They improved Sophanem in the last update, so it is better than Dragontooth (though less AFK) at level 90. It's better than Dragontooth either way at 93+.

The concept artists envision how they'd like something to be designed, the modellers do their best in matching up the concept art with the limits of the game's graphics (though they do make breakthroughs from time to time), and the community team make a post with the resources they have to show off the idea behind a new set of armour/gear/NPC. Why does blame have to be ascribed to any of them? If you're dying to blame someone, you could blame the players for their repeatedly high expectations :P

Wait, what? As in hard mode is 1:1 with a normal floor. Which offers no real purpose for playing at it. Unless you want to do it purely for combat exp and/or drops in which case it's actually very good for both. WHAT Well, maybe the increased difficulty is already factored into the base floor XP scores. Maybe. On the plus side, at least hard mode offers the title, which is pretty much the only useful thing I'll be getting out of it.
