I ended up talking to someone about Runescape on Omegle. I'm a very exciting person :| I just woke up but today I'm going to go into town, get some sausage rolls and put a bit of money in my bank. Then I'll come back home and stay on the computer for 14 hours.

And who the hell cares about Voldemort's mother or how the ring came to be. It's destroyed before book 6 even starts and voldemort's heritage really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I agree. The NHS is slow, sloppy and not always the best. But it's free. If our family had to pay medical bills or pay for our medication (my mum alone is on about... 5), we'd be wholeheartedly screwed. I really appreciate the NHS and not having to worry about getting ill because it might cost me. I like our system. If you want to go private then go you, you pay for Bupa and get the best healthcare. But there shouldn't be a need to be worried about paying for bills. Why the hell should we pay to stay alive?

With films you need talented actors & directors ect. You can't give them a quick run through the 'actor-o-matic' to make them seem better. (Though make up artists do fulfil that role). Writers need some sort of talent in writing (unless you're Stephenie Meyer) if you're going to get anywhere. With the Auto-tuner all you need is a voice...

While we're discussing generalizations, Harry Potter fanboys fall under two categories: a) people who need to watch more movies B) people who need to read more books Apparently, it's possible to be both as shown by this thread Tbh a lot of the male HP fans I know are the sorts that just watch the movies because they're too cool to read or just like [cabbage] with explosions. Average dudes I guess. I've been around a lot of HP fangirls though before and they really DO adore the movies and squeal over Daniel whatshisname. I think it just comes down to hormonal teenage girls =/

Do you ever get tired of the game looking daytime or the boring colors. No, never. I know you wern't talking to me but I never do. Unless they make it either controllable or double speed (so 6 hours in game is 12 hours in real life) so you can experiance both night and day cos usually when it goes dark you go to sleep, so you wont experiance it that much and little kiddies will miss out on it. It is just a waste of time to put into the game to me, if they put it in I will see what it looks like then never use it again. Lulz I go to bed waaay after it first turns dark :lol: It reminds me of the day/night on Pokemon though, I never used to be able to play during the day much so I was always there at night (it turns dark at 6pm, fail). But you catch different pokemon at different times of day. Maybe different monsters will appear during different times of the day in Runescape?

I think the main problem with an 'official channel' is that staff would be getting a stupid amount of PMs saying 'OMG *suchaperson* said *suchathing* in the clan chat about me... BAN HIM!'. I think the stance on 'official' in-game things is very justified.

3. The sort that takes the logical route of thinking in that they can learn to appreciate both the books as books and the films and films, and don't freak out when every little thing isn't kept the same. These kinds tend to know more about directing and filming as well as literally aspects of the stories. ;) The problem is fangirls and logic are kind of... opposites. I think that's more of an average, grown up fan who isn't a rabid fangirl like me :lol:

Great idea, but that kind of thing would do well as a feature of the 'notes' tab, not a separate one. I reckon it's a voice chat feature. There's no way it's a voice chat feature. How would they moderate it?

Well sit down and think about it then PM them to us if you know so many. Every week people come up and say 'I knew that' but there are a lot of people that read the Tip.It times and there will be SOME people that don't know the DYK. The almost obsessive knowledge that people have here of Runescape means that it's hard to come up with them because a lot of people know a LOT about Runescape. Can people discuss the articles please instead of bashing the DYK.

I think there's 2 sorts of fangirls for HP. 1. The sort that adore the books but also love the films just as much or even more - they fangirl over the actors and actresses. These are generally the hormonal female kind who are easily manipulated into Twilight fangirls. 2. The slightly nerdy kind that know the books almost off by heart and hate the films because they don't follow the books EXACTLY, or really screw it up and add things that weren't in the books. I'm definitely the second kind.

Oh! Tell me how it was! I've got BR on DVD and I've read some of the manga that my friend got (lulz, she's not 18 but they let her buy it :lol: ). I've been meaning to get the book but I wasn't sure if it was worth it.

Isn't that bad?! I don't blame the 'otaku's' really, this arc is REALLY pissing me off to. They could have gotten away with it for 2 or 3 episodes but it's getting utterly stupid now. I'm not watching the new episodes now until my friend tells me something ACTUALLY happens. I suppose the series was worth it though for the hot new opening

My knowledge of cars comes from Top Gear. For speed I'd die for a Veyron tbh, but for a slightly more sensible car I'd go with the Aston Martin DBS. I don't know why I'd chose it - I think it was just love at first sight. [hide=][/hide] Definitely a green one.
