Okay, I did this quest a week or so ago, and here's how I did it: There are two guards patrolling the upper level (up the trellises). It helps to log in/out so that they are synchronized and not off as they will be if one catches you several times. Go climb up the trellis. If they catch you there it's just bad luck, try again after counting slowly to 30. If you spin the camera so you see into the mansion and they're not out on the porch, run and stand next to the inner wall (to one side of the door) so that they can't spot you at an angle. Wait for them to walk not just back out of the hallway, but back to the center room! After they're there, run to the bedroom, open the door, and run in and OFF TO ONE SIDE so that they don't see you when they return to the hallway. Close the door. Catch the rats in there. Wait for them to be back in the center room, then run across the hallway to the other door. Open it, go through, and OFF TO ONE SIDE so they can't spot you at the angle again. Once you can safely do so, shut the door and kill the rats. To get to the kitchen (downstairs) be standing in the left-hand room when facing into the house (patio at the bottom of the screen). Wait for the guards to BOTH GO OUTSIDE ONTO THE PATIO (otherwise you'll be spotted, took me a while to realize this), then run south through the house into the room with the ladder down. You can relax in here and take the ladder down, it plops you into the kitchen with all the remaining rats. Good luck!

If you're paying farmers with them, remember that farmers take noted items!

You should have no problem with demon slayer (with silverlight, he seriously dies in ~2 hits). Dragon slayer puts you against a level 79, so you might want to keep training for that one. Players have done it in iron armor with combat levels in the 40s so it's not terribly difficult though.

When you first enter, as long as you don't step, you shouldn't be caught. Or do you mean climbing the trellis in the back into the castle itself? The guards move in proscribed patterns, it wasn't too hard for me to figure out.

The best tactic would be to use a scimmy or dagger and switch out a 2h or Baxe for the kill . . . but really they're both about equal if you're one-iteming it. Unless you've got way high strength, they'll probably be too slow to stop your opponent from eating to heal.

Pyramid Plunder really isn't worth it at 35ish thieving . . better to wait till at least above 50.

Yes, an accumulator is invaluable for training range in general, getting free steel arrows, and it's got a decent range bonus to boot. Get one asap.

You steal silk in Ardougne, not in Al Kharid. Stalls are nice because they respawn fast and the items can be easily dropped. Also, you're not guaranteed to take damage if you fail. At 45-ish, you may wish to switch to masterfarmers in Draynor. They provide lots of nice seeds, a chance at herb seeds, and they're quite fast, especially with gloves of silence.

Nope. In order to get a Guthix owl to hatch, for example, you can't OWN a zamorak hawk (except as an unhatched egg). Only one god bird at a time, just like only one god cape at a time.

The gorilla took forever for me too. Stand RIGHT next to the altar, keep on meleeing with melee protect on, and just turn around to recharge prayer whenever it's needed. They'll die eventually. If you're having problems with the ninja gree-gree, just go kill one of the archer monkeys on the platforms scattered around the village. They die very easily and can be melee'd. Smaller looking result, but it works for the quest (that's how I did it).

For hunter, start off with bird traps. The feathers are nice if you decide to fletch anything, or they can be crafted into headdresses by being used with a coif. Once you've got to deadfall traps, switch to those immediately! With just an axe and knife in your inventory, you can stay there as long as you can handle before you're dying of boredom. Stick with deadfall traps until you can get to salamanders. At 43, you can do falconry! This is very fast for gaining levels up to about 53 or so. Bring 500 gp to the woodland area and do this, dropping the hides/burying the bones. It's faster than salamanders in my opinion, although some people will argue and debate that. At 53 you can switch to grey chins if you want to turn a profit, or stick with falconry/salamanders for faster experience. Up to you at this point; that should take you to 61.

He can't do pure essence; he's f2p.

If you just want this for Swan Song, go with Troacctid's idea. You only need 66 magic to get into the guild in Yanille to talk to one npc, and once you've gone in you won't be kicked out unless you log out. Basically, spending 700 gp on a potion of which you only need one sip would be much easier.

The task is to craft 196 airs AT ONCE. I doubt that it can be assisted, but can't confirm for sure.

It's buying plain pizzas and cooked anchovies and combining them to make anchovy pizzas, then selling the made anchovy pizzas. All done at the GE.
-
Keep in mind that if you haven't done Smoking Kills in the first place, you can Burthorpe as many tasks as you want without penalty, since there are no points or bonuses to get. That way you can quickly get slayer up by skipping any annoying tasks without consequence.

YES. Not only do they boost your farming, but they're the reward for A Fairy Tale, Pt. 1, which is necessary for A Fairy Tale, Pt. 2, which gives you the fairy rings for transportation! You should do teh quest purely for the fairy rings, and consider the secateurs a very nice bonus.
-
Unfortunately, you need to complete the easier diaries in order to get the rewards from the medium ones.

Tip.it chat is called "hyt", player name is Forsakenmage.
-
90% sure you don't get experience, similar to random combat events.
-
Sorry, don't know the chins/hour (not high enough for them quite yet  ) But yes, it is dependent upon your hunter level. Higher level = more chins, which is why even invisible boosts from summoning familiars can be useful.

I went in with clan chat on, so at first I didn't see the creepy messages that popped up. I only noticed them after I first talked to the dwarves, and immediately turned off clan chat in delight so that I could see them all. I also like spiders, so I didn't have any problem with the cave. I might be in the minority as a nature lover though. Seriously, that was a freakin' hard quest, and I loved it. Except the agility obstacles. I went in there with about 24 swordies, figuring that it would be plenty to get me through without having to go back, combined with my 51 agility. Not true. I made it finally to Iban with only 1 swordie left. I thought about going out to restock, then decided "screw it, I'm gonna go for it! Tentacles be darned!" And I run through, dump the doll in the well, and don't get hit a single time. Go figure, huh? I'm pretty sure I lost close to 300 or 400 hp total due to those [bleep]ing bridges though. I'm not looking forward to Regicide at all.

Cannonballs are 1/2 experience, so that's actually about the slowest method you could pick.

Stealing Creation proto-tool.

Elegant clothing and a top hat. Or a party hat, once you can afford to upgrade
