  1. No, but people mentioning that they haven't been sniped is basically saying 'Snipe me!'

Ah, AS Pyschology. I remember doing that joke subject  My attendance at the end of the year was around 30%; still got a B. I remember the research methods exam being quite fun though, pretty much exactly the same as what I did at GCSE which itself was pretty much common sense. Would you say that it's worth going to see the Star Trek film if you've never had any prior interest in the series? Anyway, today also marked the first of my summer law exams for my first year at Uni. Despite it being on the content heavy area of Contract Law it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, so I don't feel bad about doing minimal revision for it  I didn't see much of a difference between GCSE statistics and the research methods section XD I think it's probably worth it. I think that if you have a basic knowledge of Star Trek you'd get a little more out of it, but it's still a really great action movie with awesome special effects and shooming lazors. I think it gives enough Star Trek for it to be called a Star Trek movie, but not so much that it completely alienates people who don't know the series. You kinda get the best of both worlds.

A video game character can't be defined as badass, unless of course you beat the game and you yourself (the one playing the game) leads them to their episodes of badassery. A crappy player can play the game once, die and then give up - making Kratos appear not very badass at all. So really it is you who is the badass in this context... although using a game controller and sitting in front of a screen to attain this ranking makes quite a paradox. Ah well. :) Kratos has already done the deeds though. Don't you remember the end of GOW1? Kratos sits as god for the rest of time. That means he has already reobtained godhood. Gaia is just retelling the story. Kratos is not real. That's why he's called a fictional character. Way to point out the obvious. What's next? Harry potter isn't real? He... isn't.. real?
  4. Asking for hyts doesn't work. Snipe other people, then you might get sniped back. In 151 pages you'd think people would have read at least ONCE this simple fact?

I spent about 10 weeks at Secondary sitting around listening to the three other lads in my Drama group chat Football for an hour and half instead of getting the work done for our performance of our own drama piece we had to give. I think it was about bullying in the workplace... or something. The first time we ran through it completely... was the morning that we did it. :wall: I managed a C though, they all got D's  Meh, kids that age are lazy and won't work. Either do the work yourself and [bleep] them, or tell them to get their finger out. I tried doing that with my drama group but I just ended up doing all the work and it didn't end out too bad.

I don't really know jack about AP but AS exams are taken usually at 17. They're sort of like the first half to a full A-level, you do the second part to them (A2) at 18 then go on to University from there. AS stands for Advanced Studies I think. I did my first AS of summer today! Psychology, I think it went quite well. I think the Research Methods could have been better, I didn't really know anything about Correlational studies. Approaches and Biopsychology wasn't too bad, though the essay was a bit nasty about methods of cortical specialisation. Gender was pretty decent, the biological theories are pretty easy to remember though I didn't give any evidence in the essay :wall: I went to the cinema with my mum today ^_^ We went McDonalds then watched Star Trek. It was pretty awesome, loads of explosions and fighting, makes me want to watch the original series

They [bleep]ing did it. I've been complaining today that the finale was crap... but in the last 5 minutes they pulled one on me... It was totally worth skipping out of Sociology  My friend said 'Nah you won't run off!' but I did. I'm fed up of staying in college till half 4 and the lesson has been useless, I'd rather revise at home on my own. And it was totally worth it to see that ending...

 All my hopes for a good finale have been ruined! Unless they pull something out of the bag with 15 mins of the episode left. *criiiiiiiiiiiiiiiies*

Today I'm going to pop a cap in some internet [wagon] if the season FINALE of House doesn't start downloading at more than [bleep]ING 15 k a second *explodes multiple times* I have about an hour and a bit before college starts and I had hoped that it would have downloaded in an hour like most episodes do... but noooo it's still on 10 [bleep]ing percent with 2 [bleep]ing hours *explodes again* I'm trying to stream it too but that's almost as bad. I swear, if I don't get to see it before I go to college I'm coming home early :wall:
  10. I know I don't consider it offensive really, but I think there are swear words that are more used in the UK that aren't covered... I won't name them for obvious reasons.
  11. I listen to both usually, though I tend to have sounds a lot louder than music so I can hear when I've stopped woodcutting ect
  12. Pretty much what he said. Words are added to the censor when they are inappropriate and we see them being abused. While the word you pointed out IS inappropriate, it is not being abused. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen it being used. If it is used, however, you may report the post and a moderator will take the necessary actions (the user would probably be warned or the post may just be edited, depending on context). But the word is not used often enough to be added to the censor. I guess it could be, but that would be up to the admins. Okay, I was just wondering if you guys though it was really a problem, though it is a bit of an annoyance to some users.
  13. I think being able to multi-task is great, though I avoid doing online things at the same time because my laptop is so crap it can barely handle another tab when I've got RS open. But I tend to Woodcut and do irl things at the same time. There was a time a few weeks ago when I had to write out 16 pages of notes 3 times, handwritten. By combining Woodcutting and revision/homework, I ensure that I don't feel bad about 'wasting time' doing homework and actually do level because I normally wouldn't just woodcut for several hours. Unless it's botting and that sort of serious afk-ing, just not paying attention isn't bad.

I knew the question as soon as I saw the title and it's a very important one. I think it probably is a cake, but it's in the BISCUIT isle at ASDA?!
  15. Now I'm all for the Tif censor, I really think it does a good job of censoring out when I need to do a bit of swearing to the point where I'm actually writing 'cabbage'. But there's something that annoys me about the filter, is that it only caters for American English words. Now we Brits have colourful swears, some of which aren't really picked up by the censor. One of my most frequent annoyances is having to write [wagon] instead of the English dialect of arsehole. Exactly the same meaning, but those couple of letters is almost a way of avoiding the filter. I'm just curious if the Tif admins think this is much of a problem (there aren't really many words that don't get filtered that I would use).
  16. I think they're annoying because people are ALWAYS making threads about them! I swear there's a new 'what do you think of merchers' every week. Other than that they suck because they're manipulative [wagon].

Wewt! I've seen and nearly own (on video, retro ftw) all the Voyager episodes. I've seen some next generation but not loads, I do like it though. Same as you, I've not really seen any of the original series. Today has been surprisingly upbeat. I've been walking around town with my CHERUB t-shirt and a thin jacket because it's so WARM! It's bloody scary I tell you! I think the weather has made this day from an ordinary day to a quite good one. I even vaguely enjoyed doing a practice exam for my English Lit AS :ohnoes: I bought a packet of Polos though then lost them at some point without even getting to eat one
  18. Since when is Zezima a pmod? He was at some point but then they took it away because he's at a higher risk of attempted hackers and you don't want a hacker in a pmod account really.
  19. Damn #-o It's all I ever end up doing for long periods of time and I'm never paying attention :P
  20. Why should it be though? Why can't skilling be the more profitable way for an account?
  21. No way! I can Woodcut in peace now without having to be staring at the screen waiting for an Ent :wall: :wall: :wall:
  22. I've done stupid things on the internet and got myself banned from a forum for a whole year, for silly childish getting carried away with stuff... I did that year and got let back. People deserve a second chance or they'll make a new account and do even more stupid stuff to 'get back at the system' and just cause even more problems... yeah I've done that too :wall: People are idiots, they do stupid things but they can also learn from their mistakes.
  23. But if you know what you're doing, there isn't that much risk in combat either. There's a much bigger POTENTIAL for risk, I think he's saying. If you lag and d/c at Light Temple rune rocks, no one cares since you probably don't end up dead. If you lag and d/c at Sara GWD you're a goner. Woodcutting with Ents used to be dangerous :wall: But I see what you mean there.
