  1. I doubt my guide will change much of anything, maybe a few people will start doing this, but definitely not enough people to change the entire market. In the meantime, I want to figure out if this is more efficient (Cause people are obsessed with efficiency nowadays) than Green D'Hide bodies, I also want to make the guide a little bit more readable, maybe adding a little bit of humor.
  2. They are the exact same speed, but most people think that barbarian is easier, personal preference really, except if you're not using summer pies, you should probably do gnome till 93 or so.
  3. You can alch and superheat at the same time. :ugeek:
  4. Real men do Superglass Make tbh. Pretty sure you can get 40k exp per hour, that's still not very good, only humidify if you need the jugs for wine.
  5. Sorry if this is considered hi-jacking your thread, but is the 500k the money you make or the profit. and if it is profit, then is that with buying the materials or collecting them yourself? Profit, and of course you buy the materials. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=806548 < clicky for my guide (Purely so the discussion doesn't stay here)
  6. -Plank make is somewhere in the region of 130k exp per hour, no idea about the loss. -Diamond bolt enchanting can make a profit if you buy at the right prices, and the exp is something like 110k, give or take 20k depending on how fast you do it. -Fire waving metals, you lose a lot of money unless you get lucky with drops or collect all the bones. -MTA, imho is outdated, best exp is onyx enchant, and I think it's like 80k exp per hour, so not much better than alching. -Superglass make is 30k exp per hour without mousekeys, if you do use mousekeys, it's 40k, give or take 5k depending on how fast you are. You usually make 500k gp per hour, and also 67k crafting exp per hour. Click intensive, but I believe it's more effecient than Green D'hide bodies for crafting (No SC). -I'm pretty sure charging air orbs is like 30k magic exp and 300k gp per hour, not bad but not good. -Humidify is a fail spell, unless you're humidifying jugs for wines. It's similar to Glassmake, but it makes less money and no crafting exp.
  7. You dont need to fail curse/stun now, you can just cast them at lumbridge dummies. With SC amour is around 72k per hour (40 min cast for 120k exp + 1hour minigame to recharge) Without is 100k per hour. Stand around where the range tutor is, and spam f4 -> click -> f4 -> click And dont forget the almighty wind striking spiders. Is that stun or curse? Have any rates for wind striking spiders? Stun. But as with other "clicking spells", there is no way to be accurate unless we are a bot / terminator. Btw, I use the assumption that the rate of "mousekey-able" spells (stun, alching noted items) are 1.1k per hour, while non-mousekey spells (plankmake, superheat, alching ruby rings) are 1k per hour and bank-cast-bank (superglass) spells are 600cast per hour. Not sure how people can get 8k per hour for wind striking. From my experience, it's an almost constant 7k exp per hour... Thats assume that you dont get kicked by the 6-hour rule, no randoms, unlimited runes. If I reverse calculate the auto cast rate, the cast time should be 2.8 sec. I dont recommand people wind strking under lumbridge basement, there are too many wanna-be-mods reporting you. If you have to use the lumbridge basement for some reason, do it right next to the bank chest. If you are going to wind striking anyways, make sure you invest in your kingdom so you dont have to play catch up for the money you have wasted. Max for alching is 1183 casts per hour, not sure about stun, but for auto casting, everything runs in ticks of .6 seconds, so the cast time couldn't be 2.8 seconds, it would have you be either 2.4 seconds, or 3 seconds. It's really difficult to say what the max casts per hour is for Superglass Make is, it's easier just to rely on averages. I mean, the max that I could see happening is 650 casts per hour, but nobody that I know has gotten that in an hour. It's safer to say 520 so people don't say "Amg I can't do that!!1!!". You also need to use mousekeys for superglass make, or you're looking at 350 casts per hour, lol.
  8. Eh, this isn't that easy to do, really click intensive, so hopefully not enough people will do it to make it less effective. When people still cut Yews for "Money", it shows that people like relaxing, even though at times this can make 700k an hour.
  9. Do you hate Crafting? Would you like to make a profit? Do you like withdrawing things from banks and then clicking on a spell icon? Well than this guide is for you! Continue reading to find out more about the exciting life of a Superglass Maker, no Doctorate required! Notice how I didn't use a single period in my introduction? [hide=What is Superglass Make?]Superglass Make is a spell in which you turn seaweed and sand into molten glass. Most people assume that you lose money because they don't count the extra glass you get, which is, on average, 4, and this is how you make your profit, and what a profit it is!.[/hide] [hide=Requirements]-Completion of Lunar Diplomacy -77 Magic -Full bank (Reccomended) -Basic knowledge of mousekeys (Significantly slower without mousekeys) -Decent pile of starting cash (Maybe 5-10mil at least)[/hide] [hide=Equipment/Inventory] Air staff is for unlimited air runes, and the ring of dueling is for getting to duel arena, which is better than castle wars for this, because sometimes you need to collect your sand and seaweed (Doesn't usually sell instantly) and castle wars doesn't have a regular banker where you can collect items from the Grand Exchange. Make sure you take all of your astrals and fires, so they don't have a placeholder and deposit when you hit deposit all. 26 spaces is for 13 sand and 13 seaweed.[/hide] [hide=Mousekeys]These are your mouse speed settings (Control panel > Mouse > Pointer Options): and these are your actual mousekeys settings (Control panel > Accessibility Options > Mouse > Settings): I actually like put the mouse speed (The first picture) one notch lower, as I'm more comfortable with the speed, and I end up landing on "Withrdaw x" less often.[/hide] [hide=How to use them]This is where it gets tricky, and this is also what most people don't know. You use the 2 and 8 keys on your number pad, and use your mouse for all the actual clicking, if you use your 5 button, you'll drag your items and overall it just works better if you use your mouse. Here are some pictures, you can see where my sand and seaweed is at, and how my bank is full(I use the Deposit all feature, you can go just as fast without it, but it makes it easier, and you'll mess up a lot without it), place your sand and seaweed near the deposit all feature. Right click on the sand and press down on 2, you should be at the 13, left click, DO NOT MOVE YOUR MOUSE Press 8 and you should be up at the Seaweed, right click, press down on the 2, you'll be on the "All" or "All but one" left click, and you have all the sand and seaweed you need, now exit out your bank. Click on the spell icon, and click on the bank while your character is moving his/her's arms down for the second time.[/hide] [hide=Tips and Tricks]-You can use StickyKeys so you don't always have to hold down the Control button -If you stand a few steps away from the bank and click to bank, and while you're walking click on the spell, you perform the spell and bank as soon as the spell finishes, this can help you with your timing -It takes 2.4 seconds to cast, banking time varies -Click on the deposit all button while your bank is still loading (i.e. when the screen freezes)[/hide] [hide=Further help (Videos)]My friend currently has two videos up about superglass make, if anything was unclear, you might wanna take a look at his videos, too. (This one is with commentary, more like a whole other guide) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qfp9eyqb8M&feature=channel_page (This one is just him performing the spell)[/hide]
  10. You should start the Gnome course 83-85 with summer pies, depending on how often you want to eat. Do ape till then, cause Dorg got nerfed and now ape is faster.
  11. Yeah, at the duel arena there are chests and there's a regular banker too, plus if you choose the right world there aren't many people, and there aren't many people's familiars to accidentally click on.
  12. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I never found it boring, but I reccomend to try it out yourself and see what you think (To whoever reads this).
  13. It's more than cheap, if you do it right, you'd probably make 100mil+ getting to 94ish mage (Obviously getting 99 crafting too). Superglass make is 35-45k mage exp per hour, and 65-75k crafting exp per hour. only if you can majorly pay attention, even with a 1 click bank it's waaaay lower than that for the average person Mousekeys are your friend  My friends guide is the most complete and accurate guide I've ever found on Superglass make, if you want, here it is:
  14. This video should explain most things, but I'll try and help a little bit more. There are a few things wrong with this, first, you get 10 crafting experience for each sand/seaweed combo used, so 130 crafting experience per cast, this doesn't change. You cannot get 26 molten glass in one cast, I'm pretty sure the maximum is 22, but that doesn't matter, because the average cast is 17 glass. If you're fast, you can get around 45k magic exp and 75k crafting exp per hour, and depending on prices, around 700k gp per hour (It can be a lot more or a lot less depending on prices).
  15. It's more than cheap, if you do it right, you'd probably make 100mil+ getting to 94ish mage (Obviously getting 99 crafting too). Superglass make is 35-45k mage exp per hour, and 65-75k crafting exp per hour.
  16. With 80's stats you could probably get 90k exp per hour max with void, 85k without, not sure about the profit, but you could probably get around 100k an hour if you pick up all of the ranarrs. You'd get a lot less exp if you don't pay attention a lot, messing up picking drops etc. Dust devils would be around 70k exp per hour + a combat familiar's exp, you'd probably get 200k an hour if you could sell your fire runes, more if you got a few half keys. Mighty Banshees would be around 80k per hour (10% strength) + combat familiar, and around 300k gp. Yeah, I know you didn't ask about mighty banshees, but they're actually pretty good.
  17. Yeah but thats the thing it can change without notice, so using that method to get a 99 for profit wouldn't be viable. He might end up losing money if the prices suddenly plummet or rise (depending whether you're buying your seeweed and sand). That's why you should have a decent amount of money, so you can buy sand and seaweed when it's low, and sell glass when it's normal/high, and so you're not desperate to sell your glass while it's low. To the OP, if you plan on doing superglass make at some point, I wouldn't buy seaweed about 220 and sand above 200, and I wouldn't sell glass under 450.
  18. Probably around 45k per hour if you mine and drop.
  19. FYI, Superglass make works best if you have a decent stack of cash from the beginning, so you can buy sand and seaweed while it's low and sell glass while it's high. You can make 700k per hour, 75k crafting exp per hour, and 45k magic exp doing superglass make if you're relatively fast, but the profit per hour changes a lot, a few months ago it lost money, lol. You also have to have 77 magic and have done Lunar Diplomacy.
  20. Do you know if Full Void Magic would be better than Ahrim's? I've got Full Melee, so it'd only take me about 2 hours to get the Magic helm.
  21. According to Zarfot's Mega Slayer Guide 4: with maxed stats, SGS, Piety and no banking during a slayer task, you can get 145 crimsons charms per hour (on average); 130 with Superhuman strength. Based on the specs you gave, I'm guessing you'll probably get 80% of that, so 116 or 104 crimson charms per hour seems reasonable. Best way to find out is timing it ... However, I don't think void melee is a good idea, since Waterfiends attack using both Ranged and Magic attacks... I think best outfit is Saradomin Sword + Karils and Neitiznot helm. Boosting prayers used depend on how much money per hour you can make. If you think you make a lot, use Piety, if not, use Superhuman strength (10% strength). Actually, Void is extremely effective because you Pray range, and Void has decent Magic bonus. As for 145, that is only if you have a Slayer mask, which obviously you can't use when you're not on the Slayer task. Even with maxed stats, I'd be amazed if I see anybody breaking the 120 mark without Slayer mask. (Probably possible with Dharoks) Also, this is with an SGS and Unicorn, and if you Piety, you'll have to bank, contrary to Zarfot's guide. On average, with maxed stats, Void, Piety, and a unicorn, you could get ~110-100 REALISTICALLY. More is possible. As I can't test how much lower stats get (I'm maxed :XD: ) I would estimate 60-70, but Waterfiends do give decent combat xp so expect to level if you're going to camp. This is just a guess, though... but it can't be too far off. Of course, this is completely determined which prayer you use. You could use none, 10% Strength, or Piety, which is what I personally use. Aasiwat did a video proving 120+ crimsons an hour, and he was in proselyte, it was pretty cool.
  22. I wondered who else knew about superglass make, but the max casts per hour is 560, so you should include that. Are you using mousekeys? I can easily manage 500 casts an hour including talking in a clan chat. If you want, my friend did a video on the fastest technique of superglass make. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qfp9eyqb8M Good guide too
  23. I know for a fact that Void stacks with the Salve amulet, at least the damage part, I'm not so sure about whether the accuracy stacks.
  24. I'm sitting at 1667 total, and I still have plenty of skills I could do for easy total levels. I have several stats in the 50's, but I just don't want to do them. The only reason I'd get farming up is to make it so I could get tears exp in Herblore. My friend recently became a member after getting a 1200 F2P total, and he's zoomed up to 1700 total, already
