  1. Unless you have void, which i doubt you do, then yes. Don't forget to get the best ranging stats for other areas. And an Ava's Accumulator would be a nice plus. But i doubt you done the quest for that.
  2. Emerald (e) then, the poison will help some, after it hits switch to either mithril or addy bolts. Depends on how much money you're willing to spend.
  3. Best ranging gear, rune c'bow, antidragon shield and broad bolts if you can use them. Bring ranging potions, anti-fire potions and maybe some food. Just make sure to stand back so you don't get meleed to death.
  4. Well if you're on a good team, and the rounds only last a small amount of time. I would just use your best offensive gear and use prayer. Just make sure to get the 50 damage you need. And if you die, don't worry as you won't lose anything.
  5. I use the exact same setup. Except i use the Mage Arena God cape, once i get a trimmed cape though i might use the Zamorak Hawk. Just pray magic and run towards the Zammy area. Just don't forget to pray.
  6. I thought you only got assigned those once you finished the quest? I only started it to get the rings and have yet to get them as tasks. And i believe they only lower the non-combat skills. Not sure tho as i never got them.
  7. Yup, just like with BA. Except the torso fails, unlike the rings which are actually useful.
  8. Well one sure way of getting herblore is to maybe grow the herbs from the seeds yourself? I know that if you sell the herbs you can make money, but sometimes the grimy ones sell for more then the clean ones. Either way this is a slow method and will take a very long time to grow all the herbs.
  9. The Warrior Ring (i) is like, imo, the fighter torso. Its only good if you have it. Other wise i wouldn't bother to get it unless you just love that mini-game. Now if you have both, the slash from the ring would be better then the str of the beserker ring. But if you dont have the warrior ring (i), then just spend the money on a beserker ring. All your other options for the ring spot suck.
  10. I don't think i quite have the level for a fire cape -.- Nah you have the levels. The min are 70 range and 43 prayer. The question though is, do you have the skill? *Insert music here* The only advantage to higher skills is to make it easier, but thats only a small amount. I tried 3 times and still haven't got it. But a Fire Cape isn't really needed, its just something nice to have.
  11. I second this, the mole is quite easy to kill. The only problem iss he likes to run around. But the drops are nice and it isn't that far from a bank. I think that it is the closest boss monster to a bank. The mole claws and skins are where the money can come from. It depends on what you can get from nests after you trade them in. KBD is also a good second to try and kill.
  12. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=65 These are made for a reason ;) It says magic reduces the amount of damage you'll take, but not all of it. And you will still need food.
  13. It was mention that you should get a Torso over a Barrows Body. I do not agree with this except for 2 reasons. 1) You enjoy playing Barbarian Assault, or 2) You already have the Torso. If any of those 2 apply to you then get the Torso, if not then just get the barrows body, or bandos if you can afford it. Also the SS will work just fine on gargoyles if you have one. Once you get stronger you won't even need it and can just use a whip on them.
  14. It would be nice to know what you're using now, and what you plan on doing. Like if you're going to cannon some taskss, how many u plan on praying on and those you might skip or block. If you don't have a Rune Defender yet, i would get it. If you are wearing a ring of wealth, either continue to wear it or get a Berserker/Warrior ring. I would do some more quests so you have a wider variety of tasks to choose from. Some quests give monsters some don't like to. You can look those up and decide to do them are not. Get the best RFD Gloves that you can. If you like to range, and want to range some tasks i would suggest you get the Void Ranger outfit. It helps out for slaying if you decide to range.
  15. You can use him if you like. Its up to you how you do it. You could do Sumona 1-9 and Duradel 10th. But that might take to long. I would use my points in order of... [*:2fg8310n]Slayer Helmet [*:2fg8310n]Blocking Tasks you don't like [*:2fg8310n]Ability to make Slayer Rings [*:2fg8310n]Ability to fletch Broad arrow/bolts [*:2fg8310n]Buying runes for Slayer Dart [*:2fg8310n]Have a nice pile to cancel any tasks that you don't want to do. The last 2 before last are debatable. I haven't bought the ability to fletch the bolts/arrows as i don't fletch. But if you plan on fletching those are 2 of the better ways to do so. The runes add up and you can make quite a bit from those along, not including what you can make on task. As for the slayer exp, that is just not worth it at all. In the time to get those points you easily made more to cover it, so its better to get money or to skip a task with those points.
  16. Well Sumona gives 12 points every task, and 60 on the 10th. Duradel gives 15 on every task and 75 on the 10th. I would suggest Duradel as his tasks also give more exp. Another alternative is to go to Mazchna (the Canafis Master) and do tasks 1-9 and then go to Duradel for the 10th task. Those tasks are all easy and can be done in a few minutes, then you get to the 10th task and get a nice amount without much work getting there. You also get 1 point per task from that master, so you get 84 points in 10 tasks.
  17. Well to kill them without having to worry about HP is a good thing. You can still cannon, but it will be very, very risky. [hide=CAUTION]Do I mention that it will be very risky[/hide] You can just use the Masked Earmuffs and get down there. I think it works like the Smokey Dungeon in that the smoke won't kill you, just leave you at 1 HP. So you can still cannon the Spectres, just wear the Masked Earmuffs and setup the cannon. Once you start to cannon put on the Nose Peg and just pray magic protection. But if you lag and end up logging out and prayer runs out. Prepare for the worse when you log back in. Now again, i am not to sure if you are able to do this again. You might want to get someone who has done it or known someone to have done it before you attempt it. It will be safer if you just kill them in the tower, but again it might be slower.
  18. Its not. Its a sliding scale. For 90s its 1 more then the level to make to trade in, 80s are 2 more then the level needed. So for the level 85 Swamp Titans you need 87 to trade it back for shards.
  19. You can either get to 83, camp SP Mages for boots. With that money you got from camping then you can go and use magic on Rock Lobs for charms to get summoning. It might increase the cost as you'll be spending the money on runes, then you'll need more for the seconds and shards. -OR- You can continues to 85, and camp demons for range exp and some money. Also trying to range mages isn't to advised as they have a very strong magic attack and unless you use prayers it can get nasty. Along with the exp and money you'll get some charms. I think the crimsons are like 1:3 for their drop rates. Not to sure buts it still pretty nice. Not as nice as waterfiends, but waterfiends don't have the ability to be range or the ability to drop a 2m+ item on 1 drop. -OR- I wouldn't though as i hear the charm drops are terrible and not that good. Anything i find that the creatures in the Slayer Cave drop mostly green charms while the ones in the tower seem to drop more of the wanted charms (Crimsons from Nechs and Demons, blues from Gargs). Also 85 slayer is a nice thing, but get prepared to get flamed from some people that hate campers. I hate campers but if you don't get in my way i won't mind. And if you ever happen to want to train slayer you'll be close to 99 with 85 rather then 83.
  20. But only Abyssal creatures can hold Pure Ess while crafting. All other Beasts of Burden can only hold items.
  21. Varrock West bank seems to be one of the best places as it is close to the GE if you need to get there. I'm not to sure about other places.
  22. That setup is fine. If you got the money maybe spend it on a God Cloak for a +3 prayer bonus. I would use the best RFD gloves as you're praying and don't need the healing from the Bracelet. As for the Defender vs Unholy Book, i would chose the Def. The faster kills make up for the small lack of prayer bonus. And you can easily pray flash them if you find that you need to. Unless of course you are cannoning a task, but i still keep to with what i said. Get the Slayer Helm as soon as you can. Once you get it use that plus a fury/glory for Spectres. Until then a nosepeg and Salve (e) works great.
  23. Remember that if you're not really rich, to block out those that are expensive to make. Recently i just did 79-88 and it cost me about 16m after trading back for shards. What i did was use all my Blue charms on Moss Titans, after that i used Gold on Barker Toads, Greens on Fruit Bats. I was able to make Swamp Titans after that, but lizards weren't selling so i just settled with making Granite Lobsters. The only difference between the 2 was about 200k more exp making Swamp Titans instead of G Lobs. But i still got to 88 so it worked out.
  24. and get ~7m extra defense exp? That just seems like a waste. Now if they were all the same i would say controlled, but since thats not the case i would just get eith 95 att/str or just straight 90-99 att.
  25. Some tasks that you can cannon might be more advised to not do so. Kalphites are a task you can cannon, but they are such terrible exp and a waste of time it would be better to just skip/block them all together. Dags you can cannon and get the task over with in ~20 mins. If you have the cash might as well use it, if not then you can rotate and cannon one task and then go pray them in the CT for the next and just repeat. Black Demons and Fire Giants are good to cannon if you're not that high of a combat and can't really take a beating. So ranging them in a safe spot and letting a cannon do must of the work is a good way to go about the task. The others that been mentioned are great to cannon.
