Does anybody remember a few months back when I was paranoid and thought that my mum and dad had [bleep]ed my drink? I eventually put it down to just being paranoia because I hadn't slept that night - but just I found out I was right. We all went to some family gathering (I, rather reluctantly) and on the way home me and my mum were arguing about drinking. She keeps saying that one day I will and party and all that [cabbage] but I told her I NEVER want to drink alcohol. She then said: you don't even know that I [bleep]ed your drink... and my reaction was: "Err yeah I did... wait... OMG." I feel more smug about the situation than I should - I not only realised that there was alcohol in the drink but I stopped drinking it and left without arousing suspicion that I knew. I could be a secret agent one day ;) But serious, I'm well pissed off. I'm not trusting a drink from them ever again.

  3. OMG those clothes are hot. It's not so much people ACTUALLY think it's sailing, but it's kind of like a meme now.
  4. I regret being scared to talk to people properly in real life.

Harry Potter isn't that much of a fad. Though it has fangirls like Twilight does, I don't think you see HP fangirls doing this: http://edwardcullenlovespells.blogspot.com/ [hide=]This is a true story that happened to my cousin, Jessica, in Seattle. She has a huge crush on Robert Pattinson and absolutely loves the character of Edward Cullen from the Twilight series. Jessica went to a workshop with her aunt and learned how to make love spells and love charms. She made a Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen love charm and within two weeks a new guy transferred to her high school and he is almost a Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen lookalike! Not only that, but he ended up in her English class and was assigned to her essay critique group, which has four students in it. She tells me that they are getting to know each other, but it is a little slow because he is really shy! She says he is very sweet and writes amazing poetry. He hasn't made a lot of friends, but all of the girls like him and, so far, he only talks to Jessica in English class--he doesn't talk to any of the other girls who also totally adore him. She is going to keep me posted on the story! Here is her Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen Love Spell (Love Charm): You can use a small pouch, a small box, or even a small plastic baggie or sandwich bag for this love spell. 1. Find a picture of Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen on the internet and print it out or find a picture in a magazine and cut it out. 2. Fold the picture until it is very small and then place it in the bag or small box. 3. Cut a tiny piece of material from one of your clothing items--a piece of a shirt or pants or something more intimate (!) and place it in the bag or small box. 4. Take a pinch of one of these kitchen spices: cinnamon or nutmeg or ginger or cumin or sage or rosesmary and add it. 5. Find a piece of blue yarn or blue ribbon or blue string and measure exactly 2 inches and cut it. Make one knot somewhere in the yarn, ribbon, or string and then place it in the bag or small box. 6. Write the word "Love" using any color of ink on a small scrap of white paper. Write it in your best handwriting, fold the paper until it is really small and place it in the bag or small box. 7. Add one pinch of salt . 8. Add a small smooth stone or rock. 9. And last, put in something very tiny from your room. This can be a piece of anything that is special to you in some way. It is important that no one else knows what this item is. Keep it secret. Now say three times in a quiet voice as you hold your love charm: "I love you, Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen." Place the love charm / love spell under your bed or in your closet so that no one will see it. If nothing happens within 4 weeks, take it out and add a fresh pinch of the kitchen spice and repeat "I love you, Robert Pattinson / Edward Cullen" three more times. Wait and see what happens! In case you are nervous about this love spell being "magic" or you are a Christian, this love charm / love spell is not witchcraft, but is based on an old folk custom that was performed a long time ago in West Virginia when young women were thinking about choosing a husband. Your great great grandmother may have made a love charm when she fell in love with your great great grandfather! Good Luck! Both Jessica and I (and a ton of our friends) love this Twilight fansite: http://welovetwilight.blogspot.com[/hide] Sweet mother of literature help us :?
  6. I just re-read the book 2 months ago and I can assure you dumbledore was killed on the astronomy tower. In the book he is shot by the spell, flies off the tower and "out of sight." At least put a dang spoiler alert. I haven't read the book yet. :-# The book has been out how long now? I think it's status as a spoiler is long dead, considering the series is now finished. I think it was 06/05? *don't quote me* If you didn't find out that he died by now then... dude :|
  7. If this IS a DDOS attack then I FULLY expect Jagex to hunt these people down and hit them with the full force of the legal system. This is costing thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of pounds for Jagex and their ISP company. I feel sorry for them though, I bet they've got people running around like blue arsed flies trying to get this all fixed.
  8. I ALWAYS go for maple longbows (u), just fletch them yourself, buying the logs doesn't cost much at all either. Either that or crafting maybe, I made about 1k coifs, very useful as junk to trade into Mobilising Armies :)
  9. Doesn't sound too bad. I've never liked the movies past the first two because it simply gets too hard to fit it all in, and thus I being a Harry Potter Fangirl, get extremely pissy over things they miss out. Or even worse - things THEY PUT IN THAT WEREN'T IN THE BOOK!!@@@ *rage* I doooo want to go and see it though. =/ The 15th.
  10. I actually wrote about the idea of voice chat in a recent Tip.It Times article I did: Jagex attempt to prevent the use of third party programs by incorperating their features into the game, such as clan chats as a replacement for IRC, but Jagex will find it near impossible to integrate the tools that Skype or even real life interaction provides the game. For example, how are you going to be able to filter out swearing from a voice chat? Anyway do we REALLY want to hear other Runescape players voices? :| I don't think it's a daylight/time thing either. Seems too pointless. An invention skill I posted was shot down earlier, I don't think it would fit either now. It could just be a Jmod thing though, a tab with all their fancy commands they can do like make GP rain from the sky or something...
  11. Not again... You mean see-saws? #-o
  12. Just because there's more it doesn't mean it's right or better. Baaaah I'm getting too bogged down in this argument for the second time today  I'm going to steer this thread back to sanity. I really LOVE swings, I can honestly spend hours on them. I spent about 2 hours on a swing at Pontins a few years back just listening to my iPod. There's something very soothing about them and they always get me thinking about things.
  13. Well I think I was the first to post mentioning that whilst the icon DOES look like a lightbulb, it could be symbolic for thinking/ideas/invention. I doubt that the time of day would warrant a tab when Jagex were saying that things only get a tab if they're really needed - hence the moving of summoning to the minimap. I think that if they were to implement a date/time system it would be next to the minimap. I'm thinking along the lines of invention skill.
  14. Actually, it's not your language at all. It's not yours either  Hell, it's not even yours. You crazy brits raped latin and took it as your own. So there. And besides, it's called a dialect :P Who's to say that your version is the right one then? At least we don't need to miss out letters in words like colour. Who's to say that YOUR version is right either? No one is able to say whose is right and whose isn't. And I like putting that U in some words that can use it. That being said, every language is raping each other at this point, like some cluster [bleep]. Maybe we can both agree that as long as we dnt tlk lyk dis or w/e we b kk?

I wouldn't say 'throws' rather 'cleverly crafts'. I love his movies, he's got serious balls to do some of the things he does and they truly hilarious. I'm still waiting to see Bruno, I've been grumbling at all the Bruno posters since it came out because I can't watch it in the cinema since it's an 18. I'm going to have to resort to other means. I loved Borat. I've never gotten around to seeing Ali G though, I think that's high on my movie priorities. Ali G was on the other night ;) Faaaaah of course I missed it >.< I just finished watching Bruno, like I said in the Today... thread, a bit more grossly disturbing nudity than I would have liked but nevermind. Tbh I might go see the 15's version in the cinema too. It was great

Eh, truth be told, that's your fault  Oh I'm not fussed. I'm going to lie and say it didn't work though to my parents or they'll be like 'WTF RACHAEL!?!@@' when they get around to watching it  Didn't they like ban that movie in a country? Yeah in Ukraine. They banned Borat too.

I just finished watching Bruno. There was a bit more uhh... gross nudity... than I was expecting :| but it was hilarious all the same. Edit: I just noticed apparently there's a 15's version of it in the cinemas. This bit from Wikipedia confused me to ' In the Netherlands the film has been rated 12. In Sweden the film has been rated 11.' I do hope they're not talking about the full version :?
  20. ^^ That definitely makes me think they're not done with PvP yet. Don't get your knickers in a twist peoples, they've not finished yet.
  21. I agree. I did a psychological test thing and found out I'm more masculine than feminine but tbh I wasn't surprised. I'm VERY much opposed to the idea of 'girls do this' and 'boys do this'. I'll do whatever I think is fun or right and if that means lounging around in Pyjamas all day, watching Top Gear and playing Runescape then dammit, that's what I'll do.
  22. I know all the j mods have accounts, but i've never heard of a mod with a pure. Sometimes I have the strangest feeling that they've never pked against other RS pkers on a regular account with no mod "powers". Y'know I reckon they have done. I remember reading that mods can't use their Jmod account outside of Jagex so if they were to play at home then they would have to.
  23. Verrry interesting. I wonder what that could be.
  24. Secret. No need to drop names when it was a long time ago. flyingjj, 40% seems just about right. Even my mom and 5 year old niece play games! Just remember that "games" doesn't necessarily mean Counterstrike or anything like that. Games like Super Mario, Tetris, Sushi Go Round, Sims etc. are easily enjoyed by both sexes. From: http://www.associatedcontent.com/articl ... html?cat=9 ...in casual computer gaming (i.e. card and puzzle games), women far outnumber men in certain demographics... BTW: http://www.hellokittyonline.com Screw Hello Kitty  I'd rather play CoD. I really think it's a bit sexist to say a majority of women don't play games. A lot of girls I know do, at least to some extent.

Specifically the names of food. Chips or crisps. Fries or chips. Hollow threats now? Good way to defeat my Americanness. It wasn't a threat it was just a statement. :P
