  1. True, but it's slightly slower than the other skills because you have to click twice for each log (once on log, once on tinderbox), unlike fletching, where you only have to click three times per inventory (once on logs, once on knife, once to select "All").
  2. Translated, that says: I'd just do the quests, it's definitely worth it if you're going to be doing a lot of clues. I did all the quests necessary for clues and Regicide is a good quest to do. Definitely worth it. You're welcome!
  3. Yes, they do lose value over time. Item prices tend to go up slightly as more money is introduced . . . of course, at the level of 98 mil, it won't be worth much less. Still, it's just sitting there, and money doesn't show up on your stats screen! Save it from being stolen if you're hacked by using it to get some skills up. Raise runecrafting and smithing, thus turning easily lost or stolen money into solid, un-erasable skill experience!
  4. Keep it in your bank, get the other half once you've got the money (buy it from legends guild), and once you've got both halves, simply wear it as a status symbol while you're alching something or doing some non-combat task. Really not much other use for it.
  5. No, you couldn't have. You have to go back to the mainland to talk to the gnome king to complete the quest, and you have to go start the RFD section in Lumbridge castle before heading off to ape atoll.
  6. You can't re-enter the seers house and get the items back? I'm pretty sure that they respawn . . . if not, try talking to the seer again.
  7. Yep. You have to be high enough to make it into the runescape high scores (which is where they come from), so you need at least level 30 and I believe to be in the top couple million players.
  8. Just in case you come back here to check, you have to do a couple steps for it. First examine the clue, and it will tell you to go to the observatory. Go there, do a simple mini-quest, and you'll get a sextant, watch, and chart. Use the sextant in various places to find your coordinates, and move in the appropriate direction. Be sure to have all three items, the clue, and a shovel in your inventory!
  9. Those are really your two choices. Pick your poison. The ones in the chaos tunnels are nice because they drop more charms, though.
  10. The "ticks" you're thinking of are the farming update intervals. These occur every five minutes, and after a certain number of ticks a plant will grow to the next stage. For flowers, for example, they grow a stage every tick. This means that if you put it in the ground right before a tick it will immediately sprout to the next stage of growth, while if you put it in just after a tick it will take an extra five minutes or so to grow. Also, if a tree gets diseased, it will take longer to grow. That could account for one of them, but probably not all four. Just check in a day later.
  11. Split it between magic, crafting, possibly runecrafting, and smithing. Also, consider buying a present for yourself for earning that much money. Wow, that's a lot. Maybe buy yourself a nice treasure trail reward, some trimmed armor, or a holiday item to prance around in and feel pretty while you're training.
  12. Pirate implings can be found across runescape. I've seen them all over. You just have to do the Rocking Out quest to be able to catch them, I think.

That guide is outdated, yes, prices have dropped considerably on the items in it. A good way to get junk is just to power-fletch at a one-click bank and keep the unstrung bows. A few thousand of them adds up, and they're incredibly fast.
  14. Hey, if you're using the Lumbridge Explorer's ring to do it, it's a free low alchemy's worth of magic experience!
  15. It alchs for 0, just like quest items.
  16. Awesome, I got the idea perfectly. Two more questions: 1. Anyone know the street price of a top hat? (I'll go look it up in the RSOF, but if you happen to know it, or want to buy, just let me know) 2. Where do I sell it? What world, where in there, etc. Thanks for all your help, Dragoon Z2
  17. Hello everyone, I just got a top hat because someone sold it to me for 250k :D :D :D Now, I know that the street price of them is much higher than 250k (about 2 mil, I think I've heard). So does this mean that I get a whole lot of junk that adds up to about 1.75 mil to put in with the top hat for when I trade? And second, where do I sell this? Which world, and where in that world? This is the first time I've ever gone with this new "junk and street prices" thing, so hit me with the advice! Thanks in advance, Dragoon Z2
  18. Buy essence for runecrafting. Craft natures if you want to even make a profit with it! Also, consider buying a bunch of lower levelled trees (oaks and willow seeds). They can provide some nice, big-burst farming experience if planted daily.
  19. Bronze is the most efficient in saving money and getting good experience. Iron and black really aren't worth the extra price.
  20. I'm 90% sure the boost is invisible . . . This means that your actual level won't be increased, you'll just do better at catching things. No higher-level traps, sorry.
  21. They're ranged only, and he doesn't have the 70 range level minimum to do them. Please read through the thread before posting.
  22. You need 55 slayer, but not Smoking Kills, for broad bolts. Get it asap. As Sindarin said, use knives to get up to a rune crossbow. If you don't want to go smith knives (it provides nice smithing experience, especially with the morphic tool boost from Stealing Creation), then get a Dorgeshuun Bone crossbow. Bolts will cost you 2 gp each off the GE, making it stupidly cheap to use.
  23. If you plant your own at gnome stronghold then it's very good.
  24. Have you completed your 6th task? If not, you won't have any points. Are you counting a task STARTED before Smoking Kills as one of these six? If so, I don't believe that one counts either.
  25. Erm, there are really many better sources of cash and experience than ankous. They're decent for non-members, but they're really below cockroaches even for them. And pinkeye is from a bacterium, not from staring at a pink screen. It's a joke
