I've let this lie for long eough. Please use the correct version of the word there. There = Hey, look over there They're = Hey, look what they're doing Their = That's their house It should have been taught to you in school when you were like 8. If English isn't your first language, I apologise. ..... About the first (4/5/6) posts in the new thread. We need a map on the first page, system lists, planet types and names, then a small section for each players basic stats and tech projects. There should be a set of rules on there, and a brief summary of the game so far. It might mean a lot of work for Doom, unfortunately. However, I'm sure some people could write pieces up on notepad then PM them to Doom to add to the frontpage.

Y'know, constantly posting that picture is getting quite annoying. It seems like a strange race choice to me anyway. They still wont be able to survive on extreme arctic planets, and they don't look like the most agile/intelligent things possible.

Metal, not metall. Sorry, you've just been saying it wrong for the last few pages and didn't want you to look strange. Also, 5 days till new thread 5 days till conversion is finished 4 days till I reach Sega-Res Cataclysm I 4/5, Catalysm II base beggining. Should take 4 years for any new ones now that construction tech is corrected. ExEos I & II produced (Ex - They have been stripped of everything except engines and essential machinery, purely for transporting Mechos) Chronos is cancelled after realising its too difficult/costly to do for now. Maybe in a few decades. Also, I got bs'ed by that "Save your posts!" thing as well. I thought it meant save them as drafts. Elysium is going to be dissassembled, as is my shipyard, they're going to be moved to Sega-Res. I'm not moving them until my shipyard in Sega-Res is finished though, so about 3 days after the new thread is launched. The sections of Elysium have engines, so they aren't too difficult to move, but the shipyard will be moved by Eos ships. Also, Helios orb production beggining, they'll be transported inside the sections of Elysium.

Since Project Helios was 5/6 today, and its nearly the end of the day, I can reveal it now. [hide=Helios Sphere][/hide] It is a semi-static defensive placement designed to either orbit planets or float in empty space surrounding systems. It carries a large battery, and requires recharging quite infrequently. I can mass produce these in swarms around my planets, creating a net of lasers. 6 days till my ships arrive at Sega-Res. Cataclysm I 3/5 now. My shipyards will be producing more Eos ships, but the minor factories, luxuries and beggining supplies will not be present in these, allowing them to hold up to 35,000 people. This is purely to shift Mechos from Earth to Sega-Res once warp drive is finished. I will be creating 20 of these ships, its not too difficult to make 2 per year, since they're 90% empty space, with a rocket attatched.

Lets just not use stargates.

Travel should be dependant on available ships though. I mean, you could always borrow your allies ships.

Does it even matter? Why can't we just use a bloody warp drive and be done with it? Gates require you to fly to the destination in the first place, which basically kills the point. It also kills any ability for tactical warfare, since you still need to fly to the opponents planet (Or you could warp your entire army in through their gate, screwing the game up even more) Can we just agree on using a warp drive. (Also: New avatar : )

Look, we can see that you really like Stargate, but Warp Drives are just simpler to use. Also, I think it would be cool if we merge our posts from like page 50 onwards into a new interstellar thread, where somebody who is active can control the first post and edit the map. I say page 50 because that is when most of the non-dedicated players had already quit. Obviously the new thread wont be made until we discover interstellar and start getting decently far into it. My Erebus drone is on prototyping. We have a set of arms hooked up to a giant machine, but no body designs yet.

Fine, Tungsten-Iridium-titanium alloy. Thanks for your help with the computers.

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I sent a sample of skin cells from my top scientists to your research centre. I'm now working on making my hypercomputer smaller, so it can work in my new drone model. The drones armour will be made of a Tungsten-Iridium-platinum alloy, which will basically stop a railgun bullet. Unfortunately, this alloy is incredibly difficult to produce, and, as such, I will only be creating about 10,000 of this kind of drone. They will be subjects of an experiment in which I will attempt to load a human mind into the machines. They will still follow the laws of my AI, but they will have human ingenuity, as well as providing a look into how humans would look at machines living alongside them. They will look like my normal drones, except a lot bulkier, and massive shield arms, which interlock to form a solid shell of weaponry, should the need arise. Edit: [hide=Erebus Drone] Black dots are pistol holes, red circles are cameras.[/hide] Of course, for civilian life, they'll be transferred into regular Icarus drones, but without weaponry. In the event of being surrounded or under heavy fire, they will fold into their shield arms and begin spinning and firing wildly.

Well considering I intend to use them in some new models of drones, I think I will need the motherboard versions. (Pity I can't use my supercomputer designs in drones, its just too big) I'd like to buy 1000 of the motherboard versions.

Ah, well, that makes sense I suppose. Though to be honest, studying the beheviour of an adaptive AI is a little useless.
