From what I heard on RSOF, nothing happens after finishing your statue. And you just can collect more rocks... Maybe week 31 will bring freedom to Dahmaroc?

In Belgium Sinterklaas comes on 5-6 december. Hmmm, only this differences could make Jagex choose to not do this event.

Expression frustration is hardly trolling, often when said frustrations are justified. You feel embarrassed for Tip.it? I feel embarrassed for Tip.it too--but for different reasons. Ever since Andrew threatened legal action against Tip.it and the subsequent take down of a particular article, this place lost its collective [cabbage] and ever since nothing that Jagex done can be ever examined critically otherwise one must fear the wrath of the apologists. And now we are at a stage where people are advocating others be banned for their opinions. How wonderful? Mind you there are still a lot intelligent and articulate people here but they are often overshadowed by apologists like you. I know you put a spin on your words to insinuate that only the trolls should be banned but inside their there is the implicit assumption that they anytime people have any complaints in regards to delays, we must be trolling, or as you put it engaging in 'sob fests'. It is as if to you, there is never a time when people are with legitimate qualms, it is as if people are just always sobbing. The whole Platinum status is another thing to worry about, people anticipated that once they unleashed something of this sort, there would be conflicts of interests where people like you would be more interested in getting some silly little control mechanism, er I mean status instead of actual discussion. "Lets not talk about certain things like complains because Jagex might not give us the next status or revoke our current one, we can't have that now can we?". Sorry that I'm going off topic, but could someone tell me what happened so that Andrew wanted to put legal action against this site? I'm kinda curious. :s

Guys, any idea how i can get that drone on one of the workers? All I get after 15+ captures is "Nothing interesting happens". EDIT: found out you can just put in on a box, odd they say to put it on a worker...

They were "working" on it... On a side note, are all updates from the last CE letter already brought out? I can't find the translated text anymore, I only knew there was something about the wyrms, the void quests and something else. :P

I realised during a slayer task today that I really should stop alching my charms... Alched like 5 blues and over 40 crimsons...

About the costume room, yes, it's true, got like 40-50 items in my bank, which cuts down my available space A LOT...

Today, I got most of my rocks for the 21st replica piece and almost every rock seemed to take longer (1st smithing stone took me 2.7k smelting steel bars...), but I agree that it is just random, just as with rare drops (look at effigies, got like 40 slayer tasks before I had my first effigy, afterwards, in about 5-10 tasks I've had 3 other effigies). It's all based on luck.

Actually, the meerkats do look like pets as a reward, as they have a translated text and because their message "Danger" actually is a characteristic of the meerkats, when they feel danger, they go stand up on their backlegs as on the picture to see where the danger is.

Yeah, don't forget the dwarves too, they were planned to be updated with Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf, only update to them at this moment are the chatheads. But hey, in the meantime, we can colour our whips, dark bows, rune guardians and get dungeoneering-clonesque CW armour...

Mod Dylan came back when Within the Light was already in progress, what this means for the next Elven content, I don't know. But I really hope they will work together, would be a nifty piece of quest we would get then. :P

We're all [bleep]ed. We're more than that, we're totally freaking [bleep]ed. Dylan started the EW series too, a simple look at the relase of EW Part 1 shows this, so actually, we were bleeped from the beginning. He's been one of the major quest developers, but resigned years ago (which is why we didn't get any "real" Elven quests/EW quests), but came back this year I guess and provided us with already 2 quests (Within the Light and EW3). EDIT: sorry, Chris L did Within the Light, as the quest production had already begun when Dylan came back. Also, there do is a video for Quiet before the Swarm, it's simply not working. The video is supposed to be shown in the news post of the the quest on the main page. But all we can see is a greyish box which requires Flash Player. Lastly, the quest with the signature hero is "Tome Raider". :P

Well, at least we know now that al lot of updates are on hold or not even started yet. And that the first quest with those adventurers has the code name "Tome Raider", about the white knight guy trying to escape from prison.

Everyone loved the first video, now everyone is yelling at him? :blink: Every one loved the first, and every loved the second outside of tip.it forums. Look at the youtube comments, 60+ comments saying how great the video is in under 2 days (only 1 negative comment). People have to know that i honestly hop to a world, be annoying to some one for 30 seconds and then i hop to the next world. It's just 30 seconds. So I and a lot of other aren't part of the so called "everyone"? I really disrespect the attitude of the maker of this video. As I play RuneScape as a passtime in which I put a lot of time, I don't want to get offended by people who are just doing such things as Monnik to annoy me, or even lose stuff. Also, as someone already said, behind every character is a real person with real feelings. Would you love it to be the point of laughter because someone is offending you, on purpose? I wouldn't.

Or sneak into a Dragonkin castle, or maybe have a chat with a noob from the 3rd age about how bad his armour is and that you will trade him your shiny rune set for his *worthless* armour. :P 3A has better defense stats then rune. I'm sure that you still can scam in the 3rd age, scamming just came to a halt in the 5th age. :P

That was because Mod Dylan resigned, but he's back now. That's also why the Elve series stopped (maybe the Dwarven one too, not sure about that), because he was the curator and had designed most of the plots. Now he is back and we can expect some more quests from him. Well, maybe not Elven, as they need better graphic thingies to make a real crystal-like city.

Well, in the quest, it is the case, the pollution caused by the dragons in the factory starts to let the ice melt on the mountain. It is said that way by numerous persons in the quest. Also, go read the KB article on GWD, thanks to burning logs and a bit of magmatic works, the area was uncovered. I see Perils of the Ice Mountain just as a message to work on a green environment, which is a good thing, not just because of the warnings about that we are the cause of global warming, but just because it is better for ourselves and our environment. The plastic continent in the Pacific Ocean, heavy pollution of the Amazone, acid rain etc all have an impact on our planet. Animals and plants die to it, because of stuff we (well, mostly the industry) cause. It would be great to stop this kind of things and respect nature, just as Jagex does by being a CO2-neutral company and by making this quest: to make people aware of human intervenience and all the effects it causes. I know that in Great Brittain a lot of stuff is political influenced and some messages get some bad connotations just because they are used by a political party, but is the message "save our nature (and ourselves)" that bad thanks to that?

Back in my day, we had unid herbs and sold them 1K ea. Then the greedy merchant-herblorist turned them into ranarrs and made lots of pixelated money.
