  1. No there are a few others that have the legal drinking age of 21 and some others prevent buying certain drinks (such as spirits) until 21. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_drinking_age I read the UK might be increasing the drinking age to 21. I hope they do so I have an excuse as to why I won't go out and drink with my parents on my 18th birthday. The UK government already dismissed the idea. Also even if they did it, thanks to cheap flights etc 18-20 year olds would be able to just go to places in mainland Europe for nights out and the trouble causers would cause trouble there. Yeah I didn't think it was the wisest move anyway =/
  2. Where do your knees go? Errr I either sit cross-legged on the chair or sort of... awkwardly. It's not exactly following health and safety but I've no choice =/ The box has bed linen in it too. :?
  3. =O Top Gear is epic! Though I don't know if you mean the US one. The UK one is bloody brilliant. I don't personally like cars or anything like that but I'm in love with Top Gear. Star Trek is amazing too, I can watch Voyager, Next Generation, maybe the Original series but I could never get into Deep Space 9 or Enterprise =/
  4. Have you read his new books? The ones for WW2? Yeah! I didn't know how I was going to like them but they're just as good as CHERUB imo

  6. Anarchy and Yu-Gi-Oh! Damn stright! 8-)
  7. :? If you were referring to me, I wasn't asking. I've been sniped before and am not in any desperate need to be again. If you weren't referring to me, sorry  The one above you I think :) i think i deserve to be sniped? ive sniped enough people ;) It's not about 'deserving' to be sniped. It all comes down to chance, being at the right (or wrong) place at the same time as another tiffer.
  8. I took these last weekend at the local Book awards that I went to. JUST as we were leaving someone recognised the CHERUB t-shirt! dfjksdnf!! I was so happy :D
  9. This is my habitat: [hide=Closeup of desk type thing][/hide] And if I want to watch a DVD there's a telly just on the left hand side wall. [hide=Telleh][/hide]
  10. Ewwwwwww bread :S [hide=] [/hide]
  11. That is gross... Is there hairs growing on it? When I left a sandwich in my room it had black patches too but that could have been from the chicken... It was just this horrible big patch of black that was on more than one slice. The thing is I'd only had it since Tuesday and the bread has been tied up, I've had bread last longer than that before so it must have been like that when I bought it =/
  12. I was going to have some of my personal bread today when I realised that there was a HUGE [bleep]ING BLACK FUNGUS IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. I took pictures but for some reason my laptop is being screwy so I'll post them soon =/ I'm very upset :(
  13. Perhaps not 95%, but MY family has been screwed up by my dad drinking. He's not like hit any of us, but he's done very very stupid things and his drinking sometimes really hurts our family. So don't say that it doesn't do anything at all. Too much of anything is a bad thing. In fact, I think your mom probably has more fun than your dad. She's not as accustomed to being drunk as he is so it probably gives her a nicer feeling. I agree :)

  15. Now the issue that I have with alcohol is that some people HAVE to use it when they're in a social setting. Take my dad for example. He goes out to the pub for several hours 5 out of 7 nights a week. He seems to lack the capacity to be social with anybody and not be drinking. And that's when it becomes an addiction and becomes a problem. If you drink moderately then it's fine. My mum is happy to go out once a week on a Saturday night, get drunk then that's it. But when alcohol is just being consumed and consumed it screws up the family. You can't say that alcohol doesn't do any harm because I know first hand that it does. Not just to the person drinking it but to the people around them too.
  16. Doing Abyss Runecrafting I don't use any of them I just sit. A great tip: stand in front of the bank booth, rest then bank. You'll be getting your run up while you're banking so you barely waste any time.
  17. OMFG Mini Eggs!!! I love cream eggs too but I think I felt sick after the last one I had so I haven't had one in ages =/
  18. Am I the only one that doesn't use glories but uses Varrock tele-tabs? If you've set your teleport spot to the GE it's pretty much the same as teleporting to Edgeville. You can bank at the GE then use the shortcut in the north west corner then run up to the teleporter dude. Sure you're using one inventory space for the teletabs but you don't need to worry about expensive glories or recharging them. You can carry as many teletabs as you want.
  19. It is indeed rather nice especially for the price... but turn it over and read the amount of saturated fat in those bars... its shocking... but I still eat them LOL I know they're pretty unhealthy but oh well  I've been eating them for at least 6 years now... And you don't look fat at all imo. : Yeah I always wondered that. I don't eat healthily at all but I've never really felt like I was fat. When I was younger I used to be at the hospital and doctors and stuff because they were trying to figure out why I was so small (lol) and I used to be really underweight, I don't think I am now though. I love crisps too. Salt and Vinegar are my faves. I used to love barbecue until they changed it. Quavers are gorgeous too. And original Pringles... *drools*

  21. 26king is cheating the economy - don't do it. It depends what you're alching. If you're alching something you made yourself you can probably make a good profit and there's less clicking, but I think diamond bolts come out with a bit more exp.
  22. Fly fishing is supposedly the best exp, just drop the fish. Lobsters are *okay* money though too.
  23. Front page of Runescape.com? I never go through the front page.
  24. I have serious addiction issues to Smartprice Chocolate and I used to have one for ASDA strawberry shoelaces but they turned rubbish. I honestly could not live without having it at least once a week. I think I start to have withdrawal symptoms if I go for that long without any. It's really cheap, like 25p for a 100g bar, but it's absolutely gorgeous.
  25. Rofl, this. Yeah happy America or whatever you lot. Just remember that Britain is far superior :twss:
