The choice to choose a race in Runescape
HunterDexter replied to Dire_Wolf's topic in General Discussion
:twss: All offence meant here SirHemen, you're being a total [wagon] about this. Just because someone disagrees with your post doesn't mean they have a "closed-mind". And it certainly doesn't mean you start using words that get filtered on here. In my opinion, if you want the play as a Fairy *chuckle* then go find another MMORPG. Runescape has always had Human characters as it was designed that way. In what way does "changing into a fairy to kill a boss" add ANYTHING to the gameplay or evolution of Runescape. All you are suggesting is hours of pointless work for the Jagex team so you can look pretty in pink :P +1 SirHemen, you were the first one to call someone selfish tbh. Also, as I pointed out in a previous post, it adds nothing to the game, really nothing. It's like letting us chose how graardor looks, like a baby, an adult, a cripple, a dog,... It might be fun, but it doesn't add anything to the game. You just say: yeah, but they get abilities. Well, abilities were in RS in the first stage, they were removed, because it limited the sandbox structure of the game. And when we say things about graphical problems etc that could be too big, you just say they could release it in little bits. This isn't a solution. It's a lot of work for nothing. I'm not against you, but I'm trying to get the idea to your mind that your idea is impracticle, like I, like a lot of us, have said. -
And I'll be crying under my bed because I can't complete it.

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
HunterDexter replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
Well, if I recall correctly (yeah, it's more then a year ago since I played the minigame), the druids are collecting those charges, not Fiara. So they set up a game around it for passing adventurours. Fiara lets them just go on, as long as it doesn't interfere with the balance she must controle. -
The choice to choose a race in Runescape
HunterDexter replied to Dire_Wolf's topic in General Discussion
Isn't going to happen, because all the things happening in runescape are tied to a human, our character. It's the dominant race (well, not by power, mahjarrat, dragonkin etc are physically/magicely/... stronger). Iycenes: they are destroyed, same applies to the avianteses. Elves, they have a great storyline, but at the moment, the only accesible places for them are a forest with a camp and a little rebellion village. Dwarves are also less prominent in the game, holding only 3 places with settlements (I think). Vampyres are restricted to the east of the Salve river, they cannot cross it, or become severely weakened (Count Draynor anyone?) Same is restricted to the werewolves. Fairies, to close, have only one place, Zanaris. Well, what I'm trying to say: an update like this will never happen, Jagex chose to only give one race to the players, so the story is more consistent and more deeply. Also, things like armour and movement will have to completely redone just to let our character be another race. Anyway, to answer your question, I'd rather want to be an Iycene. -

Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien
HunterDexter replied to Psycho_Robot's topic in General Discussion
Well, Guthix had the stone long before the Saradominist forces held it (and tried to recapture it in the FOG-area), so I don't think he tried to destroy it. He knew it was powerful, he knew what you could do with it. And about the game, the druids there has created it, Fiara didn't. -

Damn, do people really spend this much time (and jagex's time) to try and be funny? Lame. Well, if I see most of the submissions, I think a lot of people do it. Or it are noobs, that could also be the case. -

And Grand Tree pods? -
I'm at level 108 hunter currently, new content for the diehards might be nice, since they work so hard, with the only reward of a rank.

How did your Runescape name "come to be"?
HunterDexter replied to Flareboy64's topic in General Discussion
Well, I guess I don't have to explain my name then. :P -
Poll: Which language do you play in?
HunterDexter replied to Cowman_133's topic in General Discussion
Well, most of the time I play on English, but if worlds get crowded, I go to the French or German worlds, as I speak those languages in my country. -

Well, most of the part, it was a bit monotone (and some text wasn't sync with the spoken part), but I fell of my chair at the end. :P -

Well, after completion off the first wishlist, it would read that, but I guess, as soon as you start Fur 'n' Seek, it just vanishes. I guess... -

Correction it wears a manacle. Shackles is the general term for tht kind of thing and usuall specifically the ankle. Manacles are specifically the wrist Sorry, I used a translator, because I'm Dutch and never ever had heard the word shackle. But if you talk to Odd Old Man after the quest, you can ask him about a padded shackle, so I thought it was a manacle. -

Well, the only confirmed drops are from Graardor and Bork. And for the manacle: the horor wears a padded shackle, I guess it's that thing. -

Lifetime membership was also given to the 1 millionsth member. So, a few more or less wouldn't hurt their profit. -
Jagex is having a good laugh at their office about that femur bone, I guess...

I'd say start on Wilderness straight away, I always for Brimhaven to be slow and you have to pay attention. Whereas at the Wilderness course you can do it with minimal attention. Ape Atoll should only be done til 80 where dorgeesh'kaan course then becomes the best. However since the nice updates at 85 the extended gnome and at 90 the extend barbarian courses own all other xp in the game for agility (other than maybe wildy + agility brawlers) Heck even starting the 2 top course a few levels low with summer pies is pretty dam awesome xp Allow me to disagree on one point there. :P Since the new agility updates, Dorgeshuun became somewhat useless... You can just use the no-fail at Ape, and change to Gnomes at 82, where you won't fall there. : Fail rate at dorge is very very low and the better xp it gives is sooooooo more than ape [/hide] No offense, but you should really try Dorg. I fell alot from 83, and gave up. Took me less at Ape. I would still fall alot at 95 and above. Have you tried it since they increased it from lvl 75 to 80 and dropped the fail rate? I have as I did 80 - 82 1/2 that way and fell a grand total of 3 times. Oh, haven't tried yet. I'll try it soon, I might not even fall at 99 lol Well, it's just luck, was there 2 days for several hours, not once failed, 3rd day: I failed 8 times after each other on the last part to bring the item. After that day, I haven't returned, Ape Atoll was much less a hassle and a bright place. :P

Prayer update, is it around the corner?
HunterDexter replied to joker2022's topic in General Discussion
That's why they're updating it They're updating it because it doesn't need to be updated? I don't understand your logic. Its Jagex Logic TM, like updating leprechauns 2 times in like 2 weeks. @b1ue0wnzz: zammy would have better offensive prayers, in my opinion. -
