Dungeoneering Again
I'll be starting this at 10:00, possibly 10:30. Retech, there really is no need to PM me asking that, since you can just post on the thread.

Sounds risky. We should work on our existing warship stocks before doing that sort of thing, though I'm not ruling it out in the future. Another thing is that Russian ships are apparently lower quality compared to other nations.

I think we'll stick to the mining ships we already have, Chi. 180kT for a decent resource rate. Unless that ship can get over 5kT a minute, it just can't compare.

I'm fine with whatever, archi. No more worrying about being tired because I don't have to get up in the mornings.

The Back Room
(You now realise you just called me Jeremiah) Anyway, Nex, what I thought of as soon as you said that... (Warning, may be offensive to some) http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/katanas-are-underpowered-in-d20 In actual fact, while the act of forging the swords themselves may have been honed to an art due to the poor quality of japanese iron ore (They had to use it very efficiently), the swords themselves are not better than a well crafted medieval European sword. You get these people saying that it's possible to cut through a knight in full medieval armour with a katana, but it's a complete myth. The whole "Katanas are just better" came from anime and video games from Japan, I would imagine, where the tradition was placed into these mediums, bought to the western world, and then massively exaggerated to form the current belief that a katana could bisect two cars, five horses, a million brick walls and kill several superheroes before even taking a dent. Yes, they may be elegent, and I can respect that, but I'd prefer a fencing foil in terms of elegency anyway. To each their own, I suppose, though.

I'd much prefer a traditional Claymore any day of the week. Or a gladius. Actually, scratch that. Falchion. Yeah, never really saw the big deal about Japanese weaponry. That's a lie, I used to be obsessed with it, then I stepped back for a few weeks and wondered why I thought it was so cool. Never did find the answer to that, but I think it was probably because I used to be one of those people who thought that the japanese had perfect culture and tradition and nothing could beat them.

Sorry about the session being cut short... We had to turn the electric off so that a pipe could be fixed safely, which proved to take longer than one would expect... I tried using my neighbors internet by the connection isn't strong enough.

Channel is up, #Dungeons8 Mather, IIRC you didn't do much at all after that. You told them about the baerl but didn't do anything else.

So, Extreme LARP?

You just put copy and replica as two different categories when they both basically mean the same thing. Something can be artifical and digital at the same time... Like an AI. The hint is in the name.

Do the Swiss really give you that much funding? Maybe I should ask the British about funding, too. We need some money to hire people.

Are you using the biome mod? You really should. 200 chunk large deserts are awesome to build stuff on.

Seeing as how I am now not as suited for ship to ship combat, I'd like to give position of chief tactical officer to Faust, since with level 5 in that aspect it would be silly not to. While I still don't entirely trust you from the whole "I took over the AI" thing, I think you've shown enough loyalty to gain my respect. Fishman's Chi's quarters will be flooded with water and two airlocks will be installed to make things more comfortable I do believe it is time to get our priorities straight, gentlemen. We need warships, and we need troops. Up until now, we have been able to get the job done more or less safely with just us, but now, with possible enemies on every single front, we will need to bolster our defenses and increase our ability to fight.

Minecraft, Sins of a Solar Empire... Yes, Mass Effect 1 and 2 were both great, so I would heartily recommend them... And Skyrim. Save money for Skyrim so you can buy 11 copies on launch day.

Plot isn't too difficult to work out when you get right down to it. Without provoking too many spoilers, everyone dies heroically, the end. Althought it was a very fun game in the breif moments I had access to it.

Ah, okay then. 7 isn't as bad as I originally judged it to be, but it seems less stable than Vista... Somehow. As a random note, I love playing Necromancer in GW. Death nova and Soul Reaping especially. My minions just become walking, fighting batteries which explode upon death, damaging the enemy and recharging my energy so that I can summon even more minions from the corpses of the enemies which just got blown up. It is glorious.
