tbh I've seen a lot of people using strike spells with full armour on. I guess they're afking xp ... ? :S The poisoning sounds like a bug, it never happened to me while using a bunyip&ranged.

Only about 140-200 games, depending on your level. :P It's worth it. You'd spend that time on smithing anyway though, so you're saving money. Not to mention there's a very low drop, and they sell almost instantly :thumbup:

Also try w60_penguins and riods2525 for penguin hunting. Same world.

Sure they are. I use them to make airs just because of all the elemental runes, air and water sell fastest, and it just takes too long to access the water altar.

Obby sword owns. If you get tired of traditional weapons, then try to borrow the Godswords from a friend. SGS is worth it, although not so much since the Enhanced Excalibur. Still though, if you pray on your tasks (which you should, at least 10% strength prayer), it's superior. Enough to cost 48m extra? Maybe not, but it's superior. Definitely try to borrow it. SS is not worth it. You could also try the Anchor if you're bored. How efficient is an Anchor? So an ss is only worth it for the hits, not the specs?

Since it's settled that it's possible (many thanks to you guys for the help too \) what weapon should I use? I'm not fond of using traditional weapons too often, so I get bored of a dragon scimitar and obby sword quite quickly. I'm playing around with obby weapons and barrow weapons. I do have enough to get an sgs, but I don't know if I should spend the rest of my gold on it. And how "worth it" would you think it is to use a ss for my tasks?

Is it possible to do within 6 weeks? I'm at about 9.65m xp in strength atm.

I'm not sure how it does, but trust me, as I trained at ZMI from 58-64, every lvl I got slightly better exp per trip. with zmi, higher rc lvl=higher lvl runes=higher xp per rune That's why I mentioned the level. And I was talking about normally crafting runes when I said "how exactly does experience increase with level?"

Stringing yew longs from 80-99 took me 140 hours. Cutting with SC knife is faster though.

Hitpoints look a little high, especially since you have prayer to boost your combat too. I would get higher ranged first if you plan to range/2h for kills :thumbsup:

Flesh crawlers are pretty good, but oftentimes they can become overcrowded. Hobgoblins on the little island off of the crafting guild are fast kills and they give pretty decent drops - but you're aiming at the limpwurt roots, which are a little over 1k each now.

Unless you're making double of some rune at a certain level, how exactly does experience increase with level? It only matters on your speed in getting there and back. At ZMI from level 63-64, I averaged about 17xp per pure essence.

tbh his defense is very close to mine, if anything the major thing to worry about it the 11 damage hits from ranged and the non-bouncing magic attacks. There are too some familiars at that level for healing too, which will help if only a little.

Yes cannon. It's well worth it. I wouldn't drink range pots though.
