I love looking at photography, but have never taken an interest in actually being a photographer. Come to think of it, I would actually like to begin and expore photography a little deeper, broaden my knowledge about it and have a go. So, how do you think a beginning photographer should start out. By the way, I love abstract photography, any-way I could incorporate that? -Mitch

Sorry for not reading the entire thread, but how long is your flight time? It can sometimes get REALLY boring. If it's over 3 hours, I suggest you take some entertainment. Ie: Ipod, Gameboy, Nintendo DS, PSP... Etc. Although, I'm not sure if you're allowed Wi-Fi gadgets on the plane. Check that out before you go. Portible DVD players are also very occupying. For some reason I cannot read a novel on a plane, I have to read comics or magazines... :weird: Hope you have a good time. -Mitch

Well they are the thing you're gonna see most of during your stay in this fabulous place... :( :D Interesting, so Chavs seem to be a mix of "metrosexual" and hip-hop influenced white males (can't say the word here). I'm glad we don't have them here, doesn't sound like a pleasant group of people. South Wales - United Kingdom I hate all the chavs that I live around, for example: I was walking down the local shop to pick up some stuff for my Dad. On my way I have to pass the Chip shop which is ALWAYS surrounded by about 30 chavs. I walked past and one said "Nice shoes, haha". I turned around and said "Shut the -swear word- up. Idiot." and I was immediately circled by about 10 of them. As I'm a pretty big person for my age, people mis-interperate how old I am and think I'm older, so I said "It takes 10 of you to pick on a 15 year old, does it? Well, if that's what it takes, I'll call my cousin's... I took the phone outta' my pocket and dialed a fake number and said "Hey Ash'... Get Bradley and Stephen to grab a few of the boys and get down by the chipshop." The one said to the 'leader': "Leave him, I've heard Ashley took out a guy in The Royal(a local pub) last week and it ended up pretty bad. So I shoved him and walked off smirking. :D Funnily enough, I walked back the same way and none of them said a word. Taste of their own medicine would do them good. Moving on from the bad things... The good things: Local skatepark (about a mile or two away). A few good schools. Cardiff is the capital, so we have a very good city quite local. It's a very mountainous area where I live which is really cool, lots of open space. I'm sure I can think of a few more. All-in-all, I'm happy that I live here but as said, I would like to live an American Lifestyle, without the cholesterol. -Mitch

Which one are you talking about? There was one Mission on Factions where there was about a bajillion Putrid Cyst monstors and for some reason or other they would ALWAYS go for my Monk(Healer) first so I was stuck with rubbish healing spells throughout. I eventually did it was a party of friends who were roughly equally skilled to myself, which made it a whole lot easier, as you could tell them what to do. -Mitch

I don't think I can pin-point a phobia I have. I'm a little scared walking up the ally by the side of my house at night. It has that murderous, eeriness to it which makes you want to run through at as though someone's chasing you. Being in the house alone at night sometimes gets to me. The pipes make terroble noises and sounds like people are walking across floor-boards in certain places. I once had to grab 2 knives with about 7 inch blades to feel more secure. :oops: -Mitch

I played Factions the day of release. I hit level 20 in under 30 hours, which I was very unhappy with. I then grew to be rich by selling thousands of Naga Pelts. (Naga Trips were fun with a few mates on Skype) Me and 3 mates bought a Guild Hall and started StealthGeeks. We were a really good guild and loved PVPs... That was amazing. But, I guess it got boring too quickly. I don't want to waste my money on Nightfall, as the same will happen, and with under 100 hours of gameplay, I'll get as bored as a Lion. Oh, and by the way, I was a Ranger/Necromancer. -Mitch

I started skating at about April last year when a local skatepark got built. I had my Airwalk deck with standard trucks and Abec 5 bearings. Firstly, I skated up until August in these: I loved those shoes, they were amazing to skate in. I skated a hole in the side of them from sliding my lift foot up the deck. The grip tape eventually wore them away. :P I now skate on a Southstar Deck with Enuff Trucks and Bone Red bearings. I skate in these DC shoes, but mine have a little black around the front and have more green on them: They're really nice to skate in, and I've got no wear so far because of the rubber siding. My best trick is probably the fakie trey flip. I'm really good at manualling, grinding and I can 360 pop shove it up atleast a 1 and a half foot ledge. I can also pop-shove it into grinds. I have some pictures of me skating on my computer(on lappy now), when I get it up and running, I'll post a few. -Mitch
