Since MA came out, we didn't even have had new quests that required tools, most were just handed out during the quests itself. And so, the quest kit is awaiting in my bank, patiently...

Hmm, something tells me we're going to be very sneaky to smuggle stuff in and out Daemonheim. XD

Also, I hope they learn to re-use some models and stuff, we're seeing way too much different interfaces for example, when there are already good ones out there in the game.

I do like it that we can store the books. :P Kinda useful for leveling parties and so on.

Are you referring to it's many delays and rewrites to be eventually released as a quest many consider only adequate? Or something else? Well, you can at least say that the quest didn't really "fit" with the rest of the series. Only stuff about teeth, while being a farming themed series. Also, the fight was laughable to say the least, the "war" between the fairies and the orcs was turned into "me and 3 teethorcs against 3 other orcs and the godfather". There wasn't a lot of flesh in story behind it, apart from introducing the tooth fairy, who dominated the whole quest, letting us do the normal "fetch"tasks. If you compare that quest to for example te penguin series or the pirate series, you can say at least that a lot potential to make the end glorious, but it didn't. It was just a major letdown, just like the past two dwarfquests and ofcourse the deadliest catch. You started doing something, and before you could say "Whippersnapper" you have reached the "You have completed this quest"-screen, and your left with that odd feeling that a lot was missing there, plotwise but also on actions.

So practically speaking, almost all coding and graphics were devoted to making this update? Shows why we haven't gotten any standing out content lately.

I hope they don't make a fiasco like with the fairy tales...

They can't even manage updating the trees in areas they have been graphically enhancing, no doubt we won't see those castles floating around. Just an instanced area with maybe an edge with a blue sky resembling the floating piece of rock.

I'm surely missing something... This update really shows Jagex has lost every single touch with the playerbase.

Some say they are inside the stone, could get REALLY interesting. :D

The bots block the seaview from my appartement. And now serious, the bots are really a nuisance, they wreck the whole economy, spoil our resources, spam the game and private chat. Gold selling, hacking, it all has returned to a scale you cannot describe. Jagex can in no way handle the problem, their promise was just a greedy lie. Another issue, a lot smaller: the ambushes from pkers while doing things like wildy agility course, or the penguins, or the rune rocks, clues,... are a real pain. I am a player from 2002 and I do remember how it was in those days, before restricted trade, but I preferred it that players that didn't wanted to get involved with PK'ing, could stay save from the PKers. I simply don't PK, nor merchant, nor stake, so I couldn't care less about the restrictions. I know you are going to respond to this with the same stuff all over again, like you did to almost everyone who voted "no", but I stand by my opinion, the bot problem is way more bigger than it was a year ago, and if you keep saying otherwise, there's something wrong with your eyes.

No, my second sentence was just my major problem with this game, along with the way Jagex handles the game now. It doesn't have to do with this discussion, but I just had to say it. :) But in my opinion, RS is now more ruined than during the restricted stade.

I don't regret my no-vote. But what really disappoints me, is the attitude of players these days, a lot of them just bot for the levels, for the money, for the items. Where was the joy in just playing? Ingame, I'm getting laughed at because I play just for fun, and that I am not an efficiency nub. It saddens me a lot.

Saw the potion table getting blown apart, didn't knew the troll could do that. Didn't brought food nor pots, but survived till the end of the 19th. ^^ Is quite fun, and it's been since A clockwork Syringe I say that about an update.

Punishment for the Jmods eh? I choose as a punishment: make a useful, non-20 minute gameplay, update that will benefit most people.

You can vaguely see the shapes of the boobs of the mermaids, but nothing worth seeing, I mean, they're fish, and greenblue-ish blobs representing breasts isn't anything shocking. Still got a good laugh when looking at RSOF, all those prudent people being "shocked" etc about it, cmon. XD

Good lord let it go man. XD NEVER. Actually, I'll let it go when they fix it! ;o Whilst reading through the patch notes I immediately felt sorry for you. I too feel the rage over the damn amulet!! ilu emm <3: Us Farming geeks have to stick together. Oddly enough, I thought of you too the second I had read the patch notes.

My problem with updates is that most of the recent ones are shortlived, or too hard focused on something only a little percentage of people will benefit from (Clan Camp etc, I'm looking at you...). Real improvements on skills, long awaited quests (well, just the rate of quests, generally speaking...), competitive minigames and so on are steadily declining, and in return we get stuff like death hats, wildywyrms and yet a still useless ROW. Also, we've only gotten 20 game updates this year, we're about halfway the year. Last year, for example, we got about 40 game updates in that timeframe, and we can't say that it was a real productive year either, apart from Dungeoneering.

Then what the hell does mean? It means he has poor eyesight? It means the computers had poor graphic cards? It means that his graphics settings were too low for him to handle the gaming environment? No - wait! It means you're making something up! :rolleyes: I respected you on the forums a long time, but your opinion on this matter made me think otherwise about you. They MUST KEEP ON playing, which causes them to see badly, that's clearly a sign of sleep deprivement. Your eyes and brains get tired of watching a lightened screen for long time, which causes bad sight. If you have to do hard work during the day, and then you got to look for several hours a day directly in a screen, you get ill, and really ill. Your brain and eyes need to get some rest, just as the rest of your body, but they can't, because they must "game" when they should get rest. And saying that they deserve it, is also farfetched, in China, you can get arrested because a relative of yours doesn't support the communist regime, a lot of people there are being put into something we might call concentration camps because they just don't share the same thoughts as the government or have symphaties for the Dalai Lama for example. It isn't up to us to say about those people that they deserve punishment, I only find the legal system wrong in many countries, including the Chinese, the one of the States, and other so called "democracies".

You can always get double ore in LRC, no matter you have the varrock plate or not.
