  1. If it makes you feel better, thanks for doing the calculations for us :P
  2. So far none of them have, but maybe they've been muted.
  3. Been doing some Barbarian Fishing recently, and keep seeing this strange thing happen: bots run to the pier and actually jump into the whirlpool. What could they be doing in there? They can't be killing brutals or mithrils, or pretty much anything else in there.
  4. You're still getting scroll voyages?
  5. GLUM I told my students "Public Law is Fun" They stared at me woeful and glum The chng chirp did not raise a brow The chan chant only a muted fusty scowl What shall I do? what can be done? They do not think public law is fun O dree O dear a difficult year? to rise the sluggard from slumber deep to awaken those sniffling in discontented sleep... herculean energy I will need to separate wheat from the weed... to separate wheat from the weed... - Thio Li-ann
  6. I see that it's worked out well for you :P Nice rank btw
  7. Are you serious? Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, gets more easier and malleable than giving players a UI that they can shape themselves. Clearly jagex has the players idea of smooth game play in mind. There are so many play styles and routines players adhere to that jagex could do no better justice than creating a resizable and docking UI they have now in the alpha. They couldn't spoon feed you anything more from here on out aside from assigned hot keys for opening certain interfaces or trigger keys. No offense, and I know I'm going to offend someone, but this is what I was talking about. There was bound to be a player to utter words in contextual format that "this change isn't good enough." Honestly this community... I'm shaking my head... The change is good, for sure, but for reasons that Aiel, Trey, and various others have covered, it's not good enough yet. This is called the feedback process, btw.
  8. I thought your 80th was 100%? Grats anyway! Would be interesting to see what happens with the 81st, and I bet your OCD wants to get rid of the focus square on the Port Management screen :P
  9. They could still only be seasonally obtainable within a window of 5 minutes. They would still be not discontinued, but hell of a hard to get item.
  10. How about easily toggling the action bar, option stones and chatbox? There's no functionality to close the action bar in the alpha, and if you close your inventory tab, it's heck of an effort to put it back.
  11. except for, you know the parts that blatantly do not work and all the ridiculous things were still forced to do. I'd say at this point NIS is worse then the current interface. Currently, the NIS is clunky and difficult to use. At least right now I can close invent/chat box/ability bar if I don't want them. Ok I get that, but you are taking the current situation as NIS being in alpha for granted and already in a live release stage. Everyone and their mother knows its still in test. The working concept should be used in this type of discussion and not the actual current system which is still in its alpha... Hell not even beta. I'm betting the beta will be launched to a live rs3 server. I was explicitly discussing the working concept of NIS. Because of NIS early staging I would rather use working fictional snippets of the system or known working concepts of the systems framework in discussion. Comparing the alpha NIS to what is currently running is a horrible idea. Comparing the known NIS framework or working snippets of the sustem to the current systems fictional model is fine. It's just that Jagex doesn't even seem to know what players like and use in the current interface system (f-keys, easily toggleable chatbox/inv/action bar), and this is reflection in the implementation of the alpha interface. Sure it's going to be tweaked, but why doesn't Jagex even know about common features that most of the player base uses?
  12. I assume you've been gone for a bit, limited edition SoF items have become quite a trend recently :P
  13. Ypu have until the 20th to buy as much as you want, then you can cash it in for xp then?...
  14. They're tradeable, I think they're 500gp each atm Would still be a major pain to stockpile a level or two, though.
  15. Apparently starlight ore can be traded to Ivar in the Artisan's workshop for 5 mining xp/1 ore. MINING BECOMES BUYABLE! (for a limited time only at about 100gp/xp)
  16. Did some QBD runs courtesy of the OP equipment setups. Annoying part is that the camera and zoom really screw up the whole thing - panning overhead gives you almost no view of the battle, and even dropping the camera as low as possible, you can barely see the QBD's head sometimes.
  17. Nobody is saying that the monsters themselves become easier. If it wasn't more convenient then nobody would want it. ???? Can you spell out your exact problem with having multiple fire capes. Is it that you don't want people to have a stack of them they can hold on to in case they happen to lose one? They're still putting in the required time/money (jumping through the 'hoop') for each cape they obtain. EDIT: THANK YOU
  18. Maybe Twenty is just thoroughly confused as to the difference between convenience and difficulty. Convenience is being able to have a stack of fire capes in your bank if you need to get back to PvM/PvP if you just lost yours after you died, but you'd have to beat the Fight Caves and TzTok-Jad for each cape you want. Difficulty is whether you beat the Fight Caves after battling through 63 waves or just being handed the cape at the door.
