  1. You would have to be pretty stupid to fall for these.
  2. Barrows is definitely NOT booring.
  3. At 709 each, that's 17575 per inventory factoring the cost of a tab, with a tele tab and pouch (you need that druidic pouch for this, right? That quest was a long time ago) taking 2 inventory spaces. Depending how long the run from Canifis to a good blooming spot is, it sounds like decent money. Edit: If you use a bull ant, you'd have a profit of 23611 per inv, and thats assuming you use 1 pouch per run, which doesn't seem likely.
  4. How can anyone be stupid enough to give away their password? As stated 100 times over, a Mod well never ask you for your account information. Anyway, he's obviously changed your password, so you can't log on; if you were banned, it'd say so, not just "incorrect password." Click on "recover a lost/stolen account" or whatever it says on runescape's site, and do what it says. Since you've apparently set recoveries, it shouldn't be a problem to get it back. You said he had a yellow crown beside his name; this is a lie. If you want help, don't bend the truth to make yourself feel better.
  5. 1) Some words, like [wagon] and gay, are not offensive if used properly; that is, their uncorrupted usage, like "stubborn as an [wagon]." Not common, but still a valid argument. 2) Other censored words were just ridiculous; my school, phone. 3) Assuming you are over 13, and you do not live in an isolated box, you probably hear these words regularly at school or other public places. 4) If you are honestly care by what some idiot over the internet thinks about you, you shouldn't be online, period. 5) Keeping point 4 in mind, these words simply aren't offensive. If someone called me an [wagon] faced crap bag, I would laugh at them. If someone is spewing that kind of text, they're obviously not worth listening to... 6) Ignore list, or if you care THAT much: 7) Turn public to friends. You have no argument.
  6. He is wondering if there is a thread for "meme pics" like fake inperational posters, 'ur doing it wrong' "you got owned/you fail" ect. No, there is not, the Galllery is for art, not idiocy. Use the search feature in the future, it'll save you time and mean less spam. Lastly, this is RUNESCAPE help and advice, there are other topics for TIF related questions.
  7. The quest is not stupid because you got killed while doing it. You are stupid for getting killed while doing the quest.
  8. Do you remember a time, years ago When all we had was a mage short bow Arrows to rune And a pointy green hat A big shiny cannon That made enemies splat When we used our range And didn't want to move We had to telegrab with mage Which was too costly for a newb We had no fancy devices Only jet-black vambraces So next time you fire And see your bolt on the floor Don't cry and despare You can always buy more
  9. I bought full guthan's for 6.1m I bought an amulet of fury for 3m. I bought the unholy book page set for over 5m. I bought a regen brace for 1.2m. I bought a berserker ring for 2.5m. I bought an archers ring for 1.3m. All of these items have fallen. I've "lost" millions in my bank worth. But I don't care. I bought them to USE them, not to resell. I happily payed those prices for those items, because they are worth that much to me.
  10. No one with half a brain would tell you exactly what they alch, but think about: - Mass produced items made for xp with more supply than demand (various dhide items, smithed metal) - Higher leveled metal items that not many people use (warhammers ect) - Seldom used, difficult to obtain items (select barrows items) keep in mind these won't buy quickly Just browse tip.it's item database and do some math; only 50 loss per is alot to ask for though.
  11. accumulator, rune c'bow, unholy book, verac's helm+skirt, armadyl chestplate/black d'hide body, ranger/snakeskin boots is way better that your set up. And don't bother bringing guthan's, it's garbage in there.
  12. Since you're crafting and maging, you may as well make d'hide bodies (green is probably the best xp/gp) then alch them untill you're 90 crafting. But I doubt your remaining money would cover the rest of those magic levels if you just buy+alch.
  13. Only way I can think of is playing fist of guthix.
  14. No, because I'm not stupid enough to get myself killed when wearing expencive items.
  15. Bgs is what, 19m? 95 mage > spec/boss weapon. Those mage levels have far more appliations then a sword.
  16. Just get members now. Everything is better in members. Access to better equipment = faster xp, better drops (herbs, herb seeds, half keys, higher level runes, clue scrolls, ect), charms... $5 a month (or whatever it is now) is nothing considering the time training in members saves you. It's also much more fun
  17. I can't think of a good place to alch. Option's I've considered: PVP: Even in obscure hotspot areas, I got attacked. Runite rocks: Not even close to mining them. Gem stalls: Also no good, 54 theiving. Party room: No. Farming herbs: 1 farming. Also, no. Ardougne nature chest: Respawns too quickly (4-5 alchs) and slows down xp/hr The only place I can think of are silver stalls, which aren't that good. What is the best item respawn (law rune?)? Is there any practical, slow-spawing monster I should be aware of?
  18. Flat render slapped on with low opacy  Small well-blended sprite
  19. I wear: Slayer Helm Fury Trimmed Skill Cape (Fire is better and easier to acheive, I'm just lazy) Whip Guthans Body Rune Defender Guthans Skirt Barrows Gloves Dragon Boots Warrior Ring Which is pretty effective. The Warrior Ring increases the accuracy of slash attacks making it better than the Berserker for use with a whip and at a fraction of the price. Dragon Boots are a must. Barrows gloves you can use rune gloves or the regen bracelet. Guthans offers great defense, not the best but the difference between the best is negligible, plus you then save inventory spaces when using full Guthans to heal. Also Barrows armour is cheap, the cost to repair isn't much, for every 11.25 hours of combat it cost me 100k. Thats nothing in the grand scheme of things. Fury can be swapped for a glory but Fury is noticabley different. It isn't like using a Torag plate instead of a Guthans one. +4 strength is better than +4 slash. And Guthan's plate and helm has the same stats as Torags; Guthan's chainskirt is 10 def points lower.
  20. I got 80-89 at monkey gaurds in void with broad bolts and prayer pots and eagle eye. Now I'm getting 89-99 at aviansies (alnmost 94 now). Considering you'll make ~50m it's the 'cheapest' way.
  21. Pray protect mage and range it, and you won't take any damage. The gnomes form a 'wall' so it can't walk to get you. If your range is so bad you can't kill it with an inventory of prayer pots then train it up; you'll be training it at some point anyway.
  22. 95 atk str def seems reasonable, and it would be much faster (and easier to kill jad) just to get 80 range.
  23. When well people learn? There is no such thing as a drop rate. There never was. Someone who's killed 1 vs someone who's killed 1000 has no less chance of getting a visage. There is no kill counter that decides "oh, you've killed X ammount, better give you a drop."
  24. Neither of those would effect his combat, other than some hp levels from range, so why not? On topic: Go for granite and prayer.
