Seriously, the only reason people play sims games is to seal them in a room with no walls and watch them drown in their own urine. Or set them on fire, after selling the telephone. Or deleting the toilet. And the fridge. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.

That would eliminate the point of the whole thing. We're trying to discuss an appropriate way to continue this insanely difficult challenge, and reward those who are brave and tactical enough to defeat it. We don't want to make it easier, we want to make it incredibly hard to defeat, we want it to be dangerous and test even players with maxed out stats. And we want those who are great enough to be successful to be rewarded extremely well. Once again - We DO NOT want it made easier, not by any means. Quite the opposite, we want to make it insanely difficult. I'm thinking along these lines: The normal scroll champs have their levels multiplied by four(As has already been stated) and have their rewards multipled by around 40. The ten REAL rewards come from the race champions, So a few new races may need to enter into the champions hall, but these ten rewards need to be incredibly powerful, and the champion's of champion's need to be incredibly difficult to defeat.

Personally, I will always try to be good to those who are good to me, doesn't matter what level they are. I will try to give advice to people if I see them doing something wrong or asking for help. If people are being an [wagon], I'll try to beat them to the ground with words and logic, not stupid insults or threats. Unfortunately, nowadays, about 65% of people I meet fit into the "complete [wagon]" catagory.

You misunderstood him. If you happen to be lucky and get a rare drop, the ring of wealth gives you a change for a good rare. IE: Imagine you'd get a rune scimmy. Ring of wealth gives you a rune kiteshield instead, since it has a higher value. Yes, let me try to explain a little better. Say monster X has a rare drop set consisting of a rune kiteshield, and a dragon chainbody. You kill one of these monsters and you are miraculously given access to the rare drop set. The ring of weath increases the chance you will get a dragon chainbody, since it has higher value than a rune kiteshield. It wont affect the common drop set, but if you get access to the rare set, it will increase the chance of a more valuable drop.

Personally, I believe that the bosses deserve to be absurdly hard, to follow up an already extremely difficult minigame. I think death needs to be a real risk here, like at the corporeal beast. Jagex created a boss that often KO's players, and that was a very good decision, there is a real sense of danger, since there is a good chance that you will not get your items back, now why can't they do the same thing with this? They need to test the steel of even the most hardened players, then those players need to be rewarded greatly if successful.

The concept of the idea is good IMO, but melee doesn't need it, mage/range does. Especially mage. You have no idea how powerful mage can be, do you?

That theory is wrong, sorry to say. It sounds viable, but I'm sure jagex would just use a random number generator for this sort of thing.

Dragon medium helmets suck. Ring of wealth does not increase the chance of rare drop, but once you get a rare drop, it increases the value of that rare drop, if you understand that.

I liked everything except the Icyene amulet... it's a bit too specific-purpose, these rewards should be useful in more global situations. I especially liked the winged boots - certainly something a lot of people would want. Thats a good point, but the icyene amulet would bring the saradomin sword up to being the same as a whip, thus making strength the same speed as attack or defense. Now this is something many, many players have wanted, but have dismissed since they accepted it would never happen.Well, with this, it can happen, and it wouldn't be overpowered in any way, either, seeing as how there would only be around 1:25 people able to use this amulet.

if you can get enough force behind a heavy bladed weapon, you could take a zombie clean in half, maybe even carrying on to hit a second one, if you aim right. Also, I'm not thinking 100 zombies here, I'm thinking the sort of "98% of humanity has been taken by the virus and thousands of zombies are swarming towards the nearest signs of life"

In situation #2, you're basically [bleep]d anyway, so you might as well try to take down as many zombies as possible. In situation #1, the suicide team could hold off the main zombie force while the others escaped through the route with fewr zombies, as if the whole team went for the route with the fewest zombies, they couldn't escape fast enough and would be surrounded in a hallway, not a good situation at all. Its always useful to have a few people willing to give their lives to help others.

That was a level one clue, which is rather irrelevent since he's asking about level 2's and 3's. EDIT: Just asked around, apparently level one clues cannot give chaos runes, so according to that, you're lying.

By suicide squad, I mean, keep fighting even if you think or know you're going to die, and consider surviving as a bonus. Yeah I got it. What that means is i'm that awesome to (to myself :| ). Other then that when you are zombified you are not considered "dead". You are not alive or dead, you are inbetween. You are dead, you're body is alive, being controlled by a virus. You are dead, the virus is not. (Unless you happen to have some special immunity, which allows you to retain your mind as your body is taken over by the virus, which I doubt could happen. That would be pretty horrible, having to watch as your body slaughtered people)

Thzaar ARE great. Bolt tips are 7k each, and are quite common. Not to mention Obsidian capes, mauls, and sheilds aren't that rare either. I got a cape within 50 kills. Next trip a maul on around 63rd kill. Not to mention the bolt tips add up. Come back with a reliable drop rate average for bolt tip and obsidian drops, and compare it to cave slimes. IF you can do that and it comes back that thzaar are better, I'll believe you. Until then, I'll continue to believe cave slimes would be better, at 200-250k per hour.

Yes, do adamant bolts, you can make insane amounts per hour.

I used to play that as well. I was a collector fanatic, all cards were mint condition. Do you know a card called Cyber dragon? They were worth around £80 a while ago. I had four of them :shock: The things people will do for a piece of card....... Yeah I know... Max MTG cards ever reach are $45 Most expensive Yugioh card currently is Dark Armed Dragon. Price range for buy it now on ebay is 75-100+ dollars. Wait what the hell? I could swear I still have one of those somewhere..... Gonna go look for my old folder.

I can think of some other item rewards. Silver mask - like black mask but for range and magic. costs 800k Icyene amulet - same bonuses as fury, 5m cost, allows one handed saradomin sword usage. Winged boots - set a destination for them(Click operate anywhere on the map, and a flag appears on it) and you can operate the boots to go there instantly, costs 850k, would need to have some areas that cannot have flags on them. Soul Sigil - used on an onyx ring to create a sacraficial ring, allows instant access to a godwar room, without killcount, can be used five times per ring, sigil costs 100k. How about a new spell reward? I love being creative :lol: Ancient force - basically slayer dart on steroids, normal spellbook, can hit up to 40, requires 3 deaths, 2 bloods and 25 minds Comes with a new staff, the Demons scourge, Which is slayer staff with 1.7 times the abilities all around. Well, there we go, I'm all out of brainpower now. You can decide if you don't like any of them, what order to go in, if they need any changes...etc.

Thzaar seriously aren't that great. I'd reccommend cave slimes for your level, a good 200k+ per hour, or something like that.
