  1. Shortsword, dagger, whatever. I meant dagger.
  2. Ares Biahorae, human, age 25-30 years, true age unknown. 6 feet in height, and weighing 120lbs. Recognized by a long cresent scar down the left of his face (Hurrah for cliches) and his crimson eyes. Uses a shortsword with an ornate, dragon-shaped hilt and a curved blade, with a serrated edge.
  3. Oooh, that's pretty good. The small ones are only used for defense, so that's all fine. Altough I guess I should probably work on improving my armour. Ah, theres something I can do later though.
  4. I'm going to give you research time and the amount of money put into it, since I don't like taking stabs at things. My Arc lasers (Note the lack of capital letters :!: ) have been in research for roughly 110 years or so now I think, and have had about 500 trillion put into the research of them. My ships have 4 meter thick strange tantalum armour.
  5. If you've quit, stop posting. That's basically what makes it quitting.
  6. Because now that the thread is locked people are going to stop playing so we can sort it out. Thus, we have stopped digging.
  7. I think it's necessary. The more we argue about it and continue playing at the same time, the bigger hole we have to climb out of when we finish digging. The thing about having a standardised system means that players will be equal and it will be roughly balanced. WIthout a standardised system, once player culd create 10,000 battleships and think that it isn't that much, wheras another player could think that is way too much in too little time. We either get more creativity and less balancing, or less creativity and more balancing. Thats just the way things work. I'd love to say I have a solution, but I do not. If anybody else does, applause are in order.
  8. I have advanced point defense lasers now, as well. I may make a new defensive ship to make use of it.
  9. You say your system is underpowered, yet you have more production capability and you can create a 10,000 PP ship using 10 stations in 1 year. You seem to be contradicting yourself, you have the best production rate out of all of us, since you aren't sticking to a system and you're making production rates up as you go along.
  10. Zypherius has a tiny puddle as a sea, and the concentration of chemicals and salts in it is so high that it is toxic to basically everything and horribly radioactive. Surprisingly, there is no kelp
  11. Replacing life on zypherius with a mechanical copy of whichever animal is being replaced. A special type of decorative nanite as been created that slowly grows into a metallic tree. There are multiple varieties for different plants. Now I can totally wreck the planet and still maintain some form of ecosystem.
  12. Project Durendal is complete, mass production has begun. When stood up straight, they're 10 metres tall, 3.5 metres wide, with 1.5 foot thick armour surrounding the limbs, joints and chest. There is an extra layer of armour surrounding the miniature quark generator situated in the chest, which supplies enough power to allow fluid movement and the abillity to run up to 150 km/h due to the huge stride. It's weapons include am Arc Stream cannon mounted onto one wrist, and an Arc pulse rifle on the other. On both shoulders are miniature Arc goalkeepers, as well as another one mounted to the lower back. It has camera lenses made of diamond, as well as two backup cameras, and a minor nanorecorder stealth coating (Although it is rather difficult to hide a machine the size of a small building.) They have jet thrusters, but are incapable of flight and can only perform short jumps. They also have one other feature. When they have sustained a certain amount of damage, the generator will go haywire on command, the drone will use the thrusters and divert all power from any other systems to launch itself at the enemy as a giant flying missile.
  13. Hmm...So Archi, what kinds of bad events do you have planned upon discovering new systems? Personally, I don't plan to colonise very far away, as I don't need much space anyway.
  14. Wouldn't the bodies have finished rotting in the 10 or so years it's been?
  15. I think there should just be a chance to discover one when using a probe...?
  16. The Decade of "What the hell do we call this decade". Why did people suddenly start wondering about this now? It's not like we had 10 years to think of a name is it? Oh wait.
  17. I've been using the system to build all my ships and defenses for a while now. Except I did my own modifications to the system in that defensive structures cost their only 75% of their war value, otherwise there is absolutely no point in building them since you might as well build a ton of normal ships, because they can move as well. I was going by the stations costing 4000 to produce 250 per turn, so yeah. Matrioshka brain completed soon. Durendal as well. Durendal is using a new technology (Combat Dynamos) which I obtained from a secret source (Confirmation by Archi can be obtained if needed) which increases the efficiency of the drones.
  18. A total of 15 Styx platforms and 5 Ares cannons have been moved to an unknown location (Outside of the local area, I'm not planning to launch a surprise attack or anything) More on this when and if I feel like releasing it.
  19. At least £850 in total.
  20. Wouldn't a warp engine be able to escape a black hole by going like way faster than the speed of light? Edit: No, since we couldn't use it due to the black holes mass. A few of my Styx Battlestations are being towed out of the local area to a secret location
  21. The rings still take time to transport data. It is definately slower than warp.
  22. Strange matter is a theory, and it doesn't multiply things. It is just a different form of matter.
  23. All of which were thouroughly discussed with Archi before implementing. It doesn't multiply things, it just has a different arrangement of quarks compared to "Ordinary" matter.
  24. Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
  25. Everything I do is totally within the realms of possibility. I'm constantly asking Archi whether or not something I have planned is possible.
