  1. They haven't been letting much if any aid through for ages. The Gazans aren't even allowed to import cement to rebuild their homes that were destroying by Israel during the last conflict. Its yet another example of Israel applying collective punishment to the people of Gaza. These people now live in a miserable state of poverty which could easily be remedied. Instead Israel has seemingly chosen to punish them under the pretext of stopping Hamas smuggling munition (which hasn't happened). Not only is it morally wrong to punish civilians in this way (note they even stop The Red Cross from delivering aid) but it's counter-productive - it just alienates another generation of young people in Gaza, fuels their hatred of Israel and makes them susceptible to Hamas' propaganda. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 01409.html http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/wor ... 84862.html Im going to have to agree entirely with this; though I will admit Im not overly familiar with the situation Israel does seem to overreach its secuirty needs /acts like a jerk. Considering the situation there would be nothing wrong with Israel holding some blockade/cargo control but a functional ban on imports is crossing the line.
  2. This Just tell your friend they have the ability to sell it(is it possible to return to store for refund, it would seem possible with a game system). If for some reason they refuse to sell it then offer to take it to gamestop yourself and split the money with them.
  3. God does it because he respects your decision. He's not punishing you, YOU are punishing you by choosing "no thanks." He respects your free will, so YOU choose by your own free will to go. He wants to be with you, but, he's not calling the shots, you are. If someone doesn't want to be with him then there is only one other place you can go, which is hell. It's either Heaven (being totally with God) or Hell (being totally without God). There is no "middle ground." Like I said. The actual punishment is the absence of God. So are you saying there is no fire or torture? If so then hell seems fun, I mean if its just the abscense of god I think I can live with that; all the atheists in the world don't seem to be writhing in pain.
  4. So satan rebelled against god, yet convienently satan does the punishing that god needs someone for? That would be like punching your boss at work so you could get a promotion. I have already replied to that question. It could be that he feels you "deserve" it. He had to go through it when he rebelled, why shouldn't you? And, it's not like he cares about you anyways. He uses you. And God doesn't punish, the punishment is not brought on by God. The pure absence of God is what makes you suffer. If god willfully sends someone to a situation where they have no options but to suffer then god is punishing them.
  5. your misinterpreting the argument 1. I am thinking 2. something must exist if it is thinking 3. therefore I must exist This doesnt prove or speak to anything beyond that, the only thing I can be 100% certain of is that a. my conciousness exists b. some reality beyond me exists. Its technically possible that this entire universe is an allusion and you are all computers, where I am being used as a turing test to challenge your A.I. programming. Just because you act based on the restraints of a society, doesnt mean they are doing the thinking for you. It is quite sensible, the main obstacle is figuring out how to store the spent fuel rods in a safe and secure manner. The use was quite limited, a world wide ban on underground testing was put into effect as soon as we realized the serious harm; and only 2 nuclear bombs have actually been used as weapons. No, science is like finding a broken eggshell and trying to figure out if the c4 or a mallet destroyed it. While science will never be perfect, the longer time goes on the more accurately it will explain the universe. On the otherhand, religion will always be spreading dirty water over reality; old dogmas can be refined to conform to society, but they will always be blind ideologies(personal faith is different of course).
  6. There is a difference, they haven't found a genetic link for female homosexuality. Im just being a jerk; I do agree with you on all points.

  8. all your ideas for food will be rotten before you get to them.
  9. Didnt see a topic on this yet, and I think its signifigant enough to discuss for a few days at least. Basically, the United States has handed control of Urban areas in Iraq over to Iraqi security forces. The US still has bases and will still be operating in rural areas(including a base near baghdad just in case) but this is universally considered a major step forward. Hopefully, the Iraqi security forces will be able to handle security and we will be able to see a self supporting country very soon. edit--it actually is a national holiday in Iraq(yesterday I posted after day ended) am I spelling sovereignty wrong?
  10. We do have missle defense systems; they are currently deployed in hawaii and Japan As for an actual shield; we couldnt stop 100 missles, but I believe we can stop a missle aimed anywhere at the coasts of the US given enough time. I don't recall Obama Canceling the Missile Shield...and if he did, he'd leave a big hole in the US defense for an Attack from another country capable of hitting the US with a Nuclear Missile... And If NK attacked, They wouldn't last 3 Years like they did in the Korean War. They won't last 3 Months or less due to the coalition of countries that would mobilize there armies and invade NK. As Of now, there threats mean nothing, the only ones that need to be worried the Hawaiians, South Koreans, and Japanese, Maybe Alaska too, I have doubts that there missiles could hit any mass populated areas though (Like Anchorage). We have a missle defense already; he may have cancelled the construction of a new one in europe(I honestly dont know) The real threat from NK is a nuke hitting seol; beyond that they arent really capable of destrucion. The problem is that a nuke hitting soul isn't exactly a minute loss.
  11. You see, the devil's job is to decieve people so he gets to torture people...wait a minute...the devil is doing what god wants him to. So lets see now, the devil rebelled yet he is doing god's will(in being the punisher). Me thinks we have stumbled upon a logical flaw.
  12. Again, shawn proves my point even more. The whip is best on monsters without extremely high defense. On them, the godsword wins out. Anime, your math is pointless if it's incomplete. Ok 1. how did shawn prove your point? lol bandos is a monster with very high defence and he is saying that the whip beats the godsword even on bandos. 2. how is my math still imcomplete i factored other equipment bonuses like you said and all it did was allow the whip to beat the godsword by an even larger margin. Your multiplying stats by speed; which doesnt work. While the whip is probably better with a high attack level, it becomes better because the chance of a hit increases with your attack level eventually increasing the dps over that of the stronger godsword. The reason most groups suggest godswords is that with a lower attack level, its important that you manage to hit over the bosses defense.
  13. he may be thinking of the fact there are a few of the level 130 something aviansie in the arma area killing in the arma chamber is perfectly fine, there are 3 or 4 spots with multiple low level spawns, and if you have your zammy and arma items you dont have to worry about going near a sara monster.
  14. Or if fighting a single zombie, continue to run in circles around it until it trips trying to turn; then curb stomp him. /sort of sarcasm

  16. I think therefore I am; this argument is inherently flawed. This is basically the law of attraction; which is fundamentally flawed. They dont cease to exist, they are simply not observable to said human who lacks sensory perception. Even if you cant visually track a bullet in mid air it doesnt cease to kill you when it hits. Your making a flawed analysis of reality here. Just because we couldnt observe that the earth wasn't the center of the universe way back when doesnt mean it was the center of it all. If you hear wrong and think gravity is two hundred times stronger then it is, we dont all get crushed under the weight.
  17. I have been rethinking the flamethrower idea. The only way a flamethrower would be advisable is if it actually packs enough spray power to burn a zombie to the bone before it gets too close. While the power to burn zombies is useful, its only going to work if we can find or make a military grade flamethrower; both of which are unlikely to occur.
  18. slayer is a good option, mix of xp and money rock crabs/experiments/yaks as mentioned are very good Also, moss giants are an interesting option to consider. They are fairly weak and if camped their drops add up.
  19. I wouldnt really count this as bug abuse; while you are using a bug you are hardly getting an unfair advantage.
  20. if by "em" you mean your troll island homeland then I agree. As I have said 3+n times where n is a large positive number nuking North Korea would be the stupidest course of action. edit-- I like how one of my few episodes of american nationalism is doubting that anyone has better nukes
  21. Did anybody retaliate against America when they invaded Iraq? Neither will they when we bomb North Korea. And Iraq wasn't in many countries' "Hate List". The other countries would fear they they are our next target. I honestly think that there is an AntiAmerican group of countries out to get us, considering that we are the world's only superpower. China is a superpower, the EU collectively is a superpower Also, the US retaliating against an attack from NK is about 20 leaps from them going to war with a country we have no justification to attack. I think Russia is also still a superpower. And they can build more efficient nukes than the US, that's for sure. I saw the stats comparing a pair of them Do you have a source? Im not necessarily doubting you but Id like to read how you get that Russia has more efficient nukes. Efficient would seem to imply their process for making them is better, which I honestly find unlikely.
  22. This belongs in off topic(for the record debate club means runescape debates)
  23. Heres the thing though, have you ever tried walking in 5 feet of water? If a zombie which has nearly no coordination tries to walk across the bottom of a river or ocean its going to slip and be pushed miles and miles downstream by the current; in fact it might be advisable to draw zombies into the river as it would probably kill them.
  24. [hide=] [/hide] One thing that has always made me doubt the freemason conspiracies Is that I see it as little more then any other special interest type thing at the worst. While the initial designs of the organization might have been a little more lets conquer the worldish; its probably no worse in terms of political power then a politician using earmarks to gain popularity.
