Spending some cash
So thanks to everybody burning their money on herblore and selling all their items, to train during next weekend, the prices on a lot of items I have been looking at are going way down. I need to know what I should buy, what is most helpful and what is possibly going to rise after the 12th? Some items I am considering: Ranger boots (seems overpriced) Bandos GS Bandos Chest or Legs Zerker Ring Full Guthans (I hope to get 68 summoning soon) Full Veracs Archer's Ring Focus Sight DFS Any other suggestions? I want to get 99 ranging through slayer w/focus sight when I start playing again (about a month or two). I also want to train my defense through slayer also. Thanks for any help. EDIT- Added DFS to list

RuneScape - Needs changed or not?
I agree 100% with this. I want more quests like Summer's End, where you couldn't simply overpower the boss. The problem with this is people will start complaining a LOT! Their internet will be too slow, they will be physically disabled and unable to click quickly, etc, etc. This is what happened with the fire cape requirement for those Ice monsters. I loved the idea. People started coming up with every crazy excuse as to why they couldn't kill Jad. This is probably what will happen if another update like this comes out. I also say more damage reducing armor, like the spirit shields. They can't just raise the HP bar. They would have to deal with the same problems all over again later if they do.

Wakka's Mousekeys Guide! LEARN TO DROP TWICE AS FAST!
Ok. Finally got this to work "sorta" on a mac laptop. The problem is that I'm not getting any "jump". I have maximum speed at "fast" (highest it can go). When I press "2", it just moves down instead of "jumping" a certain distance. . . . Help?!

Double Xp Weekend
I'm going to flush the charms. See if I make 68 summoning. :-)

Summoning
You will want to use all of your blues as soon as possible to take full advantage of the 2.7x bonus. I would say do steel minotaurs first. Then crimson, green, and gold.

When to sell herbs from MTK
I have had 10 workers on herbs in MTK for about a month a half. I am currently taking a break from RS until AP tests. I have been getting on for a few minutes every other week and checking my kingdom. I was planning to accumulate all the herbs and fish and collect them all at once after APs. Now, with this 2.7 exp weekend coming, I presume all herb prices will skyrocket. Should I withdraw my herbs today and sell what I have so far? Should I wait until the actual week to sell them? Or will the price not rise that much and I may as well keep them in my kingdom for another 2 months? Thanks for the advice.

Summer's End Too Hard For Me ?
I did the quest with stats much worse than yours. So if you have a good internet connection and fast fingers. Yes. If you are talking about Corporeal Beast, no chance.

This one's for you, Sho!
Nice, took me a minute or two to get it. 10/10.

Mousekeys on a Mac?
Ok, I have unlocked my F9 key so it currently has no assignment. So am I supposed to make it click like the mouse? What is the point of mouse keys? Confused...

Mousekeys on a Mac?
I here that mousekeys are very useful. I've heard something about prayer switching at Jad being easier, cleaning herbs, etc. Can you tell me how to do this on a mac? Thanks for any help.

Godsword Requirements Too Low?
For the most powerful weapons in the game I think godsword requirements are too low. 75 is the highest requirement (I know PVP weapons) to wield a melee weapon. I think there should be a weapon with requirements something in the 85-90 range. The godsword should have been that weapon. Instead of a true high level weapon we now have level 100s and lower wielding Armadyl godswords. There is not enough respect for a godsword, making the requirements much higher would bring back the respect for the wielder and reduce the amount of, "OMGZZZ! A GODSWORD! CAN I BORROW IT? I GIVE U 5K!" All you really need to own a godsword is money. Now that Jagex has made godswords so powerful, they will have a very difficult time making a high level melee weapon in the 90s requirement range without it becoming overpowered (something most people complain about current godswords). As for the new updates with high level slayer requirements; I love them. I do not have a high slayer level, nor a high combat level. But I like it when Jagex makes something cool for people with high stats and ignore the noobs screaming, "I want one too!" Enough low level updates, more harder quests, more higher requirements, reward the people who have trained to high levels, and give us noobs something to train for.

Duradel and how to get there
Ok, thanks for the replies so quickly. I haven't done Lunar Diplomacy yet, (I know lame). And I haven't gotten Karamja gloves either. Stick with Zanaris? Or is Lunar Diplomacy something I just need to get done?

70+ magic
If you are going to keep slaying w/magic then I suggest you buy a hexcrest when the prices drop some. It will be very useful. Tbh, alching is the best boring way to level mage. I went from 66 to 75 quite quickly. I used a laptop and when our family watched a movie together I would mostly shut the screen and just keep clicking the whole time. Mage levels easy!

Duradel and how to get there
I have been using Chaldear for slayer for a while. I have used Duradel for my 10th tasks though. I hated him after getting an iron dragon task that took 3 hours without points to cancel. I have heard it is better to use Duradel for slayer xp + charms. I am willing to give it a shot again. I am wondering the best way to get to him. Usually I teleport to Ardy then take the ship, then the cart. This is a little time consuming. Are there any better options? Thanks for any help.

Slayer problem
If you don't want to cannon in Taverly kill them in CT for the charms. Super easy safes there as well.

Melee, Ranging, and Two Slight Diversions
Sweet guide. I will use it on my way to 99 ranging. Btw, like the song choice. I was surprised not to hear someone screaming their head off and having to turn the volume down lest my mother hear it. :-)

Where to... meet people?
Penguin searching w/other people on W60 is pretty fun.

Just got back
Check Tip.It's prayer guide on info about new prayers. I've heard the only really useful ones come at level 92 and 95 though.

Slayer Gear?
Fury, verac's skirt + torag's chest/bandos chest(overrated), zerker ring, prossy, whip, barrows gloves, rune defender. If you really want to spend the money then buy bandos. I would recommend spending it on skills or piety w/prossy though.

Manage Thy Kingdom - Earn 100k a day!
Great guide. 9/10. If you wanted to update it you should say that now herbs are the most profitable thanks to the high level herblore update. I read about 1/2 of your guide when I wanted to decide how much money I would profit from 16 weeks off of RS with 7.5M in my kingdom, and checking my kingdom every 14 days. I did a ton of calcuations only to find you did them all later in your guide! :-P I have put 10 workers on herbs and 5 on raw fish. For 16 weeks = 4.6M from raw fish and 16.8M from herbs + extra items (caskets, etc) = 22M profit! (close). 22M/16X7=196,500gp/day! Almost 200K per day! Thanks for the help!

While guthix sleeps
I loved that quest! Favorite quest so far. What room are you stuck on? I liked the challenge and don't really see why so many people struggle with it. Sorry, we're hijacking the topic. Tbh, I have only tried it twice as there was other stuff stressing me out at the time. I'm still at the first room with no fires lit. My games necklace, ring of duelling and hatchet (probably should invest in a dragon one although personally I don't see the millions of value in them :S) protect on death so getting back to my grave isn't a problem even though I typically avoid death in runescape like the plague. I took tuna potatoes and shark for food and was using the baths at Oo'glog. My problem is that I've never played any fast reaction video games. (I'm an adult player and totally missed the genre.) I get into the situation and panic and end up running into the attacks rather than away. As a friend of mine says: "1 rule: you panic, you die! lol". I know a few things, other than practice and patience that will help. I typically don't play on full-screen so need to get familiar with the controls and give myself more view of the area. I also didn't have sound at the time. I've read the differing opinions on whether it's best to collect all the kindling first and then light the fires, or whether you should just do one fire at a time.... idk which is going to work better for me, probably the former. It's waaaayyyy better to collect the kindling first and then set all the fires at once. I used a rune hatchet, sharks and super energy restores (hadn't done 'As a First Resort' yet, way harder w/potions). Keep the volume up and run the instant you hear the noise. I made the HUGE mistake of lighting the first fire before I could lit them all. Every time you light a fire his attacks get much more powerful and way faster (2x). I got into a nice cycle of just running around the edges of the room, not trying to get logs. Once I was OK with that I would start hitting a branch once, run. Hit a branch once, then run. You could attempt tanking the hits with saradomin brews but I don't suggest it. Once you have enough logs to light them all at once, either teleport out for more food, or if you have enough, begin laying them in the little fire pits (you cannot bank them). Run around the room, lay a log, repeat, repeat. If you die you will lose all your laid logs. Once all the pits are filled light them. Light one and run around the edges of the room once, lit another, run, light the last. GOOD LUCK! I died several times before I perfected my plan. The 2nd and 3rd rooms are easier imo. I didn't die on either.

cannon or black mask
Mask first. 15% attack and strength is HUGE! You only use cannon for a few tasks, and is very expensive because of the cannonballs.
