I need something new to do in RuneScape
Train melee, range, mage to atleast 75. Then pick something that interests you and do it, make sure you set a goal. I've decided to get all of the cw, ba (also maxing out ba skills), and fog mini game items. It'll take a while but I'm really enjoying it.

longsword beats scimmy so bad
If small bonuses are so 'not worth it' why do people spend millions on furys to get a few extra bonuses than glory? Or millions on bandos tasset and sacrifice defence (again saying so small it doesnt matter) but want that tiny tiny extra strength? Or those DK rings? Such a big price on a tiny bonus. You people are redundant. 1) Saying the fury and DK rings are a waste is ridiculous. Buying a fury doesn't effect your speed. More bonuses without any drawbacks = good. 2) People use different armor for different situations. People don't wear full kharils to Arma boss even though it would provie better range attack because they need melee defense. But people wear bandos in castlewars because it doesn't matter if they die it doesn't matter and that str bonus helps. Also bandos doesn't degrade.

Runners in Fist of Guthix
Yep. It's called 'fist of guthix' not 'stand in the middle and see who has a higher combat level'. I played it all the time when I was f2p, was flamed pretty much every game I won. I hugged the teleports and rocks, ran, teleported, prayed, hid, even against people with a lower combat (never know who's a pure). The flames just made me laugh and do it again.

sexist runescape!? but...but...but.....how?
I wear my manly dragon skirt with pride. All the best armor are skirts: Armadyl: best range attack bonus (I think?) Bandos: Best (and only) legs with a str bonus Kharils: Best mage def Verac: Equal crush, stab, slash as dharok and torag (best melee def in game) Guthan: Part of the only armor that heals you (I also own full guth) Dragon plateskirt: Cheap, wont degrade, and is lighter then dragon platelegs If anyone makes fun of my d skirt I equip my guthans and point out my fury and berserker ring. They shut up pretty quick. Be a man, wear a skirt. Also, that /thread thing is stupid, especially when you have no idea what you're talking about. Just made yourself look like an [wagon].

Has RuneScape become a grindfest?
Its only grinding if you make it. I do what I feel like. I also enjoy training combat; I find it very relaxing. If I decide to play castle wars every few hours, its not efficient, but I don't care, it's fun.

Highest hit?
Gauntlets don't have a str bonus

Remember When...
When the RSOF was so bad and out of date you couldn't post images or have signatures? And it had painfull navigation and a search engine without a backbutton? And everyone spammed bump? Oh wait...

question about picture (not in graphically updated thread)
Then yes you can use it.

question about picture (not in graphically updated thread)
*struggles through fractured english* Ok, so you're wondering if you want to post this and say you made it? Technically, not unless you asked Jagex, but in all honesty no one cares. It would be obvious it was from a screenshot anyway. So I guess go ahead and err use it? If that's what you're asking?

Impact on Runescape after pvp worlds are released
will all the pkers come back? If someone stops playing how would they know it's back? will the empty f2p worlds come back with full of life? By all the empty f2p world you mean all the worlds with 30 less pkers in them? Then no. will rs be more than just skilling? Jagex took out the wild not the combat skills. rs economy will be fixed or back to normal? Economy is doing fine? Infact I'm finding it easier then ever to make money.

The Price of Range XP...
I camped at ankous from 70-80 with void and broad bolts made 4m+ but I hate spending money on skills... whatever happened to making money with range?
-
Magic Prayers
No. Having a higher magic level decreases the chance of being hit by magic (considering jagex made the game I'd think they'd know). Logically then having a magic level boosting prayer would also increase your magic defense.

Rate my back to f2p-outfit
If your skilling leave the weapon slot open for axe/pickaxe.

72- 80 range p2p
I did 70-80 at ankous, nice stackable drops, short walk to a bank (use edge home tele if you have ancients) if not varrock tab, lvl 3 clues, they have a max hit of 8 so no risk of dieing... very relaxing.

How Do I level Construction Quickly?
Make chairs till 4. Bookcases till you can make a worktable... I think its 15 or 20. Oak chairs till 32 (or 34? whenever you can make an oak worktable). Oak dinning tables till whenever. Carved oak tables will be faster but more expencive (takes 6 oak planks but you only get the xp for 5) I teled to house, built, used operate option on dueling ring to teleport to cwars, banked made furniture, took out oak planks, repeated. Got 1-50 in 1 day cost 1m.

Guthans or Dh?
The purpose of armor is to protect you so you eat less. With guthans, not only do you get excellent defence, it heals you, preventing you from needing food, essentially making you undamagable which is something no other armor can even get close to (I'm talking about training not bosses here). Logically guthan's appears to be the 'best armor' unless you bring up str bonus, its obvious then to only use guthan when you require healing. Dharok is usefull in so few situations where there is easy access to an altar that it's pretty much useless unless you plan on training on apes (I suppose you could do wearwolves if you have an altar and canafis portal in your house). I'm currently camping at ankous with guthans and loving it. If you choose to save for bandos, buy tassets before plate.

Mage Pure Training
Cows hides are over 100 ea, beef is worth something too. Usually takes 2 hits with a bolt spell to kill a cow so you'll regain over half of what you spend. Only other f2p monster I can think of with good drops is ankous, but the safespot is limited and you can't stay there with 1 def. The best place to kill cows if you choose to is north of lumbridge, neer the gnome copters, because its right beside the bank deposit. Not particularily fun to kill though. Another cheap meathod is cursing the zammy monk in varrock but you won't get hp and prayer xp (and is a lot more booring). Also consider fist of guthix.

RS - training skills all day?
You can use private/clan chat wherever you are. No need to actually go where they are. I enjoy PLAYING rs not standing around doing nothing. This is a game, not a chatroom, if you want to ' hang with friends' why not do it in real life? Seems silly.

F2P Range Question
I trained from 50-60 f2p at crandor moss giants. Bring a fallador telly tab, a fire staff and nats for alching, a few bites of food, and your set. It's single combat and usually not crowded and as a ranger you should be able to get the spawns anyway. I'd recommend becoming a mem at 60 range because it's alot faster xp.

What Armour?
If you don't want to use a barrows plate get a fighters torso or buy a granite body (its marginally better then rune plate). Save up and buy guthans for healing.
-
Void and salve (e) stack?
Err... what? I use void+whip+rune defender+salve (e) to train and I use guthans to heal, it only takes a few kills to get back to full health. Anyway, thanks for the help, good to know they stack.
-
Void and salve (e) stack?
I have guthan so damage isn't a problem. I'm using melee and I believe the salve only boosts atk and str (the examine says str and 'accuracy' which I presume is attack).
-
Void and salve (e) stack?
Do the percents stack? Or should I stop using void at ankous?
-
Best way to 50 construction?
At what levels should I make what things?

Don't make me unleash the Noobs...
Some easy ways to make money with no/few skills: - Kill the cows that are north of lumbridge, near the gnome copters. Pick up hides, meat, and bones, and dump into the bank deposite boxes right beside there. Last time I checked its almost 300gp per cow. - Mine pure essence - Pick flax - Spin flax - Mine iron - Dance for money
