new diary in January :) Then something ambitious: 90 Base. It is wholly doable, but whether or not I will *want* to get it will impact upon its success rate: considering I have things like 80 Hunter and Construction to deal with, I'm heavily put off training such shit skills. It would also put me near maxing, something I'd rather not do. Anyway, heres my first few QBD kills. Will be reusing the Rocktail drops and keeping Bolts (as I cbf to go and add up all the bolt drop #'s, as I had some banked previously), and won't be posting pictures of every unique drop, in the hope that I will get too many..... Analysis of the picture shows that 465 XP is rewarded in your chosen combat exp (Didn't think to screen that, sorry!)

Not overly enjoyed the quests this year. They've been rather lacklustre in places. Admittedly they are getting a lot better. Ports is obviously a huge highlight of the year. EoC was a complete no-no for me at first, but I've really enjoyed it, after having it forced upon me. Was one of those people who was going to quit in protest, but I actually came around. Made a lot of progress this year, eight 99's and probably >100m xp. Been a fairly good year really, but the highlight has to be Ports. [hide=] The sense of mad in this comment is hilariously ironic. After the shocking revelations of yesterday, in which I broke my 70+ dry streak at QBD (No drop ever), I managed to get a Royal Bolt Stabiliser. Qbd'ing now, just got this. Melee Qbd is actually quite fun. Was gunna go Arma for a bit, but got work too soon to fit in a decent length trip. EDIT: Lol QBD <3
