  1. i said legend's cape, but forgot about obby cape both are good choices though with his levels/cash a firecape or skill cape seem unlikely options for him
  2. indeed, i despise clans like that, supposed to play for fun, not to make the most cash at the detriment of normal players
  3. Netiznot Helm rune platebody/fighter torso dragon platelegs best rfd gloves you can wield dragon boots rune defender/obby shield whip for att/def, drag scimi for str xp legend's cape str or glory ammy (depends on your preference) best set-up for your stats and value for money
  4. without cannon, maybe dusties or ankous? with cannon, dagonnaths are great xp iron or bronze knives are great cheap xp as well :
  5. they vary but normally are huge and they spend literally all of each member's money on the items causing a massive chunk of the supply to simply 'disappear' from the economy normally only people to profit are the clan's higher ranked members and leaders though, like a pyramid scheme
  6. well it's speedier from his 82 than say level 60, so he obviously enjoys it to a degree so will seem faster than say if i went for 99 rc, seeing as I detest it and only level 57 :? thieving isn't as wow factor or nice as say crafting either, thieving is more common recently, and a lot of clicking compared to crafting with it's 'make x' option
  7. ahh my bad i did mean unlikely, will edit it now #-o chances of one player messing up market is almost impossible it's an economy controlled by millions of people daily
  8. if I'm doing something easily afk-able such as fishing, I'm on here and youtube or facebook something more hands on, mining/boss fights always have Itunes playing or sometimes dvds on (mostly stand up comics' live shows, less requirement to watch more to listen)
  9. i did yews at Catherby for profit and the occasional few willows at same location took me 6 weeks from 88 with drag axe and made 25mil+ with 17k willows to use for firemaking afterwards
  10. well unless millions of accounts all copied you and everyone mined 2k ores and sold at once then market will remain steady with smithers/crafters buying the ore to use I wc over 65k yew logs to get my wc cape and yew market is still fine, actually risen recently so that why i said unlikely
  11. the chances of you collecting 2k of anything for profit ores/fish/logs are unlikely to cause mass fluctuations of prices the merchanting clans and so forth cause more damage than the solo players leveling and profiteering EDIT: sorry typo
  12. well gold ore is f2p and p2p, and the number of accounts with 40+ mining are easily in the millions, so you're 2k ores would highly unlikely affect the market
  13. charms or seeds always useful : for higher tier boxes, I'd go with free xp from the lamps mystery prizes are never worth it IMO I had steel platebody and 1 body rune :wall: from two I tried
  14. the GE Graphs is what these merchanting clans go by apparently, so i presume they're your best bet or check marketplace forums here or RSOF. they should give rough ideas on what items are in demand/over-supplied
  15. cooking with sharks would take just over a week, so fast trim woodcutting willows/yews would take about 6-7 weeks from your level and yews fetch decent profit runecrafting with your level would be fairly speedy, and make a lot of cash
  16. a clan mass buys an item, then doesn't sell them, until prices rise steeply through lack of supply (underhanded IMO, but not illegal unfortunately :wall: )
  17. supply & demand determines all prices, in the player run economy in RS if more supply than demand price will lower eventually, opposite applies for more demand than supply also, merchanting clans may be buying out items to force price increases but there is no 100% guaranteed way to predict price fluctuations
  18. most of the time the 'noobs' deserve it, for there sheer stupidity and immaturity me and my girlfriend play for fun and our friends, not to be bugged every minute in pm/public by level 3's trying to do Shilo village quest and asking for help to 'fight' the bosses (when he has iron armour and flowers equipped) :wall: this really happened last night, i saw it on my gf's screen btw or getting bugged to lend godswords/drag full helms or asked how long does x amount of fish/logs take to collect the best part is, after you say you can't genuinely help (losing bone key to Shilo dungeon/forgetting logs per hour rate at 60 wc etc.) they start insulting you :| this is why noobs are always considered flame bait and are treated badly rant over... don't get me wrong I will offer advice/help to any levels that ask nicely, and if I can't genuinely help, I'll point them to a person/place that can
  19. much much better since update i can finally train fishing without a random giving me bait or 20 gp every 15 minutes :wall: well done jagex
  20. i died in first room many times, but not once in second or third room :( but to answer your question, grave blessing progress is saved, but easily do-able in one go though, just take your time and use oo'glog pool/boots of lightness
  21. i do irits in all herb patches, except for my arm's where i put a snapdragon that way if irits die, only 99gp lost per patch, with a guaranteed profit from snaps or ranarrs (dependent on level) and always use super-compost, less disease and increased yields one last thing, to cut down on bank runs, get leprechauns to note your grimy herbs :D
  22. drag full helm + drag plate = best looking stuff ever.
  23. well it is now haha   : \ gratz on 1000 post blog though, totally epic !! :D ;)
  24. last movie i saw..he's just not that into you  next one...marley and me \
