  1. I can't really think of anything grey other then iron, or ghostly robes. Maybe full black (t)?
  2. The castle wars swords look almost the same as the bluerite sword, just with a red hilt instead of blue. The second level sword takes much longer to get, but has a light blue hilt, if you want to get that picky. There is no way to reobtain a lost bluerite sword. Since you are becoming a member once you get the cape, you have a large array of options. You said the cape is brown with yellow trim? Splitbark is brown, but it's a bit light. Guilded is yellow and pricey, but it'd look nice with a a trimmed smithing cape, leather boots, leather gloves, and a bronze scimmy. There is a golden helm, but you have to do the between a rock quest to wear it. There isn't much other brown armor other then bronze... there is the fremennik shield and dark brown fremennik shirt, but you have to finish fremennik trials to wear them.
  3. Granite body has a bit better melee defence and 17 better range defence then rune plate. Void has awful defence, it's up to you if the damage bonus is worth it. I think barrows is worth it because of the food you'll save.
  4. In this order: -train combat stats to 60 -prayer to atleast 43 -finish all f2p quests -become a member However, if you are boored after a day of playing, this game might not be for you.
  5. Some of my recomendations: Get some kickass armor, a whip, and go rip castlewars apart. If you can't wield one and you can't afford one, then you have a goal to reach. If castlewars isn't your thing, try doing quests. The 'underground pass' is my favorite, if you like you could go towards that. Also consider desert treasure because ancients is pretty cool. If those quests are out of your league, train! I liked thieving cakes, then using them as food while training slayer. Make sure you make farming pit stops to mix things up, and get some fast cash! You could add me if you like.
  6. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=516151 Try reading, it helps. Unless you need a guide for that too?
  7. Make the best looking outfit you can for each cape, then wear whichever outfit you like best.
  8. 68, 8 and a half rows of 8.
  9. Curse the monk of zammorak under the stairs in varrock castle. While wearing an earth staff, it takes 2 waters and 1 body or 42gp per cast. It gives 29 xp per cast (even if it fails) for an xp/gp ratio of .6904 compared to a ratio of .2226 for earth bolt while wearing an earth staff (based on average of 30.5 xp given per spell). Wearing full metal armor helps the spell fail more often, but that's not a huge concern since zammy monks take less then a second to regain the defence lost. I do 1k casts a day, 500 in the morning 500 in the afternoon. The only downside to this is that you don't get any hp or prayer xp (presuming you burry the bones) like you would for combat spells.
  10. Whoa, 5k tokens is 2m in rune gauntlets. If ask the fog shop guy to wear them all out and then dump them in the GE and you won't have to worry about the cost of an obby sheild. Buy an obby cape and dragon boots while your at it. Get yourself a rune defender when you have the time though.
  11. No. The amount of work you would have to do to be able to wear a dragon sq would be a waist. A rune kite has better melee defence then an obby shield, but the obby does have +5 str bonus. Another option is the rune defender, which has +5 str along with +20 stab, +19 slash, +18 crush, but with less then half of the defence of a rune kite. It's up to you what you would prefer: Lots of defence with a rune kite, a bit less defence and a bit more attack with an obby shield, or bad defence but good attack with a rune defender (keep in mind it takes a bit of work to earn in). Disregard the beserker because it wears out too quickly to be efficient.
  12. I just go run -> dxdiag. You'd have to have a pretty awful computer not to be able to run the new rs. Mine's a 4 year old $600 HP, and has double what it needs.
  13. If you want to come back soley for pking? No. If you want to come back, and experience all of the new mini games, places, quests, and things to kill? Yes.
  14. How does there being a big update soon not make this fit in hidden updates? Small updates that were not announced = hidden.
  15. I haven't noticed any difference. I like randoms, they can give you interesting items to wear, and provide a nice break from an otherwise repetitive task. I wonder if they'll get rid of any of the clothing ones, making randoms 'age symboles' like holiday gives. Although I can't see a runescape without mimes, that one's a classic. Random: I got 3 classroom's in 1 day, and that was my first time every getting any. I have yet to get some since.
  16. Over a year ago, my main [mr_moocky] was perminently muted for autoing. I didn't click the 'log out' button before changing worlds using a program called swift switch [the program was legal at the time]. Apparently, jagex didn't like that. I quit playing for a year, but I couldn't help it, I had to come back. So I made a new account on the 9th of last month. Not even a week into my new account, quick chat comes out. I didn't even bother trying my main. I couldn't stand not being able to say things. I've been going full throttle, and my new account [mrmoocky] is now 75 combat, after a month and 5 days.
  17. Whatever it is, it should be non tradable, and require a risky mini game that excersies alot of different skills. Like mining pasages, crafting keys, burning (firemaking) obstructions, constructing bridges, ect.
  18. I agree with Ultimakomoto, but with all skills' xp maxed out, not just 99.
  19. Firemaking, because I never use it.
  20. Because they are uncreative and can't think of an original name. Also, anyone who has zezima in their name, and is not zezima, should be shot.
  21. Because these wildy riots are a complete waist of time, and therefore anyone who participates is wasting there own time, which is a pretty stupid thing to do. [/topic]
  22. For armour, wear full addy with an addy scimitar. I don't believe there are any str boostin gloves available to you at your level, and addy boots aren't worth it. If you can afford an obby cape, buy it. At your level, I was killing cows, because they have low defense and the hides are ~118 each making them the most profitable monster I could kill without food. But I was f2p. Scan the beastilary for a monster 18-22 with decent drops. Once you get 40 stats, wear rune, and try killing hill giants, since they provide good xp and are a good source of either money or prayer.
  23. Don't bother with druidic, it has the same magic attack as combat robes but with no defence and a useless special. Battle robes are p2p only.
