Please answer my post, you quoted it, and your post was at first irrelevant and at last a re-statement: Please explain to me why RS or RSers getting laughed at by, say, WoWers should matter at all. Saying why RS/Jagex is mocked is not an answer, it's a re-statement (especially since many of those reasons have completely reasonabel explanations). Never crossed my mind, by the way. Exaggeratted (never ending), and the same in many, many, MANY other MMO's. @fat klutz First off most of your reasons have are either explainable (bad graphics (I don't even care about graphics) are because Jagex has enabled RS to be playable on truly ancient machines in order to increase number of possible customers; it's one of their leading philosophies), exaggerated (impossible to hold a conversation, really?), universal (idiots are only on RS?), and/or false/ill-informed (ever even done some of the not-novice quests? Try MEP2, Summer's End, ETC then tell me what a quest basically is in RS). Anything else is called a CON of playing RS. RS also has PROS over other games, like how other games have PROS of playing it. There's no such thing as a perfect game, and even if it was "perfect" for some person or group, it wouldn't be perfect for many other people.

I laughed. Somehow, people can criticize Jagex's upcoming content, even when they have absolutely no clue what it is. Trolls are fun.

It's obtainable, and it will change my game for the better, in a drastic manner.

Again? Summoning is Hawt (not part one though, part deux). I thinking Blocking is very likely; it would easily be F2P, as was hinted. I'd support it, then we could go over LvL 150 (probably), Extreme pots could be re-added, and the Infamous D Claws, AGS's and Dark Bow's would no longer be so infamous! We already have anti-attack, we shoud have anti-strength too.

Ravenkana- Please explain to me why RS or RSers getting laughed at by, say, WoWers should matter at all. *An addition: Like how in Science, a geologist's opinion on matters of Astrophysics doesn't hold much credibility, a WoWer's opinion on RS shouldn't either.

I typoed "steam", and decided to change it to sperm for the lulz. I stink at making money, thought I do have a 40m BoB. Al of my welath is spread out amongst items, (like those D Stones, Cannonballs, etc), and a huge portion of it has gone into skills. Now that I have a Lava Titan, I think I'll kill the KBD until I get a Visage/head, or something. I don't care about efficiency. At the moment I still have no idea what to do, so I'm depending on luck drops. (maybe I'll just make a goal of a 100m cashpile).

What I mean by the Hitler comment was that AW was comparing things that are simply incomparable. Funny that Obama winning the NPP was better for him/her. The tone suggests s/he's not very fond of Obama... It's a game, take a chill-pill.

If it's the just gamer community, then it should hardly matter. Each company or game targets different audiences, so I don't really care what the rest of the gamer community thinks about RS. Different games have different players, and players from one game disliking another does not impact the legitimacy of the players of that game's enjoyment. Ravenkana bringing that up all the time annoys me, as well as the fact that his only existence on this forum seems to be beating on Jagex for anything (including advertising FO on RS). Oh bloody hell, my reading comprehension is no where near as terrible as you think it is.

No, he merely is pointing out a major bias and error in the poll. He does not suggest that is neccessarily a terrible thing, but in the context of this poll it's a major issue. It's still not Jagex at fault. Console games and internet could've been seperate. Jagex had a bleeding obvious advantage, why should they not have? You do realize that those last points are completely irrevelant, save for your belief that they are unfounded, and you are attempting to use "stronger" points to legitimize your belief that Runescape is not made fun of. Runescape is frequently ridiculed; I know that from observation on other video game boards. Runescape is not held in high opinion, to say the least. I mean as in other gaming companies/employees, which is what I think Ravenkana was asserting (he mentioned Jagex's decisions, not game content). RS is not held in high opinion probably because it does attract younger audiences, that Jagex has to then appease... The fact that they believe RS should be runnable on truly ancient computers doesn't help the graphics and whatnot all that much either. We're also not mentioning FunOrb, here. It has tens of thousands of paying members, and has some of the highest quality casual games on the internet (in their respective genres). It gets almost 70k page visits a day over 250k unique page visits a month. I have no such belief.

They made it so that whoever had the most web votes won... gee I wonder who'd win, the people whose game is bought, and then the costumer will probably never interact with them again, or the ones whose game requires their customers to go onto their website. Did you serisouly just blame Jagex for using that advantage? I'd blame the reward makers if I were you, they should've seperated console and internet makers. Wow, did you seriosuly just turn one of Runescape's best qualities, its supreme cheapness and accesibility, against Jagex?? I'd actually like you to back that up now, and additionaly provide evidence that whoever said that was aware that they have hundreds of thousands of often immature and whiny players, some of whom are completely misuing the support they're given; and that they understand RWT almost ruined Jagex financially and was degrading the quality of the game for many of its players.

EDIT: Lol just got another clue on first kill back into task. I'm mostly doing Slayer for clues, really. I love them so much. It seems my clues are far better on task than off...

Hooray! Lava Titian really is awesome, super quick KBD (not that I kill it ever) and super mining help :) Summoning in general is awesome, such a great skill, and one of the few "complete" ones out there.

How dare you! I've gotten many compliments for my outift. EDIT: Liar you have 153 pages! nice blog though. Scrapped effort for getting 65 rcing, got bored. That's one of my problems. Like after getting 85 slayer, I didn't know what to do anymore, so I did tons of different stuff for very little time at all. Latest big thing was 99 range, now again I'm in vitro about what to do. WILL be getting 83 summoning though, will work once I get back home from school (free period atm, yay). Then at 6:00 pm GMT -5 (central) I'll be going to a Halloween party hosted by J-mods.
