  1. Got 120m sitting in my bank, so I bought 85 prayer. Good fight 34m.
  2. Ok, some things I've done in past couple of days: Got bored of 3a melee so sold it all max, around 10-15m profit overall Bought some stuff incl. bandos and dfs Got some summon levels: His name shall be "Felix". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcxKIJTb3Hg
  3. Agreed. PvPers are a very small minority in the entire population, but (for some reason) Jagex seems to be going out of their way to please them. It annoys me to no end. You think they'd be happy that they have an opportunity to hit higher, more accurate, and use special attack quicker, but instead they complain because it's "to hard". Yet they'll go camp at bandits for 99 str to get that extra hit or 2 as opposed to 90, and they'll go sit at gwd for months to save up for an ags and tassets. But they can't get the money for 80-90 herblore or whatever the level is to make as many extreme potions as they want forever?
  4. My thoughts exactly. Let's be reasonable here, the ONLY reason for an extra 6 str levels or 2 extra damage is for pvp, be it minigames or worlds. I'm not going to go get 380924 herblore for an extra 2 damage so I can hit 2 more damage on a portal in pest control, whose games are over quickly anyway. I'm not going to get a spec potion so I can use an extra dds spec on a monster who will die momentarily regardless if I spec or not. I CAN understand why they would take them out of pvp worlds, where items are risked. I CANNOT understand why they would take them out of all of the safe pvp minigames. Minigames, in my opinion, are for fun. If I have the skill to get a firecape, by god, I'm going to wear it. If I have the patience to get rank 300 in Mobilising Armies for a berserker ring (i), by god, I'm going to wear it. It should be no different with having the cash to level herblore. If I have the cash or patience to buy/gather supplies for it, then by god, I want to be able to use what I've earned. As I've always thought, if you have it, use it. If it's a free for all minigame like fight pits, where "free for all" means "anything goes", you should be able to use potions that give you an advantage. It's exactly the same as using ancients or vengeance. You payed for the level, for an untradeable advantage, you should be able to use it anywhere. It's the same with these potions. You payed for amazing untradeable potions which give you that extra edge in combat, but for some reason you can't use them. They might as well take out the following things from pvp, since they are untradeable and do not give combat levels, but give an advantage in pvp. Agility Firecape Imbued rings Non-combat skillcapes All of these give a direct advantage to how well you can survive and get kills in pvp worlds or minigames. They are also untradeable, and all hypothetically attainable at level 3. The bonuses are small, usually only a few points, but then so is hitting 2 more damage or being slightly more accurate. Again, I can kind of understand why they took it out of pvp worlds, where you risk pretty much everything on how you hit/are hit, but taking it out of minigames meant for fun where you instantly respawn is ridiculous.
  5. Mighty's quest is complete! Also went to a td mass today and missed claws so my lsp doesn't suck anymore. Yay =) Now to go kill people in clanwars with leaf bladed sword. Huzzah.
  6. Yea, well, I had one of these "blog" things a while ago, but somehow I lost it. Think it got deleted. So yea, I'm making another. In this "blog", you'll see all the latest updates on my character, what levels he has attained, what drops he has ripped from the lifeless corpses of his foes, and various other things. So without further ado, here he is. "The player formerly known as Mightybear15" Aka "Mighty", enjoys many things, some of which are: Spending money Fighting evil Killing noobs Killing monsters Killing random passing npcs because they looked at him the wrong way Mighty also takes pride in his stats, or lack thereof. He IS IN FACT aware that his "skilling" stats suck, at least that's what the "skillers" say. So, here they are: Hitpoints - 99 Attack - 99 Strength - 99 Defence - 99 Ranged - 99 Prayer - 73 Magic - 96 Runecrafting - 58 Construction - 74 Agility - 70 Herblore - 65 Thieving - 76 Crafting - 80 Fletching - 61 Slayer - 88 Hunter - 75 Mining - 64 Smithing - 80 Fishing - 80 Cooking - 80 Firemaking - 61 Woodcutting - 81 Farming - 62 Summoning - 90 Notice how Mighty likes to kill noobs, not cut down trees or make pies for them. I guess next Mighty would like to show off his drops. He is very proud of them. Unfortunately, he has no drops since making this blog. [hide=Drops]Drops will go here.[/hide] Oi! I forgot to make a "Goals" section. So here you go. Nothing amazing but some things I'd like to achieve. 81/85 Woodcutting 92/95 Summon Best of Bank: I'll update this whenever I do a bank check. Yes, it's not done yet. Calm down, I'm working on it. All the land shall bow to the glory that is this blog.
  7. Been a goal for me for a while now. Finally accepted I wouldn't get it with regular training so I chinned from 95-99. [hide=big pic][/hide]
  8. [hide=very big pic][/hide] I win the prize. Got it in a lootshare mass after getting 100 cannonballs. I feel lucky.
  9. This is true... :-k I'd imagine they'd be very happy. How about decreased chance of failure for all thieving and chance of 10x loot from all npc's who give coins?
  10. Agility: Extra 50 run energy Attack: 5% chance of hitting extra damage much like lava titan, based on your strength level. Up to 10 damage. Construction: Reduced cost of armor repairs and/or 10% price decrease on furniture Cooking: Food heals extra 5-10% rounded up Crafting: Use less hides to make armor (couldn't think of anything else) Defence: 10% chance of reducing damage by 5% rounded up. Farming: Reduced chance of crops becoming diseased/increased yield Firemaking: Fires burn food less then a range/make fire without a tinderbox Fishing: Increased chance of catching trophy fish and use less bait while bait fishing Fletching: Receive a couple extra arrows for every 15 arrowheads, shafts and tips used. Works with bolts as well. Herblore: Extra 10-20% boost on boosting potions, and potions like antifire and super antipoison last longer. Hunter: Traps last twice as long, and are automatically smoked. Magic: Extra 10% boost on effects I.e. Holding spells hold 10% longer, stat reducing spells reduce 10% more etc. Mining: Mining speed increased by 15-20%/chance of extra ore. Prayer: An invisible 5-10 prayer bonus. Ranged: Successful attacks have a 5% chance to knock opponent back and stun for about 2 seconds. Runecrafting: Get 1.2x the amount of runes you normally would. Slayer: Extra 10% damage against monsters on your slayer task. Works for melee ranged and magic. Smithing: Slight chance of making 2 items from 1 bar. Summoning: Summons last longer/special attacks have boosted effects. Thieving: Increased loot/small chance of getting 10x the normal loot from a successful pickpocket Woodcutting: Increased chance of getting a birds nest/lower chance of completely chopping down tree. Well, there you go.
  11. Haven't posted on here in forever. [hide=][/hide] It killed a half hour. Not sure on barrows defender, as they all use 2 hand weapons as said many times. I'd love to have a dragon one though. Or something to make me stop using dfs. If they implemented a barrows one and did it right I'd love it though. Although my faith in them over the past year to do anything right has been shaken. Edit: It seems I lost most of my posts back when tip.it got cleaned or something. Ah well.
  12. Having killed more steel, iron, kbd, wyverns and probably as many miths, I was very surprised to find this on the ground after 2 kill. Duracell finally came through for me =D
  13. The way I saw it, the combat levels added by summon represented your experience or knowledge on how to summon a familiar. Many people have said that the combat levels gained by summon were your familiars combat level, but wouldn't that make the levels gained by prayer the gods combat level? I mean you turn on a prayer, and the gods help you. You summon a familiar and it helps you. I guess people are just so used to prayer affecting combat that they don't care.
  14. First one I had was dragon legs from a steel. It was back around a year ago when i was around level 100 so it was pretty exciting. Since then i've had a spear, 3 meds, a couple daggers from implings and another pair of legs.
