Zombie Plans-Revised
Explosives will always have their uses though. A good example would be using a large explosive to knock down a wall, or as a distraction for zombies. Though it would have to be radio controlled in that case.

I like the man-hour research system. Means people have to manage what they do more efficiently.

Aeroika
96 million man-hours actually, Grim.

I have 65 million people. I assume you have like 80 million.

I'l think about it. Grim, what is your population?

With all your crazy physics, you guys have started to attract search engine bots. Or at least, thats the only theory I have for seeing two bots looking at this page.

Zombie Plans-Revised
Thing is that Thermite is stable and doesn't have any explosive force to it. Try Tannerite. It's fairly easy to obtain if you know the right people / know the right household products, and has a decent amount of explosive force to it.

Okay, so 10% of the population working on research and/or military stuffs. That means I get 78 million man-hours per year. Sounds good to me. Yeah, I'll go with a 2% growth rate as well.

I thought you deprived yourself of surface ships and air because your infantry can be counted as a navy? I guess it could be modded up to like 7% or something...Bleh.
-
Aeroika
I said 5% because it's a happy medium. Any higher and people go crazy, and any lower, and people swiftly get annihilated since they don't get enough people. It isn't for the sake of story, its for the sake of gameplay. Feel free to debate it, but I think that everyone should start with a 5% growth rate which can be improved through research.

Things that gross you out/bother you unnecessarily
Chalk. Not even when somebody scrapes it, whenever somebody shows me chalk I start to twitch and shiver, so much so that I can't keep hold of anything for about half an hour afterwards. Oh, and anything going near my wrists. I hate that so much.

Earth Eternal - Open Beta
Well, they fixed some of the lag, and nobody is having too much trouble with rubberbands anymore, and they also took out four of the high leveled bags from the shops so that more people pay real money for the credit shop bag. I think that was a bad move by Sparkplay, and I don't think I really trust them as a company anymore, since they even failed to mention they were taking them out in the patch notes. As well as the whole issue with vaults only being accessible if you pay real money, I sort of think they're going a bit overboard with the credit thing.

Alrighty then.

Lets say a 5% growth rate for everyone unless you do something specifically to change that? Looking at the other numbers, I'm taking 60 Airships and 6 Skyfall Airships instead of 50 and 5, since other people seem to have quite a large amount. I'm also cutting my troop number to 75,000, as I would imagine they are all quite well trained and 100k would be a little overpowering. All of my troops are armed with a Falchion Gunblade and a copper riot shield. Also, who is playing as the NPC empires? I assume it will be Archi?

Less armoured, faster, less firepower, basically. It's more of a transport vehicle or ambush/assault type thing.

Solution, make them live in steralized bubbles.
-
Aeroika
Nah, the tanks are just a lot less heavily armoured. I meant to put 15%, sorry about that. I'll edit it now. I don't know about the research, so yeah, I'll ask Archi about it.

Grim, which Exo-suits are you reverse-engineering? If they're mine, I don't think so.

Sigma will start with 100,000 soldiers, 60 Airships and 6 Skyfall Airships (Really big airships) 0 ships, and 0 tanks. My airships are going to cost 5 million man-hours per, the Skyfall Airships will cost 20 million man-hours each. I have a population of 65 million, of which 15% is working 12 hours per day average, which gives me 117 million man-hours. At the moment, I'll Sky-Depth charges, and that will take 80 million man-hours. I'll also start research on a tank which can be carried aboard the airships, but will put it on hold till later, for 140 million man-hours, as well as steam-clockwork armour, which will take 250m man-hours (Also on hold) There, will that work? I think that system will do just fine. Bearing in mind we havn't started yet, this is what I'm going to be doing as soon as we start.

But without the 365 it just means one day, when we're playing in years... I'm confused.
-
Aeroika
I think it's impluasible to have over half of your population working. I went with 20%, and I'm actually going to change it to 15% soon anyways. 25% would be a good number for a 35m population. Rocco, it really isn't that difficult. Hell, I'll do it for you. 8.75m (25% of 35m) *12 * 365 = 38,325,000,000 or 38.33 billion man-hours per year. Aaaand I still think I'm doing something horribly wrong here, does anybody know if this is correct?

Zombie's
Super Tyrant is a mod zombie. It can't infect people since it's an experiment and not a result of the virus itself.

I edited my post, so reread it if you haven't already. I don't think torpedos are around yet, but can probably be researched.
