  1. Fantastic job winning in a 3v1 fight
  2. Lol'd at you leaving TWR just to embarrass yourself on the jagex cup  Troll Willy... trolll.... but then again it's Titans Revolution... some of their members told me they thought the beat Downfall in a 20 vs 20.... cuz u no "TR".. LOL :ohnoes: Yes troll willy troll, good work trolling someone who made it further in the Jagex Cup than you :-D Oh and hi yufei, how is LK doing? Did it survive long enough to take part in the Jagex Cup? Good on you, it must be thanks to your pro lead skillz
  3. Lol'd. Grats on the win TR and good luck in the semi finals
  4. You seem a little upset buddy..... THE wanting points on TWR??? DO you even know the TWR history for you to make such disrespectful and idiotic remark? Be happy they treated TR like a real clan. Not cool dude.,.. not cool.. :shame: I'm not upset at all, I'm smart enough to know that a clan with a 98 level average won't stand a chance against a clan with a 122 level average when I decided to go ahead in the spirit of good sportsmanship, we at TR do respect other clans. You on the other hand seem to be very extremely frustrated as demonstrated by your irrationally rude outburst, though I cannot imagine what could have caused you so much grief
  5. Congrats THE  Let me know when you need more points.
  6. Lmfao it's becoming pretty obvious that a certain amatuer noob on Tip.it is suffering from ADHD :D

  7. At this point teams are just too popular for a clan to ban their members from joining one. Like people have mentioned, you'd just end up with a ton of people leaving. Yeah, but at the same time if people are so upset about this, then you're going to have to start making those unpopular decisions at first. Someone's got to take the first step, except everyone seems to be terrified over how many members they might lose to do so. It makes arguing about this useless, albeit for different reasons than others feel it is useless. It's why I think this is part of the flock mentality. Clan A will block teams if they see Clan B/C/D/E/F/G/etc do it. God forbid they put themselves at a disadvantage for what they believe in. Because they want to preserve 'quality'. Firstly, I think its a growing notion that teams are a way to multi-clan. You should notice increasingly more and more topics related to this on different fan sites than ever before. When you are looking for larger clans for answers, you will not find it there. Since there are no teams as large as top clans, so there is no threat for them yet to take it into perspective. As I said in my previous post, it is relative. Moreover, when a large clan is involved in a team which is shared with many smaller clans, the larger clan benefits the most by absorbing new members even though the smaller clans benefit temporarily (strictly speaking when there are large difference of sizes with the clans involved) , and the smaller clans take the loss. Usually, no one notices the little man amongst giants. Its the little clans that make up the massive population in clanning world, although not involved so visibly on fan sites. Secondly, multiclanning is more of a tradition than a trend in its different forms. Even when old wildy was around, people sought to be in multiple clans. It was a sort of popularity status. It is when these clans clashed in wildy for a rank or recognition, that is where this tradition was stopped or prevented by ladders and ranking systems to create fair means of competition OR simply to avoid endless arguments and disputes. The newer ranking systems allow this sort of multi-clanning and their rules are more relaxed in this regard. The larger ranking systems have so massive and powerful clans that no teams of that size can exist in them to be able to compete... unless they are a country clan, which is (with reference to my previous post) a larger version of a team/ multi clanning group. The flock mentality as you call it stops or starts with widely accepted ranking systems and their enforcements. ^ Couldn't have said it better myself, you have touched on some valid points there but I will have to disagree with you on how ranking systems affect the tradition of multi-clanning. Although widely acknowledged ranking systems now allow players to multi-clan/team, I still believe the main proponent of multi-clanning lies not within ranking systems and their enforcements, but within the players themselves. Going back to the days of old wildy, there were players out there who took it upon themselves to multi-clan even though it was shunned by both their respective clans and the ranking systems in which they competed. Yes there may have been consequences, but apparently consequences can only control multi-clanning to a certain extent because it is quite evident in my mind that there will always be people who don't have the capacity to commit to a single clan, even if it means they will have to try and get away with it afterwards in order to avoid any possible consequences. On the other hand, there are also players who prefer to focus their efforts into a single clan instead of joining multiple clans/teams just because the ranking system in question allows them to. So the bottom line here is while ranking systems can tilt the favor for or against multi-clanning, the final decision always rests with the player. There will always be husbands who remain loyal to their wives even in the midst of constant temptation, and then there will always be another Jesse James who doesn't have the capacity to appreciate the beautiful academy award winning actress he was with. Even though there is no law against cheating on your partner, there are still people who will remain loyal. And if there was is a law against cheating on your partner, there are still going to be people who will cheat first and try to get away with it later. It's the same idea with multi-clanning, all I can do is stand here and try my best to convince people but as you have probably noticed, there are plenty of people on Tip.it like Jesse James and none of them appreciate my work. So just for your information, if you intend to oppose multi-clanning then this is the defendant's seat, multi-clanners/teamers are likely to troll and flame you all day long just like they did to me so be sure to choose your words carefully. And before I finish just let me say that it certainly has been a while since I have seen a spark of brilliance within an entire sea of dull minds. If you ever happen to come out of retirement and would like to get back into clanning please don't hesitate to send me a PM, either that or you can just click on my signature to be redirected to Titans Revolution forums. We don't pride ourselves with skilling 24/7 to attain max level, but with possessing one of the most intelligent, dynamic and interactive communities out there and I have a feeling you would fit right in. My name is Darth Malkor and our IRC channel is #titans-rev, I'm sure our members would be more than happy to hear from you
  8. To tell the truth we expected much more from LFJ, but then again I guess we need to stop listening to random comments made by the uninformed. Thanks for the clean fight LFJ, you guys put up a good fight despite a disadvantage in numbers. If at anytime you would like to do a capped or matched please feel free to visit our IRC channel @ #titans-rev
  9. I agree. We see everything from our individualistic point of view, most of people posted are in a team, they wont agree they multiclan. Teams are as good as a clan and does all the activity what a clan does, where's the difference? I think it's fruitless debating what's multi-clanning and what's not, every week a new topic about multi-clanning is posted on TWR and RSC, the presentation differs the matter is still the same. We know the problem but there is no remedy for it. And the only possible solution I can think off is too harsh too be implemented. You are absolutely right  Asking a community of teamers whether or not teaming should be considered multi-clanning is sort of like a cop asking a drug dealer if he deals drugs. This debate is totally pointless, asking teamers if teaming should be allowed is completely absurd.
  10. I'm not trying to make complaints about the clan staff, otherwise I would be PMing Das. What I am trying to do is highlight the favoritism and partial moderation where freedom of speech is selective in clans section. How? Of course no mods are in clans participating in TWR EVENTS. Those mods are in TEAMS and other groups which are controlled and governed by clans/teams participating IN TWR. So in essence, freedom of speech in TWR is controlled by the clans/teams who have volunteers in the clan staff and although the subtle influence is not easily seen, it can easily be felt. I understand that clan staff are volunteers, but volunteering to serve the Tip.it community is completely different from volunteering to serve their own respective teams, in which case favoritism and bias impacts upon the freedom of speech. Once again, I'm not trying to shame mods. My posts are only intended to describe how favoritism and partial moderation negatively impacts upon freedom of speech within TWR. If anyone still doesn't understand what I am trying to say, please let me know and I'll even illustrate the situation using a diagram.
  11. True, Loge leaving didn't change any Tip.it policies, but it did change the fashion in which your policies were maintained. Not trying to shame anyone here, so I'll just provide one of many simple examples from Tip.it forums. Source: http://forum.tip.it/topic/260126-twr-titans-revolution-vs-the-moriquendi/ Source: http://forum.tip.it/topic/229186-twr-information/ In this scenario either someone is being lazy or there is some obvious favoritism going on, both of which did not occur when Loge was around. I can show you a lot more examples, but like I said before I'm not trying to shame anyone, so I hope you can understand the point of my previous statements. There can be a variety of probable causes but from my experience, I'd attribute this to a lack of activity checks. As an admin you also have a responsibility to ensure every mod is fulfilling his/her role on the team, introducing a specific set of objectives for each mod and maintaining a strict deadline can help prevent such things from happening in the near future. Other methods include replacing mods who are constantly inactive or don't act in the best interest of the forum, but you shouldn't go there until you have exhausted your other options. In my opinion, what the mods need most is an active leader who can guide them, something which was lost when Loge departed. Anyway I hope you can understand what I am trying to say, you don't have to listen to me or take me seriously. You can just ignore me and hope everything will turn out fine, but the truth is more and more clans are leaving TWR and your the only one who can do something about it. This is your forum, your traffic, your choice. I'm merely giving you my genuine advice on the matter, so if you choose not to listen, don't say I never gave you anything.
  12. The reason people I am disliked by the multi-clanning/teaming trolls is because I always manage to effortlessly shut them up with a better argument everytime they have a go at the clan I represent. I don't know precisely why they trash talk my clan, maybe because it's not a team? Well I don't presume to know, but I do know that if they didn't trash talk my clan in the first place, I wouldn't have to put up defense and make them look stupid, and nobody would hate me. It appears someone needs a lesson on cause and effect. But don't take my word for it, just take a look for yourself several months down the track, I'm betting that even more clans will leave TWR. Tip.it just isn't what it used to be without Loge, the fair and mature community we took for granted doesn't exist anymore. It's funny how we never learn to appreciate anything until it's gone. Again, this is not intended to bash or flame bait anyone, I'm just stating my personal opinion based on my experiences on Tip.it.
  13. ^ I too believe we need more freedom of speech around here, especially for clans. I mean, has anyone seen any Tip.it clans lately? TWR has been shrinking ever since Loge packed his stuff and ran off, taking most of the civilized clans with him as what was supposed to be a CLAN war ranking become more of a TEAM community which eventually became more and more biased against clans. No wonder no new clans are joining, the very few which join probably won't stay too long either, TWR might as well mean Team War Rankings. But enough of what is happening to the Tip.it community, let's talk more about freedom of speech since much like the many clanners out there, I feel that I have been victimized on Tip.it for being an avid clan supporter. The team community (which is now the majority of TWR) feels they need to have a go at me just because I believe in the concept of commitment, like most of the other clanners out there. Everytime I make a topic, there hasn't been one instance where a player who is in 3 or 4 clans/teams hasn't taken the opportunity to talk trash my clan, often causing pages of needless spam. And when I finally manage to shut them up using a completely sound and logical argument, my post somehow disappears while the offensive insults from these players who are in over 3 clans/teams remain. The first time around, I thought it might have been a forum error or something so I wasted another 10 minutes of my life to retype my original argument in hopes that all the multi-clanners/teamers would stop trolling my clan. But instead I find myself in a very vulnerable position where even the mods are displaying signs of hostility, is it really fair to punish someone who is merely defending his/her own home from intruders? And it doesn't end there, even to this day I am treated like someone who isn't welcome on Tip.it just because I'm an avid clanner who doesn't like multi-clanning/teaming, am I not entitled to my own opinion? And let's not mention how difficult it was for me to get my CLAN into TWR, just because a certain individual convinced a certain moderator to impede my clan from entering TWR. No I'm not going to mention names, I'd like to avoid getting suspended and having to type this post all over again.
  14. Nothing to say really, otherwise I might cause the topic maker to rage again.
  15. Raped. Nice try Downfall, you did your very best. Congrats on the spectacular win Lgz
  16. Why on earth would I be mad? I always have evidence for my claims, your the one who can't back up your ridiculous statements. Having a conversation with you is like talking to my dog, except my dog is smart enough to know when to keep his trap shut. Anyway to get back on topic, Indianishere is correct to presume that most of the legit clans here are slumping. My theory was based on teams being the primary catalyst, but by the looks of things everybody obviously doesn't agree. That is fine in itself, I'm happy to fight off a community of flamers who can't handle the truth, especially since joining a legit clan is far beyond them. I say just remove all the teams from TWR, why would the same people under different Runeheads want a rank for the names of their teams anyway? It's not like they want be held responsible for anything, they probably don't even care about the image and stature of their team names, the people who do are in proper clans not random W141 style teams.
  17. @Andrew: Go take some English lessons before you try to act like you are intelligent, you either can't read or the words I am using are too complex for you to understand. I have proof to back up my statements, you have nothing to back up yours. And as they say, no pic = no proof. @Amateurnoob: Nice comeback, "broski" (whatever that means in your deranged version of english) @Dandaman: Great stuff, I never imagined that you would admit that trolls like yourself are indeed the problem. If people like you weren't trolling, I wouldn't need to put up a defense, and the trolls wouldn't get fed would they now? Anyway I'm going to be off for the rest of the day so see you all tomorrow, have fun trolling.
  18. You need to understand one thing, because I don't flame. I only defend myself should someone else flame me FIRST, the last time I checked acting in self defense is never a crime. You also need to check the validity of what I have said and what I will continue to say, because if you read them thoroughly enough you will find that they all true given my point of view. The reason my point of view is different from the majority of the Tip.it community is because I come from a clan environment, in which there are different expectations and codes of conduct. And I never flamed Downfall, I just defended my clan by revealing the several truths behind Downfall when Amatuernoob flamed my clan out of nowhere. I even have links to when Downfall asked us for CWA playoffs, would you like the links?
  19. When did I ever flame Tip.it itself? I only stated my personal opinion regarding teams, which some people on the staff board may have taken offense to and tried to barr us from TWR in an attempt to get back at us. If a mod did that then that mod wouldn't be doing his/her job and would in effect be discriminating against me for my view in support of more Tip.it clans, and if there is such a mod I do believe the admins will eventually find out. My posts were only aimed at bringing forth the truth of why TWR only has a few clans remaining and are not in anyway meant to offend anyone, if you disagree with my views then you can just ignore me. There is a big difference between being outspoken and having an attitude problem, learn to recognize the difference.
  20. That's an interesting claim I've never heard made before. Do you mean to say that teams get more points than clans? Or that teams get rule preferences? If so, I'd love to see some examples. To the best of my knowledge, this has never been the case, since the day Loge_05 himself proposed the rule that defined multiclanning on the TWR. I was not referring to rules or points, but to how long we had to wait for TWR approval. A team is usually added onto TWR within days, yet when our second official requested approval he was told to wait, wait and wait some more before you started ignoring him altogether. If that isn't called favouritism or discrimination what would you call it? It was a pity we had to involve an admin in all of this because things just take so long, the last time we came by TWR Loge managed to approve us with a day, while this time around it took about 2 weeks. I also recall that Tip.it had an interactive community of mixed level clans, I wonder what made all of them leave.
  21. ^ =D> This topic really deserves a bump since no action has been taken to remedy any of the issues mentioned. /facepalm We have the TICT Tourny '10 going on right now. You are correct; we are not going to inundate people with events, shindigs, etc. There's only so much that people can handle at once! :P Content for our site will be underway shortly, we're starting CD events, the tourney is underway, etc. As for changing the stigma that Tip.it is a CWA-only spot and inferior, I think everyone--not just the staff--are doing their best to change this. I see quite a few people posting night out topics, pvp fight topics, etc. We allow PvP as a method of fighting in all our events (TWR and TICT). Short of grabbing them by the head and shouting in their ear, there's not a lot of things that can be done to speed up this transition. Word of mouth is and always will be, however, the fastest and most effective way of changing the minds of the misinformed. :P I can't believe what you just said. Loge managed to handle everything in TWR back when he was around, why can't the current staff do half the job he was doing? I didn't appreciate him all that much when he was around, but now that I compare the TWR during his time to the TWR I see today, I'm really beginning to miss him. Comparing TWR to W141 CWA isn't a stigma, it's a widely accepted view amongst the top 10, all of which are real clans. If you really mean what you are saying, then you would be trying persuade the top 10 to come over and join TWR, even if it means creating a separate category for teams. But I really can't see that happening, especially now since there isn't another Loge on Tip.it. This ignorance is almost amusing, I do not see how the top clans are as misinformed as the team community here on Tip.it. Are you in a team or a clan?
  22. Whats happening to clans, particularly in TWR? Ever since TWR became team central, most clans left Tip.it. Let's face it, no legitimate clan with a committed member base is going to enjoy warring random teams of friends in a "W141 CWA" atmosphere, which is the reaction you will get if you mention TWR to any of the top clans. This infestation of teams doesn't leave the committed clanner much of an option, either get out of Tip.it and join a legitimate clan on Zybez OR become a random teamer like everyone else. You can imagine the effect this is having on the clan world, since most of the committed clanners are joining the Top 10, other clans don't stand much of a chance at surviving. I mean just take a look me, I am here to represent a legitimate clan here on TWR and look at the welcome I have received. I've been treated like a government inspector who just walked into a black market and am still waiting to receive approval into TWR. I wouldn't be surprised if the clan I represent is denied TWR access, it is blatantly obvious that TWR begun to display favoritism towards teams and discrimination against clans the moment Loge packed his bags and took off, I guess TWR clans shouldn't have taken him for granted. So you can understand why most legitimate clans don't appreciate the major team atmosphere here because it doesn't make clans feel welcome, however I also believe there are a real clans in TWR which are worth warring and that's the reason I am here. Is the formation of Teams having a impact on Clans? The formation of teams is detrimental to the very foundation of clans to say the least, why else would the head warlords of Divine Forces and The Titans disapprove of their members joining teams? More recently, why do you suppose BK would enforce the "No Teams allowed" rule? Think about it, why would one of the oldest clans on Runescape kick teamers when they already have their roots sown deep within the clan world? Nothing much to say really, the answer to this question pretty damn obvious. What can be a solution? A quote from this topic compliments of Lovelost: http://forum.tip.it/topic/229481-got-a-twr-related-questioncommentidea-post-it-here/page__st__80 Thats where our opinons differ [ for once] two wrongs don't make a right. The realility should be set in stone, one clan per person, on and off site. Teams can get fights without points, and if they really need to use points to badger a clan into fighting obviously they should be fighting someone at a higher level.
