I'm interested how u link Varrock to london? Geo graphically and stylistically it has nothing tht screams London more so than any other city. Also Ardougne the black plague thing is kinda bs, as irl no city walled half of itself off to try and contain the plague and as u quite quickly learn via quests there aint no plague Read Albert Camus' La Peste, and you'll see it happened quite often. :P

Yep, got all the stones for the fourth rebuild within 3 hours (not counting the construction ones, otherwise I can add another 2 hours...) and that was with switching between each stone, so it really helps. :P Still, I want to at least free the poor mage... That's the only reward I want.

Yeah, really odd what's going on at Jagex Towers, no twitter, no blog, no weekly FAQ. They're all having the week off or they have something truly epic to work on. Hoping for the second one.

The one in the cache looks exactly as the statue does in the brief moment between come to lfie and explode. In that brief moment it just uncovers the head, a part of the arm and the top of his staff.

Yeah, I'm thinking that every time you rebuild the statue, the curse wears a bit off. I take pictures of every explosion to see if there is an evolution in the body parts that get turned into human flesh instead of stone. And we know there's a non-stone version of Dahmaroc in the RS Cache.

Sorry, doesn't sound as German at all to me, and I know a lot of Germans. :s But it's nice to see a bit of the new Zanaris, except that there was no fairy to be seen. :c

I'm personally going with Tortoises... Kyatts will be harder to pick out in CW bank :s That's why you use a different bank like MA, or even Draynor with the glory (Yea, a bit more recharging needed, but better than losing yourself in a mess of Kyatts). ~Dan Hmm, guess I'm going for MA bank then. :P But is it true you can sell your shards for 25gp/ea to the pet shop owners? Thought I've read that somewhere in patch notes or something. :s

Yeah, I'm only collecting these stones because they are meant to be collected, that they should be gotten by training normally isn't of any importance, because in no way I could be able to rebuild the total statue in our POH that way.

I prefer to look at it as "I need to collect 30 rocks every week for a while." It isnt as discouraging. :P Am I only finding it discouraging because of RCing stones? is anybody else finding that it's taking hours an hours to get just the RCing stones? whereas most other stones are doable in 5-20 minutes? Hmm, rc took me long the 2nd time, but almost everything is taking me longer the second time. My guess is that farm is the most discouraging, is taking me way too long, especially because you have to wait for the growing crops and you can't do anything better.

But consider the replica pieces, of which there will be thirty also. You could theoretically get 15 different of those before you get the first match for your POH. Not to mention all the skilling crap from your 99 skills that has to be re-stocked now. The replica pieces don;t need to be in pairs. Each 1 can be added to the plinth as you get it. Proof being you get 1 replica pieces for first week, and people have screenshots of it in house saying you have added 1 of 30 pieces. At very minimum 29-30 weeks. Also yes its true. Well there is 30 pieces to the statue (aside from the plinth which doesnt count), we currently assume each week you get 1 replica piece. Which means 30 weeks. Second question the first guys answer is misleading. There is the REAL statue and the REPLICA statue. Only the replica can be built in your PoH the real one can only ever be built at varrock. Paw, you still need the pair stone to add the replica stone in your house, tried it. :c It's just the same as with the statue in the museum.

Yeah, construction ones are the ones that make me freak. Along with farming ones, because you can only wait, and wait, and replant, and wait, and wait a bit longer... Oh, and see that diseased snapdragon turn into a dead plant because you were too late. But really, the second batch of rocks seems much harder to get, batch 30 must be insane if this is really the case...

Just completed my first statue, now I'm in my house waiting for the next stones. :P

I'm guessing the curse gets weakened every time we rebuild the statue, or that we can transport the mage's soul to the finished statue in our house, which is uncursed, and so we'll be able to get a reward from him, well, that's what I'm hoping for. Still going after the last 10 rocks for my first rebuild. :P

Oh, good old bull roarer, I love it. I always like it to put on my sound just for hearing a serenade made by a bunch of people standing together. Really, after a while, it seems like you're hypnotised. XD I know once that it caused major lag around GE and caused a lot of people disconnect, and that's indeed a sad point. But apart from that, learn to live with it I say, there will always be persons who find it amusing, just for the fun, or for annoying people. :P

Well, there do is something that disappoints me with the recent quests and it is the lack of creativity. And with creativity I mean things like using a seagull with a selfmade cannon to get the attention of a prisoner (yeah, you get the link). During NR we just see some pillars, we need to move/rotate them, and that's it, no broken parts to fix, no statues to be sculpt, some unexpected things to overcome during the pillar puzzle. Just take a look at Haunted Mine, we manage about 6 mining tracks, just to get an illuminating mushroom into a dark room, so we could proceed through the mines. In Nomad's Requiem, we give some shots at a handle and BOOM, another arcane powerstation down. Same for the room with the elemental beings that you had to get under the little waterfall. Ok, you had to mine away some rubble and change the waterflow a bit in the other room, but for the rest it was just taking some fuel and bait it. Instead they could have made it so that you had to tear down the fuel machine in some way, or at least had to take some effort to get to the fuel. I can say the same about the Piety room, just get some slabs which you can find within a minute with the sole effort of running down the place. Oh yeah, and we send a fire blast to some explosive barrels that are just standed right next to the precious powerstation... Instead of making it a bit difficult for us... Yeah, the fight was good, and the quest has set us on a new track in the RuneScape history, but I see a lot of missed chances, not only in this quest, but in most new quests in general.

Am I the only one who finds the mod's name funny? :P
