Curse
The best place is the zamorak monk in Varrock castle, par none. He can barely move around, and he regains his stats immediately.

is soloing bandos or arma worth it?
In general, 2 people makes killing a boss much more then 2x easier then soloing.

Spending money on mage, range and melee set-ups.
-Buy a regen brace for melee gloves -Buy a fury for a range, melee, and magic amulet -Buy a berserker ring instead of a warrior ring -Buy a god coif (guthix is cheapest) instead of archer helm -Do 'creature from the deap' and buy all 4 zamorak pages for an unholy book for range -Buy an archers ring for a ranging ring -Buy/make your vamps [bleep]ey -Get full void -Get/get the stats for getting a fire cape If you ever want to mage: -Farseer helm -Ahrim's robetop -Ahrim's robsekirt -Seer's ring -Infinity boots -God cape from the mage arena -Mages book -Infinity gloves

Minigames Revisited: Part I: CastleWars
I don't have a problem with how the mage is right now. Freeze, then attack; you shouldn't use any more then 10 spells per game. Using mage outright is very expencive, but is very effective; if someone wants to spend their money, let them. Getting your arrows/bolts back makes sense though. An all element staff is outrageous; ever notice there is no air-fire, air-earth, or air-water staves? Because it would mean you would only need blood for fire wave. The long waiting time between games has always bugged me, why not have the rooms act like the pc boats, and play every X minutes and/or X players.

Special attack button and item slot
I like the special attack short cut, but the 'side weapon' would be like adding an inventory space.

Torso is NOT better then Adamant
See above. I 'maxed out' BA because I enjoy it, and I am collecting combat-oriented minigame items. I have never used it for training. I can not forsee myself filling my bank. How was getting it a waste of time, and why should I drop it?
-
Torso is NOT better then Adamant
If you enjoy playing barbarian assault, then you enjoy the time spend getting a torso, and since having fun is the point of playing runescape, it is not time wasted.
-
Darts.
Aviansies would be your best bet; common training monsters have low def, and the accuracy bonus would be wasted.

Barrows boots[done ty ]
Yes they are.

I wantttt Bandos!!!
Get your magic to 80 (not necissary, but it's good to be effecient) and do barrows. Barrows is actually an INTERESTING way of making money, which makes it far supperior to camping at aviansies or crafting runes. 50 con and dt (for canafis teleport) is a big plus here. Also, your sig is way to big; atleast put your stats in a hide tag, or remove it.

Going for 99 mage?
I'll probably kick myself for saying this, but it's possible to make money when alching in pvp. After an hour (don't log out), ask a friend to come with 75k+ in armour so you can kill him. If you can find a place in a hotspot, great; if not just stand in some rarely visited place. Bring a lumby tele tab and black dhide.

Snakeskin boots match perfectly.

Armadyl!?!
Why would range armour be good for melee? Armadyl is best used where you need magic defense, or used in conjuction with melee armour for tanking. Void is the best range training armour. Also, skills > items; if buying bandos is going to take all your cash, then don't buy it.
-
full melee void
Short answer: No. - Void melee boots strength and attack by 10%. So, the higher your levels, the greater difference; for example at 60 and 60, you'll only be getting a 6 and 6 level bonus. At 99, you'll be getting [almost] 10. - Void provides poor defence (8 all def stats per item, or 32) so you'll take too much damage. - Don't quote me, but I think void and berserker necklace doesn't stack. Yes, you should get it, but not yet; wait until 90+ combat so you can use the 'secret' worlds.

Barrows set up.
Updated. I do plan to use slayer dart, although I took your advice about not overdoing mage. I subbed ahrim's robetop for an armadyl chesplate, but since I still want to keep my magic attack above 0, I'm using a seers ring and infinity boots instead of runners.

Barrows set up.
Updated with a preposed inventory. Yeah I only plan to pray on Dharok and Karil.

Barrows set up.
[hide=Story time]After failing 4 times in the fight caves (due to my own mistakes, not level/item limitations) I was tired of it taking so long to get to Jad, even with black dhide and 80 range. So I decided to get 99 range to make it go faster. Got 80-89 on monkey gaurds with broads, void, and pots, and decided to get 89-99 on Aviansies for some cash and [bad] xp. I'm 93 with like 480k xp till my next level now (over the holidays guthans lasted me 2 days there, usually making over 2m a day) and I've decided once I get 99 range I'll buy atleast 90 mage (75 right now), buy 75 prayer (65 right now), spend 20-30m on items, and spend the rest of my Aviansie cash on summoning, since I'm still level 1. And then barrow. A lot.[/hide] This is the set up I plan to use: Maging everyone but ahrim, range him. I'm wondering if I should bring an armadyl plateskirt for ahrims, or just stick with vera'cs skirt? My mage def is just a bit over 100, and I'll have 82 def and 90+ magic. Comparing armadyl to verac's skirt: 27 range attack, 40 magic def, and an inventory space. Is it worth the inventory space? Also, I plan to use broad bolts, should I use better ones? When I do this, I'll have 90+ hp, 90+ mage, 99 range, 75 prayer, and 81 defence. SPECIAL WEAPON: The only godsword I would be willing to buy is bandos, which costs 18.8m, putting my 20m item budget at over 30. Being able to reduce a brother's stats would be nice, but considering I'm only 81 atk and str, not too effective. Another (much cheaper) alternitive is the ancient mace, which restores prayer points for what you hit. Lastly, there is the old standard, the dragon dagger. I would probably be speccing karil. I'm leaning towards the dagger. RING: Seers has a nice +2 magic attack and defence. I'll probably be using a ring of life for the first trip or 2, just to get used to it. Is an explorer's ring a better choice, it has 1 prayer and 1 magic attack bonus? Keep in mind I plan to only pray on 2-3 brothers. ORDER: My plan is to kill them in this order: Karil(pray), Dharok (pray), Ahrim(use remainder), Torag, Verac, Guthan. Good/bad? INVENTORY: Haven't thought this out exactly yet. I was thinking ?Armadyl skirt?, dds, house tele tab, ?purple sweets?, Super restore, spade, then X prayer potions and Y food. Should I use tuna potatos or sharks? Are the sweets necissary? Should I bring a whip for getting my killcount up, or just use the dagger? TRANSPORTATION: I have a house with an altar and a canifis teleport. Should I just use it, refuel at the bank, then run to the boat and take it? Which quest, and how far do I need to get in it to use the boat?

Firemaking, not a newb 99
Firemaking is a near useless skill; the addition of the adze was the first usefull update since... well, at least since rs2. It is cheap, easy (meaning there are few 'changing variables' compared to, say, combat stats) and booring to get. When I see someone with a firemaking cape I see someone who blew a few mill and took weeks of playing time to get a cape with the same stats (and in my opinion, inferior looks) as obby. Why would I respect that? I'd rather just dump 3m in the party room, since it would at least get some use.

Has Jagex Really Done All They Could?
I don't understand why Jagex doesn't have some rwt sites taken down.
-
What you want your Rs Character to achieve in the next year!
89-99 range on aviansies (almost 93 right now) 75 prayer 90 mage via alching Use up current 6k charms Burst lobs for more charms 67 summoning - 99 atk, str, def via controlled whip - Make more money for some of the best gear Play lots of castlewars

When did it happen?
Three things made this happen. One, the grand exchange was added, which let prices react more to demand. The removal of bots reduced the supply of raw materials. Lastly, skillcapes were introduced, which made a great increase of people wanting 99s. Runescape has become much more combat based, with skilling more of a chore/money sink.

Underrated Items
No.
-
Nechryael, Guthans, Forge Rengent, and Range
Considering 99 range is over 13m xp, 300k xp is pretty late to be asking for advice... Anyway, use void on ape atoll monkey gaurds with a rune c'bow and broads. Or use knives. Repot at 98.

Junk trades
Wait, what? You're offering junk for an item? That means that you want someone to sell you an item for under GE price? Good luck. Now you're just confusing me. First you were offering cash+junk, then cash, then cash+items (are these items junk?)? What? Yes, you could either buy items for minimum in the GE (and pray that the item's price doesn't fall) or buy junk in-trade for less than the ge's price, but due to the trade cap you won't be able to buy much at a time.
