  1. Umm recently seen the first two movies on TV; and they were pretty good. Seems like they have a great cast (again) but I really don't know how they can finding weird ways to bring the mummy back. Haven't you noticed that when someone is reading a spell (or whatever they are) to save someone near the end etc; that they always dont know the last symbol? And they have to ask that funny guy. I think they need a more original way to build tension? - Rem. :D

  18. Hey everyone, I recently got a PS3 and i'm going to be getting a whole bunch of games so I thought I would give you my reviews on the game and tell you how far I am through them. I will edit in more reviews when I get the games (Grand Theft Auto 4 coming soon.) 1- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2- Assassins Creed. 3- Fifa Street 3. More to come... CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE - My Status: 100% complete on two difficulties. The story: [hide=Spoilers]Set in the modern days, you take the lives of Sgt. Soap MacTavish and Sgt. Paul Jackson and for one mission Captain Price (Leftenant Price in the mission.) The story starts as a Iraqian guy (forgotten name - will give credit to person who tells me) assassinates President Al-Fulani on national television to intentionally start his "New Beginning". Interrogating him lets you onto a plot to nuke the world with advanced warheads. You set out to kill the men in this plot (Imran Zakhaev, Imrans son etc) and save the world. After doing this you try get away, and in doing so; your whole team gets killed except you; and you kill Imran.[/hide] My Review: Really good shooter, maybe best on PS3; good story, extensive gameplay, and generally really good fun. Must have. Better than past editions. After completion its still there for in months time if you fancy a shoot em up. My Rating: 9.5/10. Good buy. ASSASSINS CREED - My Status: 100% complete along with 100% completion on two additional memories and good progress on other additional memories. All citizens saved. The Story: [hide=Spoilers]You play the life of Al Tiar who is an assassin and the ancestor of a normal guy in the present. Scientists have kidnapped the guy, and keep replacing him in an "animus" which replays the memories of his ancestor. You try to uncover what the scientists are after; and what your master of your ancestor is also after. The assassins follow a 3 rule creed : Never take the life of an innocent. Dont draw attention to yourself before a strike. Never comprimise the brotherhood. It starts with you taking the life of an innocent old man (breaking the 1st rule) against the intentions of your brothers. You then see your upmost enemy and suggest that you attack him. Your brothers argue against this. You go up to your enemy, he asks what you want and you say "blood". Shortly after you attack him, he pushes you back and the temple breaks. You are then outside that room; and your brothers are stuck inside. One of your brothers is killed and the other seriously injured. You return to your master. Your upmost then attacks the city outnumbering you greatly, so you all lock yourself in the castle. Innocents are killed; master is really angry so he makes you think hes killed him; but he hasn't. You wake up infront of him; and he presents to you a chance to redeem yourself. You have to assassinate 9 enemies that he says are in the way of obtaining peace. You slowly restore your ranks in doing this. After completing the investigations and assassinating the needed people; you return to As Muslim (your master.) He has taken the minds of the guards and all the innocents. You have to make your way through the guards and go into the courtyard at the back of the castle. You then have to face all you have assassinated in one big brawl. It turns out that your master wanted the Kingdom for his self and you was used in all this. You then have to face your master in many ways and when you have fully killed him; you find you cannot go near the tool he was using to control the minds; and can't destroy it. You return to the present. The scientists now have what they want; so it is suggested that they dispose of you (kill you.) The girl saves you by saying that you might be of use later on; and it turns out that your egle vision tells you she is an allie; and the male scientist is an enemy. What could this mean? When you walk back in your room; eagle vision comes on; and you see patterns marked on your wall. It turns out they have kept someone else here. What could this mean? The game ends in mystery. After completion you can replay memories by going back into the animus; but this time you can kill civilians without desynchronizing at all.[/hide] My Review: Good story and good game until it gets too repetitive. Assassinations can get a little boring towards the end; but it perks up on the last one. Extensive gameplay for those who enjoy it a lot. My Rating: 7.5-8/10. Good buy. FIFA STREET 3 - My Status: About 28% completion; it was too repetitive. The Story: You have the opportunity to enter different competitions/cups; upon completion you unlock the next in-line. Along the way you unlock different teams etc. There are many main-menu options also. My Review: Ok to start with; ok graphics and choice of music; but I dislike the "hero" looks of the players. Good combination of freerunning/football but gets really repetitive and boring in my opinion. Not as good as Fifa Street 2; which I enjoyed completing. My Rating: 5.5-6/10. Ok buy if you like that sort of thing. If you have the choice I would get Fifa Street 2; but thats only for PS2. Hope my reviews helped you decide wisely on choosing PS3 games. More to come! - Rem. \ Edit: Changed your title, and added hide tags to the story lines.... Think of others and that they may want to actually play the game to find out. ~Lionheart_0 Thanks Lionheart_0 I wasn't sure how to. :?
  19. Great thread. :) Off topic: Amazing number of posts :o - Rem. :D
  20. Yeah, asked about this game in my local Game as I enjoyed the last edition (Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.) Found out these facts if you didn't know them: World of War is set in World war 2. Call Of Duty 6 will be back in the modern days. - Rem. ;)
  21. Love this game, got it on PS3. In the first 24 hours I completed the whole story on the first difficulty, then completed the next difficulty in about 5 days (because I was at school.) Really liked the story and found it really enjoyable - its a must buy. Probably the best shooter on the PS3. Favorite levels were the Safehouse and Hunted. I keep playing certain levels again as they were really fun, and trying to unlock all cheats by obtaining all the enemy intelligence laptops. GET THIS GAME! - Rem. :
  22. I think its one of the main reasons thats people get membership, which brings Jagex a lot of money extra, so I dont think that Jagex will give f2p skill capes ever. In my opinion they actually should; because like you have seen many f2pers who have 99's without being able to show it, and 99's in f2p are much harder to get than p2p. - Rem. :
  23. I think woodcutting and mining are the best to make money. Woodcutting is easy to level and has ok money; mining is hard to level but has excellent money - runite ore = 12k each. I also use fishing for money sometimes, and is ok; but not as good as the other two unless you have really high level such as 90+ to get sharks real quick. - Rem. :
  24. I think weird names are more popular than normal names. I prefer something original that has no numbers (unless its in the middle to make the word) and fits in with the genre. - Rem. :D
