(sorry if this makes you feel worse) Um.....i really don't see how you died, i did it at level 86 with swordfish and almost died myself, but still managed to pull it off. Maybe, post your equipment and we can see what you did wrong if you want to try again.

You should really use bronze knives instead of iron...only a +1 ranged attack difference. Definately do yaks if you can, otherwise, mossies above argodoune or caged ogres.

Fastest and Productive... Fastest would be fletching, productive would be fishing and theiving. I'd go with fishing for both... Theiving if you like pyramid plunder till your crazy.

Bowstrings, you can easily get that in 2 days. It's not that bad, you don't have to pay too much attention, and you make money. I second that, there really is no way, and you'll be able to get 5 lvls easy if you play enough. There aren't really any alternatives... :wall:

:thumbsup: Your set, only really depends on HOW you kill them and WHERE you kill them. I suggest going to the chaos tunnels. First, head to a bounty hunter world, use a games necklace to bounty hunter and try to walk into the highest bounty hunter cave. It'll tell you that your too low of a level, but still recharge all your things, includeing energy. (drink antifire potion, optional, but recomended since it's so cheap) immediately run south and a little west, you should see the obelisk and near it a giant rift with the exclamation mark on the map. Go down the rope, and head north (giant bugs wont bother you), use that portal and you'll be in a room with 3 green dragons and a ton of baby blacks. Just use protect from melee, kill the green dragons as fast as possible and collect the hides/bones. Use the best prayer bonuses you can get, can't stress this enough. I usually bring: -helm of nessy -prostyle? armor -prostyle? legs -dragon boots -saradomin stole (use a holy symbol since you don't have 60) -prayer book (too expensive now, so i would recomend a defender) -whip (any weapon of your choice) -ring of wealth -barrows gloves (you choose) -games necklace Once you have full invintory or have no more prayer, instantly go into the portal to take you back to the giant bugs, once there, just use your games necklace. Rinse, repeat.

Alternatives to energy pots is: Super energy pots. Strange fruit. Oo 'glog pools. Running scrolls.

Or..............Do the quest "dealth with sacrabs" and get 50 runecrafting. Then enchant a water tiara with charges, mine until you have full invintory of 500kgs. Then teleport to either: Castle wars, bank, and then return useing a camulet. Al kharid, bank at the pass, get 200gp, fly to bendin camp, run south until you reach the mines.

You should actually try the lumbridge fly fishing area. Reports (and i believe them) show that it is faster than shilo, and you can afk more.... Where in shilo, the fishing spot moves (especially if there is alot of people) a lot, even across the bank so you have to cross the bridge. Where in lumbridge....The fishing spot is along one side of the river, and it only moves a few squares north and south. All you need to bring is a hatchet, make a cannoe, and bank in edgeville/G.E. You barely have to focus, and it's much faster than shilo (imo). Cannoe there, cannoe back, still 28 invintories. Uh....All credits go to the guy who made this guide, i can't find it anymore...i hope it wasn't lost.

Well, i finally figured out a way to FOCUS on my task, and i realized that it was because i couldn't see direct results of my efforts that i quit almost before i began. So im going for a really high level in magic. To get magic levels, i figured i'd alch, but then i didn't want to buy the runes, so i decided to make them. It's easy enough, but...i don't like the abyss, idk why, but i just don't like running around getting hit. So now...I've decided to get 57 summoning, from 45......For the spirit graayhk. What i'm asking, is could someone take my actual current experience points in summoning, and find the CHEAPEST/XP way to get to 57. I'm not exactly cheap, i just don't think i want to be doing green charms the entire way there... Since crimsom seems to be the best xp/shard out there. Also, could someone give an educated guess around how much i'll spend, i have 8mil, so i can afford it. Another question is, should i mine my own pure ess for natures, or buy them? (after i get the summoning of course) P.S. I've read countless guides (mainly 2, and i quickly scanned a boring one) and i know what to make, which are cheapest, i just can't decide how to use my charms. Why? Probably because they hit low, also, they drop food so you can easily continue dharoking for long periods of time. They mostly drop raw, but just outside the cave is a fire (that is, if you've done olaf's quest). Most of their drops are really good, includeing many sharks, and charms aren't lacking either. You'd make a hefty sum, if you sell everything. If you hit upon a brine saber (i got my first one after around 50 kills), its free 15k+. EDIT: Oh yea, i forgot, they drop noted food A LOT, if your short on food, just collect the raw meat they drop.

Lol, i guess no1 has pointed out that iron knives are only +1 more ranged attack bonus than bronze knives, not much difference at all, i doubt you would see any damage difference either. The caged ogres aren't that good, since your accumulator doesn't work there because there is a cage...meaning you have to either pick them up, or buy too many. I would just use bronze knives on experiments (you need a quest, i forgot which) or if you've done fremminik isles (you just need to start it, but you need to finish fremminik trials first), you can mass level on yaks, which is second best range exp in my opinion, second only to the chinchompa trainings. Goodluck! If you choose to do ogres, just use bronze arrows, 1gp each, slow and steady, instead of fast and expensive, which is what the bronze knives are if you don't pick them up.

Seeing as how he asked for the cheapest potion to make...i doubt hes really into moneymaking....

If you collect swamp tar or kill cave slimes for swamp tar, then you could make marrentil tar at only 48gp (still droping by 2gp) or tarromin tar. I think serum 207 is fastest, but tar cheapest if you collect the tar yoursef. Buy your own water, it doesn't even take that long. argodoune if you didn't know sells vials of water in the general store.
