  1. yes, your range and def are high enough. I dont know how long trips will last though, its just obvious you can kill a few per try.
  2. my guess for heaviest would be the gs, anchor, or a tzhaar weapon lightest non ammo; dagger or a fun weapon probably
  3. do the quest lunar diplomacy and have 93 or 94( I forget) mage
  4. kill green or blue dragons. Best bet would be doing the quests that unlock the ogre enclave then killing blues in there.
  5. I believe you talk to him then walk which way you want him to go.
  6. -.-  I was going to make a smart remark, but your actually right.
  7. The real worry here was what a ruling in favor of the school would mean, this reaffirms that like the first amendmant you do maintain a limited amount of 4th amendmant rights in schools.
  8. There is no reason to if you set your bank up properly ahead of time, hes trying to get a copy of every item that he will need on f2p.
  9. I like how Micheal Jackson dies and the whole media stops covering this, really shows our commitment to current events
  10. [hide=]I know you're playing the Devil's advocate, but just for fun, I'll defend my liberal-Christian view on homosexuality. Context is crucial here. I'm no Bible scholar, but I believe Leviticus was intended for the Israelites, as they were entering the Promised Land. And I'm sure some of us have heard that Leviticus also condemns wearing clothes made of multiple materials. That obviously doesn't apply for modern society, so I see no reason why the verse you quoted should as well. That's really the only verse I know of that directly condemns homosexuality. But depending on your interpretation of the Bible, you may believe that it does not apply to you. (I decided to go look on the Wikipedia article for Leviticus - found this quote: "Christians do not consider themselves to be bound by the Levitical laws") Oh, and of course, just because something is a sin doesn't mean it has to be a law. I know this topic is about "right or wrong", rather than "legal or illegal", but I just wanted to bring that up.[/hide] Soddom and gamorrah(spelling) from genesis get brought up a lot, but Ive never seen a verse cited that actually condems it(I read some of that chapter for context). Of course, leviticus also condemns eating birds with 4 legs?? and sea creatures that dont have scales or fins Finally, that last part of your post made me want to make an adultery joke
  11. I believe this came out yesterday, figured it was worthy of a topic http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/25/AR2009062501690.html Basically, the court ruled 8-1(amazing in us politics) that the school was unjustified in a strip search of a 13 year old girl on allegations she had ibuprofen. While there was concensus that a search of her purse and pockets was fine due to the school having reasonable suspicion of drugs, a strip search violated her 4th amendmant rights protecting her from illegal search and seizure. The court left open then possibility of a lawsuit against the school district, but specific administrators were protected in a more contested opinion that they werent intentionally violating her rights The single dissenting vote was on the basis that the school was not going beyond its duty to protect students and had justification to search (paraphrased) "any area where small pills could be hidden) My thoughts Very good to see the court ruling in favor of the student's rights, especially in such a strong non partisan fashion. While I wish the administrators were still open to lawsuits, the more important thing here was setting the precident protecting student's rights.
  12. for the training ground bring super att str and def along with a few regular restore pots(super would be excessive) bring a few recoils(especially for last two fights) guthans would be an interesting idea, not sure if it would be worthwhile though look up the safespot, your pretty low level. Personally, I did it fairly easily with full bandos and pineapple pizzas along with the suggested potions.
  13. rune scimmy
  14. rune battleaxe and str ammy maybe?
  15. I think you could get 99 range, you would be close and if you were to aviansie a level or two the extra money should make it enough.
  16. keep the thread open until you get word from a mod; Im not sure whether this is allowed or not but its an interesting idea.
  17. There is a limit for numbers in java thats at some awkward 2xxM so jagex just cut it off at 200M
  18. I think this is the problem.
  19. you might want some more range levels, sorry I cant give more advice.
  20. This would be a good choice, chaos druids are a good choice for money and xp at low levels The other two I would look into are hill giants in the bronze key dungeon(empty on p2p) and moss giants wherever.
  21. There is a severe difference between ethics and ecoterrorism. The irony here isnt that euthanasia of animals is occuring, I think almost everyone on here would agree it is necessary in many circumstances. The problem is peta declares anything involving an animal as the evils of humanity, ignoring any outside circumstances or reasonability. Hunting for example, while peta stands on its pedastal calling hunters murderers, they fail to realize the need for population control in many areas where woodlands border highways. Ethical treatment of animals. Doesnt mean they have to be alive, just kept from being hit from a car No, peta is not awesome. edit--as clarification, this is not a critique of any specific projects, Im sure if we looked through petas list of activities we would find plenty of good work on the behalf of animals. Things like revealing cruelties in the meat industry can be good work, its when peta pulls the ben and jerry's should use human breat milk card that someone has to put them down.
  22. I imagine it has to have come up, the problem it always runs into is it immediately shifts into an argument over whether homosexuality is inherent or a choice(people say you cant stop being black). Just for the fun of it ill dig up the bible quotes(Im for gay marriage, just for fun) leviticus chap 18:22 "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." Thats the main one, the bible text I found apparently doesnt have the term homosexual in it so I cant find more without some deep work.
  23. Peta is murder go to class not the slaughterhouse
  24. This is the only point I agree with. The combat triangle ISN'T fair. But not from your angle. Ha ha. Melee has got the BEST deal. Magic has got the RAW deal. I'll explain as we go on. Ha ha. "Powerful" spells. Godswords hit 2 or so times as high as the "powerful" spells you're talking about. And please. Mages stop you from moving because they have just about NO armor in melee. And bind effectively gives the mage 2 seconds to cast another spell. Which is useless. Mages take 3 seconds to cast a spell. So you can move freely for 1 second. And you'll be next to the mage in no time unless the mage is an idiot and keep casting binds. So there's snare. Effectively binding an opponent for 7 seconds. Big deal. The mage can only cast 2 spells during that period, and you'll be able to move a bit before he/she casts another snare. And snares are NOT cheap. Your stupid opinion is the one that's extremely biased. Mages are NOT sissies. They have no way to defend themselves in melee, so they have to attack from far. And unfairness? What [cabbage]. Mages get pj-ed if they farcast, and they die incredibly fast in melee. So what the [cabbage] are you talking about? You can't force people to not post. This is a public forum. You fight for the challenge. Mages do too. And they have FAR more challenge than you. They have to deal with the constant threat of pj-ers, who can KO them when they are unaware in a few hits. Mages HAVE to do that to win a fight. So what do you want mages to do? Get up close and suicide-cast a few spells? Fat chance. Firstly, refer to the stuff above on binds/snares. So you say you want a challenge and you're so "honourable". Then just let them teleblock you since teleporting is considered "dishonourable". Also, mages have a negligible defense in melee, so they binding you is fair. Their binds, teleblocks, etc IS THEIR defense. Holy crap, did you do some freaking research or not? This is how the triangle is supposed to work. Stop spouting nonsense. It's called SKILL. And stop [cabbage] about rangers being able to kill warriors, mages disposing rangers, and COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that meleers can easily kill mages too. [cabbage]. And I've already told you the reasons above. Crap. This has NOTHING to do with the new PKing system. And while they're wasting tons of gp worth in runes, someone comes up and kills them from behind with a cheap weapon. Ha ha. No mage will waste so much runes doing this. Other than that, you can just put on some ranged armor. And you're assuming the spell ALWAYS hits. It can splash, PLEASE. Summary? All his points are invalid crap. what he said, seriously nothing needs added to this.
  25. Nice idea but they said it comes from James Bond. I might agree with this, if I didn't read Extras, in which the idea was laid out for them. they said jokingly that it was a combination of the death ray from james bond and a harpoon gun. Im not sure about the exact payload capabilities but its certainly a fascinating/terrifying idea. why dont they make the rods a bit heavier? a lil bit more weight will increase the damage done by alot.... probably so they would be practical as tactical weapons. If the damage is too widespread they wont be useable in anything but the most extreme circumstances. With smaller rods, you get some potential like flattening an enemy base or collapsing an entire cave without blowing the crap out of an entire state.
