Question about RS Game card
Derp. Sorry if this is in the wrong topic. Nowhere else seemed appropriate. Does anyone know how the RS Game cards work in conjunction with existing RS memberships? I have been a member since around 2005, but I would like to (don't hate me please) get the upcoming, promotional Katana item. My automatic membership for the month was just paid for, so I have 31 days left... if I bought the 90-day RS Game card, would it simply stop charging my debit/credit card for the next 90 days? Or would it just add on 90-days worth of credit to my account? If anything, I'm assuming I can just buy the card, log into my Account Management, cancel my reoccurring membership, and activate the card? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to have to resort to asking on the RSOF. :-w - Serpy

Training Thieving
Pyramid Plunder is pretty fun and good XP at almost all levels. What's more, the XP you gain increases along with your Thieving level, so it only gets better the more you train here! Check out the Tip.It activity guide for it if you're interested. (I would normally link you to it, but I'm posting from my phone, sorry.)

Farming help about trees needed
Just to add on to what Aslan has already said... <3: The basic rule-of-thumb for payments is: If the Cost of Payment is 10% or More than the Cost of Seed, you SHOULDN'T pay for it to be watched. As Aslan said, there is only a 1/10 (or 10%) chance of your tree dying, so it is often cheaper to just risk the tree dying and simply buy a new seed if needed. If you have unlocked the Scroll of life ability from Dungeoneering, it might even be slimmer odds than 10%. For example: MAPLE TREES: Cost of Seed: 33,800 GP Cost of Payment [1 Basket oranges (5)]: 2,095 GP 2,095 is Less than 10% of 33,800 (33,800 x 0.10 = 3,380 GP) so you SHOULD pay to watch Maples. YEW TREES: Cost of Seed: 82,100 GP Cost of Payment [10 Cactus spines]: 65,310 GP (10 x 6,531 GP per spine) 65,310 is More than 10% of 82,100 (33,800 x 0.10 = 8,210 GP) so you SHOULDN'T pay to watch Yews. On a final note, (and this is just from personal experience) if you ARE paying for a farmer to watch after your trees, you really don't need to bother Supercomposting/Fertile Soiling them, as this is just a waste of compost/runes. I would only Supercompost/Fertile Soil your trees if you opt out of paying the farmer to watch them.

Farming help about trees needed
On that note, are you familiar with the rule/guidelines on when to pay for a farmer to watch over your crops, versus when it isn't worth it?

The farming timer is also slowed down slightly when you are logged out.
-
Farming help about trees needed
Are you paying for the farmer to watch after your tree? If so, what's probably happening is, your fruit tree is getting diseased and set back a growth cycle. The farmer cures the disease for you, but it still will take longer to grow than normal. Supercompost does reduce the chance of plants (including trees) becoming diseased, but the farming timers can still get reset/set back because of it. (Sorry if this is confusing, tired at the moment! D: )

I strongly oppose removing Edgeville while still keeping Daemonheim and the Grand Exchange as off-limit areas. A large portion of active TIFers do not hang out at Daemonheim, and a fair few of us do not even play or enjoy Dungeoneering all that often. I can tell you from first-hand experience, as someone who does not actively do Dungoneering or hang out at the Daemonheim area/bank, there are A LOT of TIFers who still hang out at Edgeville bank. Whenever I am there, it's almost guaranteed that I see at least one or two familiar TIFers. (I'm aware no one actually said this, not trying to put words into anyone's mouth) I think it's unfair to say "Well, since we all hang out at Daemonheim you can't snipe us here... but we can snipe you at Edgeville because none of us hang out there." Edgeville has long been the unofficial "central hub" for TIFers, and while I think it is definitely warranted to add Daemonheim, I don't think this means that we should just chuck Edgeville out of the water considering the history it has with TIFers. /two cents
