  1. im sorry for going OT but i dint know u could mage avansies and make cash, wat is ur set up and wat spell do u use? Read the guide in his sig.
  2. They call it summer inflation. The kids are out for summer break so they play RS. Things usually go up, then come back down then they go back up. Just time it right and you'll get a decent price. Also with pvp more money is coming into the game and more ppl are buying things.
  3. I thought the same but i went back and read the OP.
  4. If you wanna go by speed, wouldn't rune/dragon knives/darts be fastest? or the obby rings?
  5. Well first, go kick your brothers [wagon]. Next think about is it worth it to continue playing? Maybe give RS up if you're starting to find it boring. Just do other stuff, or try another game.
  6. From 76 to 80 attack you need 579,618 exp. That is about 173,902 HP exp. From 58 to 70 range you need 512,327 exp. That is about 153,713 HP Exp. Getting those levels you gain 327,615 HP exp. That'll get you to 76 HP. So unless you cannon some tasks you'll get 76 HP. But i don't see why that's a problem.
  7. 10% every 30 mins in a non-hotzone for a max of 40% in a non-hotzone. 25% every 30 mins in a hotzone for a max 100% in a hotzone. And yes it updates around the 30 min mark.
  8. i suggest you raise ur noncombat skills a LOT before any cb Ya thanks for nothing  OT: Either use a D scim and some decent armor, like barrows, or a whip and some bad armor, like rune. Then go kill green dragons to gain some money along with exp. Or go do some slayer. That way once you get 55 slayer it will help you when you train range. For range you should get a lot more money as the ammo can become costly. If you do slay and get 55 range you can use broad-tipped bolts. Same as addy bolts but cheaper. Wear the best d hides you can, red in your case, and go range things. I did fire giants until 70 and made some money from the drops.
  9. You can easily just train on control for the rest of your levels. Or you can just train them one at a time like i do, and most people i know. For me i just liked using a whip so i just got 99 attack first. Now i gotta train def with a whip, and i plan on using the SS to get 99 str.
  10. TBH i'd stick with the rune defender. Its the best shield for regular training. DFS is out of your price range, and you need to do a few quests to get the BSS, if you havent already. Now the obby shield has the same str bonus as def and provides a small def. Maybe try that?
  11. Nope, making platebodies are the best use for them. Make the best platebody you can at your level. So either make mith platebodies, or get your level up so you can. And using the SC Hamemrs isn't a bad idea either. Sure it uses the brawlers up faster, but you still get the same exp out of them. And i don't see a problem with that.
  12. That because you can do multiple mini-games to get items. You can get multiple fire capes. i think you can get multiple void items, im not to sure cuz i cant stand to do pc. I know you can't get multiple BA items. But all those items you have to either beat the fight caves or win a few games to get back. The god books are from a quest, and if you lose it you can get another one free of charge. Now place holders are fine and all. But why bother doing all that if you can just walk up there and get another one easily.
  13. Why spam threads when they got their answer already? I see most post of your are short sentenced and don't really help out any, if at all. OT: If you wanna make a little bit more money you can do GoP and just sell the water talismans you can get. That's once of the best money makers in F2P that i heard of. And you also get a small amount of RC exp while getting money to finance your smithing goals.
  14. Buy anchovies from the shop there. Buy x-amount, once you're done buying go sell on the ge for more money.
  15. Read your other post.
  16. The question was to raise both woodcutting and firemaking, in p2p. Rimmington is as good as any place, as it's not required to be close to a bank. Otherwise Catherby is suitable (close to a farming patches so you can farm on the side). That said, there's a bush patch in Rimmington. I would recommend getting fire gloves/boots (after All Fired Up, Beacon Network minigame), if you have the Quests and other requirements anyway. Those will give you 5% more experience as you burn logs. That said, Inferno Adze will automatically burn a third of the logs you cut, as you cut them. A Pyrelord familiar (summoning) will also give you more 2% more experience per log you burn. Also, if you have the level requirements, the maples North of Catherby (not North of Seers bank, but near Sinclair Manshion on the road to Relekka) are a good alternative. You get fire gloves and a flame ring from the quest. The pyrelord actually slows down how many logs you burn per hour. Faster to use just a tinderbox and the logs. Unless you don't mind it being slower burning, but a small increase to exp. And as for maples, if you have the Seers Headband you can also get a small increase in exp from cutting maples in seers.
  17. Then just use the Rune Def, it is the best shield out there. DFS isn't as good, and neither is the Obby Shield. But if you need defense use the latter 2.
  18. Yes, you're only allowed one of each god book at a time. Same with some items like the fighter torso and the like. But there is really no point in getting one because if you lose the one you got, it gets replaced for free.
  19. Well it can be used at Bandos, mainly if you're the tank for the group. Also has many uses for slayer, if you don't have a bunyip to use. Also good for doing Barrow runs.
  20. Hes talking about getting one of the same book. Not a different one. He wants to get 2 Unholy/Holy/Balance Books. But you're only allowed one. If you lose the one you have, you can simply go and get another one, of the same book. Hes wanting to know about this other way. This way allows you to get 2 of one book, which is a glitch.
  21. You can use the Whip+Rune Defender. I've done it and manage to get the task done. But it took a lot longer. Its best to either borrow a SS or ZS, or just use the Ancient Staff if you can't get either of those.
  22. I suggest slayer, doing that you will get 99 attack, defense, and the charms for 99 summoning. you will also get the money tobuy the 2nds and shards for 99 summ and have some let over for some other 99 skills. But train a skill that you like, if you want to kill then do what i suggested above. If you like to skill then go skill.
  23. ~ Troacctid's Woodcutting Guide ~ probably the best guide out there, should help you out some more.
  24. He says hes P2P in the title. But using a yew shortbow with iron arrows would be better. Especially if you kill the minotaurs in the SoS as they drop iron arrows to help you continue training. Just bring some food and wear what was said in the other post.
  25. I'd go with everyone else and just chops either Eucs, for profit and exp, or teaks for just the exp. Even though they are going up in price, they still are slow and have bad exp rates.
