Blargh no, I can see the advantages but I have a natural hatred towards Twitter. Normal RSS feeds are just fine, we don't need Tip.It to try 'getting wiv da kidz'- Today...
Guh, I've got a cold... and I had to do a Sociology exam this morning. I don't think I did great, I couldn't concentrate because I couldn't bloody breathe and I didn't do any revision over the weekend (those House episodes aren't going to re-watch themselves). This sucks, I've got an English exam on Wednesday and I doubt I'll be better by then. I'm supposed to have lessons later on but I'm not going in. Oh and as I was walking back home from college I saw a Royal Mail van and in that instant I knew... they had my DDR mat in there. So I got home and there was a ' Sorry, you were out' card. God [bleep]ing damnit. I missed it by 10 minutes :wall: I suppose I'm too ill to play it much atm, but I'm still pissed off I missed it by that margin. I have to wait now until Thursday for it to be re-delivered. #-o Oh and Google Mail is being stupidly slow for some reason. Blargh.- Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
... I like pork. :? Thanks for replying! Yeah, it came all of a sudden, cause of the circumstances... A good metaphor would be that I can endure a storm or an earthquake, but not both at the same time. And well, they both occured at the same time. ;) -.- I guess we´ll be seeing each other anyways, since we are neighbors. And it doesn´t matter. I didn´t kill no one. She sounded really nice, it's a shame something like that has to happen. :(- Will I get held back?
Think that's a joke? If you fail every single subject on your JC (Irish version of GCSE's) you can still go on to sit 7 subjects for your LC (Irish version of A levels) American educational system sounds either extremely serious or easy, not sure what to choose on. Right now, I'd say the average for my year in maths will be around 50-60%, and we're in the top 20 schools in Ireland, extremely hard test with a lazy year of students = C average. I've got a friend stressing over her Junior Cert (I think they are), apparently she doesn't even need to then. Over here if you don't pass your GCSE's they'll try and push you into vocational 'education' where you can learn to be a bricklayer or a hairdreser or something...- Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Thing is, I can't even be with her... she lives in another damn country and you might be right about me getting mixed feelings. I know practically everything about her and for the first year of our friendship she had no other friends and I was there for her while she was getting bullied, I used to go about my day and worry about if she would be okay. It's all very confusing. Sometimes I really wish I could be together with her, other times I wish I'd never met her at all... blaaah... this'll probably never be sorted out. Damn =/ That sucks. That's horrible, maybe she thought you were being too forward, maybe try and talk to her again... I dunno :| I was going to post something about the males, then I noticed there was another page, you beat me to it. :(  Best way to get a man's attention, be a lesbian. Kinda screwy that  Wouldn't being bisexual be better? Intriging point. We still have a chance then... *facepalm* - Will I get held back?
Rofl... held back... yay for the English educational system where any [developmentally delayed] can go through  Compared to the American system it's so laid back... you don't have to pass anything until you get to 16 and do GCSEs, even then you can retake them at college.- School Start Times
At primary school it was 9:00 till 3:30, Secondary was 8:40 until 3:20, but sixth form gets all weird. Monday- 9:15 - 3:40 Tuesday- 11:10 - 4:30 (hate that) Wednesday- 9:15 - 10:40 (only one lesson :twss:) Thursday- 9:15 - 3:40 Friday: 9:15 - 12:40 There's at least a 50 minute dinner on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lessons are an hour and half. At the moment I'm barely in though because I only have to go in for lessons I've not had exams in, which after tomorrow will only be 1. I really hate Tuesdays though because the hour and half or so in the morning doesn't compensate for the sucky 4:30 finish.- Noobs say the funniest things!
You were lying about your attack and defence, I can spot fake quick chats a mile off. LOL@U I dare you to say a qc and print screen Why accuse me of faking? What would i gain out of faking it lol? Lul wut ? So... You're attracted to her? Cause that's what I got from that post, plus other posts. Not really, it's just a rather complicated issue. We're just close friends, we've shared a lot of our pasts with each other.- Noobs say the funniest things!

You were lying about your attack and defence, I can spot fake quick chats a mile off. If you type something in quick chat then the little bubble thing doesn't come up to you but will appear to everyone else. Ah [cabbage] yeah, you're right on that one. Sorry, I'm used to spotting out quick chat of other people - Noobs say the funniest things!
You were lying about your attack and defence, I can spot fake quick chats a mile off.- Summer...
Summer doesn't start for another 2 months for me. Finish on the 10th July I think. But it's going to start with a bang cause my friend from Ireland will be over the first week, then after that I'll probably just go into Manchester/do something once or twice a week then spend the rest of my time either on the trampoline or here. I think we're going on holiday to Pontins though, we didn't go last year so I'm missing it :( Swings & Arcade = <3- Welfare in your country
If someone was earning that sort of money, then I'm sure they can dig into their savings and tighten the belt a little. If they HAVEN'T got savings then they're complete idiots. Both my parents have been on and off Jobseekers Allowance, we've had all sorts of other benefits. But there's ONE benefit I WILL rant about. EMA. Educational Maintenance Allowance. People going to 6th Form/College who's parents earn under £30,000 a year can get up to £30 a week for... educational expenses. But NO, I'll tell you what they do, they go to college JUST to get EMA, soon enough they've got hundreds stacking up in the bank. Not one [bleep]ing penny goes on 'educational expenses'. They all spend it on going out and getting [bleep]ing drunk at the weekend. What pisses me off even more is that my parents JUST earn over £30,000 which means I don't get it. EMA is given out because the government assumes that the parents of the other children would give their kids up to £30 a week. Let me tell you how much I get £5... from my grandparents. If I'm lucky I'll get a tenner or so at the start of the week, my mum said she'll give me £2 a day for dinners and such, but most of the time it comes out of my own pocket and just gets added up to my mum and dad's debt to me (Like £70 now)... meanwhile one of my friends gets EMA, buys £100 trainers, has an Xbox 360, Wii AND PS3... He asks me how much is in my bank I'll say like... £6... he'll say like £240... It's a load of UNFAIR [bleep]ING [cabbage]. If they're going to give out EMA, raise the band a bit higher or give it to EVERYONE. :x :x :x :x I'm [bleep]ing getting it next year... I swear - Today...
I'll just have to try, it's trying to break the habit of not caring since... forever. I do have a few friends I can do stuff with, I went Ice Skating in the last half term. It's just I'll wake up at the weekend and be too lazy, the internet is compensating for not going out (that's a whole other story -.- ). As for family, I just accept that it sucks. We're a working class family in a council house. You can't expect lots. I'm playing with the idea of moving out for University though. It'd force me to stop being lazy, maybe learn a tiny bit of cooking, and would keep me away from some of the [cabbage]ty issues at home. The thing is those issues will still be there if I'm gone, only I'm not going to be there and try to help my brother or my mum or whatever... The more I read your posts, the more I realise that I've taken my relatively carefree parents for granted / thought of them as "normal". I would even say that your family is a lot more normal than mine because no matter what happens, my parents seem so unbelievably postive and upbeat. There are no over-the-top punishments here because nobody does anything worth punishing. There's the odd fall-out here and there, but my family is pretty chill on the whole. Until my brother starts getting moody, anyway. I often highlight the sucky bits of my life, I think in some ways they're normal in the way that they do work, care about their kids... but my dad just doesn't have a great grip on his emotions imo. He wants to be able to go out every night and drink and stuff, but we can't afford for him to do that... thus conflicts between my more sensible mum and him arise, along with loads of other [cabbage]. I think our issues just run a little deeper, they always have. I remember being about 10 and drawing a pie-chart in my diary about the reasons my mum and dad argued. It's not a BAD family, just a dysfunctional one. It works, but has a lot of pain with it too.- ComicScape

I can do if I really want to, like if I'm going to a thing with friends on a Saturday I'll have a shower on the Friday night, but in general it's pretty poor because all I do is go to college, go into town and go home and in general the people there aren't worth the time wasting on it. I'm just lazy really =/ He's good really, but a bit spoilt in the sense that he never really gets punished. If he does my dad'll do something stupid like put his laptop in the bin and completely over-react. There's no normal sort of punishment in this house, he doesn't get grounded for a few days if he does something. Either it'll get ignored or it'll get blown out of proportion until he's running crying to me because my dad punched a hole in the living room door and threatened to cancel the internet and I'll get upset wondering what the [bleep] this family is doing... Oh I found my asthma inhaler after using my phone's light to look down the back of the linen box/my desk and using a English Lit Anthology to move it into a position where I can grab it with an extendible grabby tool thingy. I'm gonna be shaking for a while now since it makes my heart speed up. There is no real "easy way" to combat either; you just have to MAKE yourself shower and MAKE yourself go out. Trust me, if there was a shortcut to being a more sociable person I would've taken it, but you just need to really do it and enjoy whatever you're doing. You don't have to go out and get hammered at parties every weekend to qualify as "social" - all that needs to be done is to just hang about with your friends, people you know etc. a few times a week. (actually I avoid going to parties like the plague - most parties full of under 18s suck so f*cking much that it ain't even funny. I'm saving the partying for college, and uni if I go.) The biggest problem for me is living in a rural area, away from most of my friends. We really have to plan something if we do go out, which is why it happens so rarely. Most of the time I'm just going outside to do nothing and end up talking to random people in my village whom I know. Still working on getting a job, but like everyone else, I'm having zero success. I suppose, I'm just lacking the motivation to do anything at the moment. Soon, I'll start doing things again... I swear :?- Today...
Pretty much why I don't communicate with my siblings. We're all on completely different wavelengths. Being the eldest of three, though, I must take charge at times. However, kids never listen. Today was a good day. I finally got my huge mass of hair cut down to something much nicer and manageable, and I've decided that I'll lose my NEET-dom this September and get my arse into college. Since I dropped out of school I'm gonna need to redo some GCSEs though, but that doesn't bother me too much. Anything to get away from my [cabbage]-hole of a school and the people in it. I've generally been feeling happier since I've been going out more, and I've undergone a number of aesthetic improvements (e.g. clothes) seeing as I really want to lose the "lonely loser" look. I must say that it's working. I've had to look after him quite a bit with both parents working, but whenever he's with his friends (though sometimes without) he ends up being a [bleep]ing [wagon]. I thought I'd raised him to not be an idiot :( I keep meaning to go out and be a bit more social, but my hygiene is horrible by the time it gets to the weekend and I always find some excuse not to ring up somebody or go anywhere. Health wise today I don't think I've been too good. I've been coughing all day and I can tell it's my asthma playing up - no idea where my inhaler has ran off to >.< Also one of my big toes is sore and feels like there's a swelling or a lump sort of thing there, looks a bit purple too, It started in my sleep I reckon.- ComicScape
