But not all of these people are idiots. More than once I've had a perfectly intelligent conversation with them, only to have one of their friends walk up and start talking to each other in semi-readable barrages of meme's. I swear, all they do around each other is tell each other how pro they are, how much they fail, and trying to make each other lose the game. I guess it's just their way of hanging out, but it seems more obnoxious than friendly to me :wall:

Your behavior is horrendous; I can't believe you're so casual while talking about killing people. I'd try fornication, confessing things I've been meaning to tell people (eg. I LOVED YOUUUUU D:), and reading as much as I can from the psychology books in a bookstore. Who knows, I might meet some interesting people who also, for some reason, want to read before they die o.O

I've tried to judge every person I meet on the internet equally but there's one group of people that really get to me. They're the ones that feel the need to belittle everyone but their friend in order to be accepted. I'll give an example I've seen numerous times in the Rate This forum. Let's say one casual player gets 99 cooking. They're proud of it, they realize it isn't as difficult as most of the other skills, but they don't play much and they're at least happy they managed to get it. The flamer posts something like "Cooking is such an easy skill, try something that actually takes a bit of effort :roll: " Then, one of the flamer's hardcore friends gets 99 cooking "for the lulz" and gets the level nonchalantly at an unfitting place. The flamer responds with something like "l0l y u so pr0 ilu 10/10 " Why do you guys feel the need to act like this? Why do you need to sarcastically congratulate a friend on an achievement while talking down to someone else doing the exact same thing? I'm just curious about all of this. I don't understand the allure about acting this way.

Man, you should find a way combine all of them!
