  1. Why not make enchant dragonstone or onyx tablets if you have high enough construction. Either get a butler to bring you soft clay or get it yourself (I've been doing 12x clay per trip going from my house to the mining area south of fally). I don't know how well they sell but I'm sure something can come of it.
  2. I read through a lot of this... I'm pretty sure Jagex will come up with something. Wouldn't it be in Jagex' best interest to set up a monitoring system? I think that whenever someone sells or buys a high profile item on GE (such as bandos / godswords etc), *something* should copy the last 3 minutes and next 3 minutes of chat (including clan chat) to determine if there is any 'questionable' activity. This is primarily similar to what happens when you report someone. I think Jagex can be clever in that respect. I'm not gonna steer this chat into a different direction but I'm sure Jagex has something up its sleeves
  3. I don't think any of it is gray. It's perfectly clear that one person is to use one account at one time. First of all, it doesn't make any difference what room you're in, how many computers you're using, or if you have three different browsers going at the same time on one computer. Jagex will know your IP address and will be able to confirm how many accounts are connected at one time. I'm pretty sure Jagex gets a flag when two accounts sign in with one IP address. From that point, I think they can determine if the person is using multiple accounts or if the accounts are being accessed by different people. I guess there is one question I should ask... is this P2P or F2P? In both cases, they can check if both accounts have matching passwords. If both accounts are P2P, they can look into the debit / credit card holder.
  4. I think the run button belonged on the overhead screen all along. Jagex made many graphical changes over the past two years, but only until recently did they include all three (HP, Prayer, Energy) on the front view. See, with all of that, we got a bar indicating how much run energy and prayer energy we have. Before, we had to press F2 to check our health and prayer and F4 to eat food, as well as pressing F6 to activate prayer spells... (or click the button). I'm grateful that I don't have to do that anymore (for the sake of looking). Furthermore, the run button was located (and still is located) in an area without a hotkey. Prayer has a hotkey [F6].
  5. With 10 hp? I don't think anyone would survive.. lol
  6. I don't think you're going to make a profit, so you should sell your bodies or whatever else you're making. If you want the magic xp, you'd be better off to use your nats and superheat while you're mining. This saves time especially if the bank is far away ;) And if you're gonna superheat steel, I'd bring 18 or more iron ore with you and just mine and superheat until you can do mithril.
  7. target practice lmao You get tickets that can be used to buy various things such as green d'hide armor and rune arrows
  8. We all feel noobish sometimes, here's an example You feel noobish if you... ...don't know RS shortcut keys Put some things that people might not actually know. I'm sure we all got a little noob in us.

QFT! They will say anything so they won't be beaten. Just ignore those morons. Ignore them and then you can kill them while they waste their time typing
  10. Assuming you have a hand free, you could also press F6... ...and (thankfully) prayer flashing no longer works.
  11. Oh, one thing about yew bows... Unless the price sky rocketed, I don't think it should be on F2P... Right now the yew bow costs around 668gp in GE. It high alcs for 768gp. We would probably have to see the yew bow climb to about 1400gp.
  12. Thats 334k of range xp there - most of which must be either through use of a cannon to avoid hitoints, OR he fixed walls in PC and put points towards range. Even if he did use a cannon - thats and awful lot of cballs! Range guild minigame
  13. Yeah, by no means do I believe this was true. Of course I don't feel like slacking ;) I just finished one clue in 11 minutes... :( damn do I need 50 construction. I think it's either based on complete randomness or there is some sort of queue-- IE queue 1 xxx treasure queue 2 xxx treasure.. If queue 1 has a god page in it, and you manage to finish it in time, then you get a god page.... ... Of course we don't know whats in the queue anyway so we might as well consider it random lol
  14. So I'm in the middle of a treasure trail and just did one about a minute or two ago. I'm doing level one clue scrolls to make my job easier (stealing from HAM). I'm curious about something... Let's say I'm able to complete a treasure trail in the fastest time possible- would I be more likely to get 'better' treasure [[for instance- god pages or magic ammy (t)]] Has anyone tested this? I'm thinking about testing this, so I have armed myself with 8 chocolate cakes (damage from HAM is limited and I'm too lazy to go to the bank more than once), spade, chart, sextant, and watch, as well as a games necklace and duel ring. Also got camelot, varrock, fally and ardounge teletabs.
  15. I had an epiphany! OK so it works like this- F2P An NPC (Let's call him Teddy the Teamster) will sell team insignias for F2P capes. Insignias cost 100gp each and are NOT TRADEABLE. The insignia will be bound to the person who bought them. So if you want to start your own team of 10 people, you must buy 10 insignias. If someone wants to be on your team, they must request assistance (and you must accept). For it to work, the person starting the team must have the insignias in his inventory. You also must have a cape in your inventory (if you're wearing it, how can he take it?). These will work for all and only all F2P capes. (Legends, Gods, and Normal) The insignia will be on and it will read Cape xxx (team: jirenma2001) The insignias can be removed, but-- but only removed. You don't get them back unless the leader of the team makes another one for you. If the leader wants to disband a team, he can do that as well, as long as he is not in a PKing Area (sounds fair right?) All of these features are the same in P2P. All other P2P capes must be made using construction / heraldry. My original idea works best with P2P P2P [hide=Click to expand] [/hide]
  16. SUPPORT This is how I would do it-- 1. Add a new feature to construction. 33 Construction - Cape Easel. Does the same as the Pluming stand, but adds the effect for capes 2. Use a cape on the Cape Easel in your house. Choose some sort of symbol, just like you would if you were making a banner (maybe include more symbols?)- Craft cape with symbol and it would look like this... Mouse over and it will look like this :: Fire Cape (team: jirenma2001) 3. Invite people to your house. Turn your request assistance on Somehow incorporate Request Assistance with this feature. --- So let's say you want to start a team with jirenma2001 You would go to his house and bring the cape you want to wear. Then you would need to request assistance from jirenma2001. He would decide whether to allow to make a cape for you... The result would be the same as above, with whatever cape you want to use. So the mouse over might be Spottier Cape (team: jirenma2001) I think there should be a limit and there should also be a toggle off switch in case you wanted to switch teams in the future. But to make things fare, you should only be able to toggle off the team on a non-PVP world. This does make it P2P however....
  17. Thats what I've been doing. btw- my goal is 75, or enough mithril bars to reach 75.
  18. Thanks, I overlooked that quest long ago and thought that I had to kill the fire giant lmao!
  19. I just want to reiterate- "unabuseable bugs"? I'm gonna quote Jagex here- "You must not use or attempt to use any cheats or errors which you find in our software. Any exploits which you find must be immediately reported to Jagex through Customer support" It goes on... "As long as you report the bug to us straight away, don't tell anyone else until we fix it, and don't use the bug any more, then you WON'T get in trouble. Indeed, we will be very reateful. If you don't tell us, or deliberately use it again and again, then you would be breaking the rule. Jagex does not use the world "unabuseable". They clearly state any exploits. This throws the neutrality argument out the window. A bug is a bug. I don't think Jagex differentiates those bugs that offer benefits and those bugs which don't. If they did, they probably wouldn't ban people who did this particular bug exploit. They decide, players just report. Now, lets say you see the bug, and you can perform the bug. That means you must go here: http://bugtracker-v4.runescape.com/index.html My understanding is that all forms of bug exploitation leads to trouble. If you can execute a bug, it's your obligation to report the bug on the bug report page (mentioned above). Failing to do so equivalent to practicing your ability to exploit the Runescape software. This is how people uncover MORE bugs and exploit the game.
  20. They're supposed to know about it. If you do [enter bug here] kind of bug, you're supposed to submit it to customer service under the help tab "Submit a Bug Report". Do this and poof! soon the bug will be gone.
  21. I am currently at 62 smithing. I don't have the money to do blast furnace at the moment but I have 1k nats. Should I just bring nats and smelt on site? Also I should mention I am a 10 hp skiller.. (with 62 range and 64 magic...)
  22. Before I ask.. what are you stats? If you plan on smithing, and you have more than 43 magic, I would recommend 1 nature rune for every bar you plan on making while you're in F2P. I go back and forth from P2P to F2P quite often and I stock up on 2k+ nature runes every time.
  23. I don't know if some items drop or rise because school starts, but this is definite- RS traffic picked up considerably during the month of June / July 08. From then on it tapered of, and it's at a different level. Obviously this is school vacation in the US. I saw someone post the website that monitors this kind of activity, but I don't know where it is atm. This could be all that is happening, and either the markets will stabilize or Jagex will do something to fix the problem kind of like the Feds do in the real world.
  24. I'm every strategic when it comes to these things. If I need a higher chance to hit, then I go with power ammy If I need to ensure a one hit kill, I'll go with str ammy. If I want my prayer to last for nearly 4 minutes, I'll go all out monk with a sara ammy Weapons are also an important choice here...
  25. At the least, have some variety. I'm sure some people like Postbag, and I'm not against it for any reason, I just think the god diaries was so classic, bringing it back would be like bringing RS back to it's roots. I'm going ahead with a petition. If you commented above this post I'm not counting it. Send a comment and start it off by saying YES... Like so--- I'll tally anyone who says YES at the top to avoid confusion
