Under "Treasure Trails" on the main site, go to Coordinates, then there's a link to "List of coordinates in text mode". Just use those, they work great. Be sure you've got the sextant, watch, and chart in your inventory when digging, though!

If you're a member, head over to the Sinclair Mansion (members Murder Mystery Quest, north of Camelot). There's a barrel full of flour in there, which can provide an unlimited number of pots of flour. It's faster to bank if you've got a lot of banked pots than actually going through the process of making the flour in a mill.

92 firemaking = inferno adze. It's a dragon wc axe + a rune pick combined, that burns about 33% of the logs you cut. It's obtainable through the beacon lighting minigame and can only be wielded with 92 firemaking.

How to buy a 99 skill: 1. Figure out how much exp you need until 99 (don't ask us, go use the tip.it skill calculators) 2. Look at all the items you can make and see how many of them it will take to get to 99 in that skill (again, use the calculator.) 3. Go onto the G.E. and see how much it would cost to buy that many supplies to make whatever item. 4. Get lots of money and buy them all, then get yourself prepared for many hours of repetitive grinding. Example: I'm 74 firemaking. I recently decided to buy 92 firemaking. I found out that I'd need about 40,975 maple logs, which were 36 gp each in the G.E. I bought them all for about 1.45 mill, and am now going insane with boredom burning them in lines. Buyable skills include smithing (horrendously expensive), magic, firemaking, cooking, fletching, and crafting. All of these are buyable because as long as you have the (tradeable) supplies, you can quickly get a constant stream of experience in them, broken only by the bank runs. EDIT: /agreee, please don't spam the forum. You can wait a few hours for a response, you don't need instant gratification.

What do you want to spend it on? Skilling? Item upgrades? You're not being very clear here.

Req assist means that you use THEIR stats (yours don't matter at all), and they get the exp for it.

It's true that nowdays simply chatting for 2 minutes leads to people trying to add you and constantly talk. Then again, a guy who added me after chatting for a couple minutes helped me out by loaning me a d axe for 24 hours 4 days in a row for free . . . sometimes if you're nice you'll be rewarded. And there's a simple solution to all those who feel that they must call you a noob (as if that's an insult coming from someone thirty levels lower than me!): ignore list.

An example on the tip.it forums, no less. BTW, I started when I was young and probably somewhat immature, but now I'm older, coming back to Runescape (college ftw! Waay too much free time), and I'm noticing the same thing. I used to think as a f2p'er that it was just because it was f2p, but now I'm seeing lots of immaturity on the members' servers too, now that i'm p2p. I try to break the mold, though! I am always friendly, talkative, and try to provide helpful advice to anyone who needs it. Still, it's like trying to empty the ocean with a thimble at times.
-
HOLD ON!! There's a post a little lower down on the page about f2p'ers who have destroyed their brooms and find that it DOES NOT get recovered with Diango. Apparently since it's for the quest that is now p2p, it can't be recovered by f2p'ers.

Isn't that the Law altar? :o Yeah, that's the law altar.
-
Yeah, but 20k points for a new one is nothing. That's seriously only like a third of a game.
-
That air runes tip is actually really ingenious, I'm going to have to start doing that!
-
I bet the conversation at Jagex went something like this: Lackey: Hey, do we let the free players keep the broom after we take out the holiday quest? Designer: Hmm . . . I'm not sure . . . Forum Mod: No way! All they've been doing is complaining about how it's useless, doesn't let them ride it, and how they don't have enough bank space. Designer: Well then, we'll make it so they can destroy it if they want and get an extra free bank space. Everyone wins, right?

You need to complete the Barbarian Firemaking mini-quest in order to gain access to the whirlpool, and thus mithril dragons.
-
Gold amulets are useless. No one buys them. They could possibly be used in junk trades if you made insane amounts of them, but they're not particularly valuable either.
-
I'm just indicating that the Obsidian Cape is the cape that's purchased, not the Fire cape itself.
-
You don't buy it - you do the minigame for it. The expensive one you might be thinking of is the Obsidian cape. Fire cape has the animation, obby cape is black plates with a red fringe.

Okay, so I got some SC armor, and I wanted to just leave it on melee so that I'd look awesome walking around covered in [bleep]es. But now I'm finding that even when it's just sitting in my inventory, it randomly changes to other types! And it uses up charges in doing so, which I DON'T want to do? Am I accidentally causing this, is it a bug, or is this the "degrading" that Jagex put in? Because if it's the last option, it will be really inconvenient in battles. Especially since my scimitar just changed to a bow WHILE I WAS WIELDING IT. Anyone else having this problem and know if they're going to fix it?
-
First off, it's Stealing Creation, not Stealing Society. That sounds more like a den of pickpockets and muggers. Second, as far as I've seen so far, it's just the charges, not the actual armor that degrades. Each piece has 10 morphs (charges), and it seems to me like they simply need to be recharged after that's gone to 0.
-
Range armor is crafting, I'm fairly sure. Bows and arrows are fletching. The plate armor is smithing (duh). Not sure yet on the others.
-
It's not in the Tip.it database yet . . . but go to the general discussion forum and read the thread on the Stealing Creation update.
-
Well, you get 100 uses per morph, and 10 morphs. So that's 1000 uses if you use it all on one skill (constantly morphing it into the wc axe, for example). Anyway, the mining boosts seem to be broken at the moment (no boost at all for coal, but boosts for rune essence? Slow as a bronze pick? Wtf?) For woodcutting, the latest numbers I've heard have been about ~49% increase in exp per log. So, you'd be getting about 1.5x normal experience for 1000 logs. Sure, they decay, but considering that it only takes one even badly-played round to earn enough for a tool (seriously, I generally earn 50k-90k points per round, that will buy me almost four on average!), it could be worth it on high-level, slow logs.
-
Cannonballs only give you half the exp per bar, so they drag on forever.
-
Yeah, but then once it's back in its basic form can you use it for a different skill, or must you go get a new one?
-
Wait a minute. With the morphic tool, do you get 100 uses TOTAL, or 100 uses for EACH SKILL? That is, 100 bars as hammer + 100 logs as fletching knife + 100 sharks as harpoon, etc.?
