Now that I'm positive it's legal, is it actually useful? I tend to have tip.it tabbed on my browser anyway so I can click back and forth on repetitive/afk-able tasks . . . is the minihelper actually more useful? Testimonials from anyone who uses it? Anyone? :thumbup: :thumbdown:

I'm considering buying a black mask, and I want to be sure that I'm clear on this first. They have up to 10 magical charges, but the +15% bonus to attack and strength on slayer assignments will persist AFTER these charges have been expended, correct? Just want to be sure I'm not wasting 500k on something that will be useless once it runs out of charges. Thanks!

Farming is very cheap to start. If you can pickpocket masterfarmers, you can earn tons of seeds that way. If not, most of the basic, low-level seeds are insanely cheap. Just bind a farming amulet to patches (purchaseable at any farming store) and constantly cycle crops for decently fast leveling. It's good if you're doing other things as well to fill the time.

Everyone doing the headbang emote simultaneously in a block would be pretty awesome to see.

Yes, sure, but what's it DO? Is it damage only? Does it lower stats? That's what I'm curious about. The Tip.it guides don't give any details on the spells' effects.

Did you take Lucien's side? Or did you go against him? It seems that no one who helped Lucien gain the staff gets a message, probably because the Guardians wouldn't want anything to do with you.

I just hit 60 magic and I am setting off for the arena! However, I have heard that the god spells (Saradomin Strike, Claws of Guthix, Flames of Zamorak) have secondary effects besides dealing damage. I still haven't decided which god spell I will choose, so could someone give me more information on these secondary facts? I heard, for example, that Saradomin Strike lowers prayer levels. By how much? And I assume this is only useful against human-controlled players? Thanks in advance! -Dragoon Z2

Bow string + Achey logs + wolf bones is for the COMPOSITE bow, which you learn to make in the "Zogre Flesh Eaters" quest. I know of no way to make an original ogre bow again, although you may be able to buy them from other players / the Ugglug store unlocked after the "Zogre Flesh Eaters" quest.

It depends on whether you're doing it for the respect of others or to have an accomplishment that you're proud of. If you're doing it for others, then sure, a lot of the capes are looked down on as "not worthy" (because people are elitist and hold everyone else to standards unreasonably higher than their own). But if you're doing it for yourself, then earning 13 million exp in ANY skill is pretty amazing. Who cares what anyone else says, you did it and succeeded in your own goal. :thumbsup:

I remember that too, but I think that I've changed more than the game has. I still sometimes wander around instead of devoting hours to skilling. A chompy bird here, a sword smithed here, some mining, some random exploring and examining objects, fishing - it's all in your mind. If you take a break from your skill raising every now and then and just enjoy everything you can do, it's still a lot of fun.

What's the effect on smithing? I didn't know there was one.

Did you finish the quest? If so, you could go do Zogre Flesh eaters for a composite ogre bow . . .

If you're wcing on a PvP world, you should be ready for the risks. Besides, it's not like you're gaining much - multiple people can cut one tree, if you haven't noticed. Same with fishing skillers. Possibly mining on a PvP world might make sense . . . :?

Pull up the task manager on your computer (ctrl+alt+del), go to the "Processes" tab, and see what's eating up all your CPU cycles. WARNING: Don't monkey around with the processes in there unless you KNOW what they're doing. If you kill something that's necessary for your computer to run, you can get all sorts of problems. But if you've got iTunes or something using 35% of your CPU cycles, turning it off might help cut down on lag.

Construction really isn't profitable. More of the opposite, really. Agility is a nice skill to have at 99, though - 2.5 seconds for a run recharge is NOTHING. I wish I had it =P~
