  1. i expect 7-12 year olds not to be playing the game, seeing as there is actually an age limit, and i expect 13 year olds to be mature enough to be able to speak nicely with people rather than shout: 'n00b/s'
  2. just as i was readin this, i got asked to lend my zgs and got a random >.< but phats are kinda annoying to the owners who keep getting pestered.
  3. thankyou for correcting me, i really should stop smoking that weird stuff.... lol.
  4. good thing? if it was a good thing, then jagex wouldnt want to stop it.
  5. in the words of tehnoobshow: 'my main could like totally own, lvl 237' 'well my main is lvl 238' i just laugh at people who say that, which most of the people i face are using their mains, seeing as most people i face are lvl 120+
  6. well, i would like to add my opinion, so please dont flame and say gtfo. thankyou price manipulation is basically creating false demand for an item so that loads of people buy it, then sell it at a higher price, which would be fair enough. except that when people want to buy good armour, or weapons or potions, they cant because the item is bought out, meaning some people lose their enjoyment from the game. also there are a lot of solo merchers who make money without the use of many people to push an items value up. i would also like to take this quote from the jagex site: basically jagex owning themselves (again), by saying that it doesnt happen and that they are safeguarding it, when they clearly arent because it is happening right now, with one of the many cc's i know probably being nooby again and buying out something like uncut sapphires or something. im not against people making money from merchanting, but some people use the items, which price manipulators use, in their everyday rs life. this includes such items as bandos/armadyl armour, bgs, sara brews, whips, furys, prayer potions, super restore potions, zamorak/saradomin cloaks, etc. the price manipulators, are creating false demand, which can be proved, because; when an item is bought out, when it reaches the 'dump' value, many people will 'dump' their stock of an item, but when people start to realise what happens, the item will take about 3 days to sell even at lowest (this is after the first 3-4 hours after the first 'dumpers' started 'dumping their stock), because no one wants it anymore. i also found out about this during business studies, not economics. jagex say they have a similar type of anti hoarding system in place, which is clearly false, otherwise this wouldnt be happening. oh and to quote from my source on the runescape site: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... 559#prices click on the faq section and look at the last couple of paragraphs. no its not (as in its not like bashing people on wall street, not that bashing them is a good thing =S), in real life, it is very hard to manipulate the value of stock, because unless you own something such as an oil field in the north sea, then you arent going to have much affect on the global market. on wall street, prices are also not manipulated. but to conclude, it isnt really ok to bash anyone over the internet and here is a pic to prove it: (warning some may find the following image to be offensive)[hide=][/hide]

i pray in my matches with people in the new free for all and my zgs, usually get about 3-4 kills on similarly levelled players and sometimes get the odd 120+ (im 112 p2p/f2p), but i dont use protect prayers, just smite and piety. i would bet on that lvl 90 not actually having the stats of a f2p lvl 90, most likely has like 30 summoning or something and like 40 prayer. but its like the other people who call people defense noobs. why? because they have like 60 attack, so they cant hit through any reasonable defense level, then just get mad that their stats fail and decide that their opponent is a 'def n00b'. to be honest, eating to stay alive and praying, is a legitimate strategy and why does he care if you eat? its not like he would actually get anything from killing you, except saying; 'i managed to kill a lvl 108 (who was in ranging gear, so his melee defense wasnt very good, so even though my stats fail i managed to hit through his low defense bonus (after being slaughtered by that lvl 108 about 10 times)).' just ignore them and laugh at them try to do pvp, everyone plays their own way, noobs cant deal with it then gtfo.
  8. easy but repetitive to get, very very expensive to get. currently it would cost me about 98m from 78 prayer, which is what i am saving for atm. only 52m to go...

i have actually had good experiences with other players repairing my grave; i was at zamorak gwd, soloing after my friend teled out because he was low on hp with no food. so kril hits a 44 through my prayer, im left at 13hp, so i tele out as well. then i go to varrock, start to run to the ge, but i end up in falador. Why? because i hadnt used my anti poison and kril poisons for 16 >.<, but luckily a random passer by blessed my grave, which i thanked him for.
  10. i have 'relationships' with people over the internet, but it never goes further than friends, i also report people that ask: 'can i be your gf/bf?', because its pathetic and one girl that i know who was being hassled by a lvl 50 who said she was 'hot', gave the reply: 'how can i be hot? it's just pixels' completely true argument and under jagex's rules it is solicitation and reportable for rule 1. also i know that the 'girls' that i speak to online, are actually girls. and i think that girls dont hassle guys, because boys tend to think an assimilated bunch of pixels made to look like a female human, will boost their 'status' in society and boast about it to their 11 year old friends that they got a really hot gf. oh and i also agree with awcaddet about the fact that some of the things i have seen boys ask from females on this game, is rather sickening. I am sure many of you have heard the word: 'cyber', which one of the female characters i know was asked for, so me and some of her other male friends went to where she was and managed to get the little boy to go away and hopefully grow up. however not all of the people on rs, want to have to have a serious relationship.
  11. apart from rares being pretty useless, the fact that you originally made about lvl 3s with phats, is not always false. recently my brother met a level 69 who had a yellow phat which the 69 was selling, my brother did not believe this so he went into a trade with the level 69 and surprisingly it actually was his.
  12. torags has the best melee def stats of all armour, but bandos has 1 more range def in each the chest and leg components of the set. torag and guth helm have exactly the same bonuses in all def. i personally use a torag helm most of them time, as its bonuses are pretty good and it looks cool. i think the main reason people hate torags is because of its set effect being kinda piss poor.
  13. i was a f2per and was close to getting a 99 in f2p, but i got bored and joined mems, still havent got that 99 yet but im working on it. i personally think that f2pers should be allowed something for getting a 99 skill, but as is alreayd mentioned, jagex wants new members, more members is more dosh, and most bots are f2p. actually most of rs is f2p (player wise i mean). but if you want money, then you give people something to pay for and if they want it that bad then they will. demand is higher if people want something after all. if the supply of skillcapes was on f2p, the demand for people going to p2p would decrease, therefore reducing jagex's revenue. this applies in all aspects of things, mainly economics, but can be applied to other areas when necessary. I personally think that geting a 99 in members is not ALWAYS a lot easier. take attack as an example, experiments are apparently a good way of training for lower levels, but spiders are pretty good for xp and members train there quite a lot. sometimes deserving is not the same as wanting, from a moral point of view some f2pers may have deserved skillcapes, but from a business point of view if you arent paying anything to them, then they arent making money from you, so you get limited access to the game. just as bank space is an example of the exact same principal. however this does not mean i am completely opposed to f2p getting skillcapes. if people wish to argue with my point then i will listen, but there is no denying why jagex havent made f2p get skillcapes yet. this is my last point that i will make in this post: at one point there was a GLITCH that let F2P use IRON ARROWS, which jagex fixed. many f2pers take this for granted now and expect more than what they get, which to those who have played f2p for a decent amount of time may be fair, but when i see lvl 40s at bher complaining about the fact there is/was no pking, it makes me mad. members also dont get pking as well, whilst we actually contribute to jagex. it is keen to note that they also say; 'no pk no play', well tbh, you arent contributing to jagex, you arent helping your own case and on top of all you are still playing! if you want to protest like that then you tell everyone to stop playing and then they do it, not say it idly and not actually do what you threaten to do. and yes i know that the above DOES NOT apply to all f2pers, ut the ones who complain clearly havent been playing rs long enough to understand that f2p has come very far since its early days.
  14. actually i was floating, but the camera was looking from above thats why it appears that i am standing on the ground. and jagex have now fixed this glitch. but i had some fun discovering it and sharing it with the great comunity of tip it =P
  15. awww, ill try to post a link or host it somewhere else
  16. hmm thats annoying, but if you follow the steps you should see what happens =P
  17. well i was on my way to barrows recently to try to get a spear (still havent yet), and whilst in the boat i decided to turn my run off, as i now can due to the addition of the run icon around the mini map being able to be clicked on (i did this whilst the map showing where the boat is in the river was up btw). i clicked on it and ended up back at the start of the boat journey, but the mini map had no picture, making me unable to move or click on the boat. Thus needless to say i was worried, but soon afterwards my character slid north, then east, followed by a sudden change of scene, which was where the boat journey ends. i dont think jagex tested that one lol. steps on how to do it: 1. run to the boat in mort myre swamp 2. when the map showing where the boat is on the swamp is up, click on the run icon, which is around the mini map. 3. see where you are, and try and move somewhere 4. keep watching 5. go to barrows and get lucky =P (not a guarantee lol) here is a screenie: I will soon be submitting it to jagex, but first i want some people to test it and see it =P edit: i found out that the character doesnt slide, but it is floating and when you move the camera view the character also moves. so when you get back to the start of the boat thing, just keep rotating your camera around and watch what happens.
  18. i would have thought that getting 100 f2p cb the first time would have been bigger because you would have had little previous experience on runescape. i myself have 1 summoning and i do not like people who get summoning up for the hell of it or to raise combat/total level quickly, but i'm sure that you want to get high summoning for certain reasons... nice slayer lvl for your combat and your total is pretty good as well. i'd say 8/10
  19. it is a fair comment about the account sharing, but im being truthful at least...
  20. right i am gonna give it straight to you. i said my non cb stats fail, i have been doing slayer for 2 months so why dont you try getting over 120qp in half a month... magic level: dont ever use mage, just tabs now.. range: for a clue scroll dont intend to use range again unless forced to when questing. havent done rfd and i do slayer, so a cb bracelet give sthe highest str bonus i can use and tells me how many kills left every ten i kill.. also i was trying to not get ranked on total before i was a member and have 126 f2p cb, which i could have done, but now with the 2 million people thing that would have phailed anyway which is why my non cb stats are an epic phail.
  21. it was for like 5 minutes... it was a demonstartion of how much i hate skilling and i also changed my whole acc passwords etc after i got a virus on my comp....
  22. i want to do a bit of bher med lvl when i reach 112 cb, so when i decide that i dont want to anymore i will go and get summoning up.. and ty
  23. i was expecting like 1 for skills. i hate skilling soo much that i asked my bro with 73 mining if he could get my mining to 55 for me from 54 with like 6k xp left lol.... but also i make my money in a variety of ways. the main reason i dont like skills is because i dont need them mainly because i have enough money to buy anything i need to get etc. i mainly get skills up for quests.
  24. i started just before the pking updates last year. in march i was lvl 75. currently my lvls are: my combat level: i would have done a BoB but most of my good stuff is not tradeable so heres my slayer outfit: (another quick edit: i tried for a visage drop bu had no luck, not even a d leg drop yet so i just went and bought one) i have 4.2 mil cash and some barrows armour in my bank but nothing else except d legs of any value. i dont have any other accounts than this one so i have had no previous experience. rate out of 10 please (1 worst, 10 best) oh and btw my rs name is funnisam_9 (couldnt use that here forbidden characters....)
