Dragon Halberd is better, as then you are not in their melee range and do not have to flip through melee prayer as well. Do not use the D Halberd's special; that should be saved for the Enhanced Excalibur, which is a free shark and Super Defence Potion every 5 minutes. Rune C'bow, sadly, tops the Crystal bow in every way. You can weild an Unholy book along with the C'bow to give +99 range bonus, just a mere one less than Crystal Bow; this also gives a nice +5 prayer bonus. I'd bring 7-8 stews, just to be safe, but you might only need one.

Who are you and what have you done with MHL? Anyway, great interview. I'm convinced that the finale of the elf storyline will be epic.

Great guide! I never used it since I developed my own method, but you did teach me about the safespots, lol. Well, here's my method, the "Dagon'hai Method". I kill Dharok, then Karil, both with prayer. I then switch to the C-bow and kill Ahrim with Protect from Magic and Eagle Eye. I usually down him in 7 hits. I then switch the robes with Torag's Plate and Verac's Skirt and tank the other three borthers. I start with Verac, and pray with whatever points I have left. Torag and Guthan go in whatever order, usually Torag since he's closer to Verac. I use the whip to get to 9 KC so I can get Blood Runes and Bolt Racks too (though I have never gotten a Bolt Rack drop, though I've only done it for 2 days). I only use one dose of PP if Karil or Ahrim is in the tunnel; if it runs out during the fight, I just switch to the metal armor (except on Ahrim) and get few potshots. If Dharok is in the tunnel, I take two doeses of PP since prayer absoulutely cannot run out during the fight. EDIT: Oh, and this risks 4.2m, but that is mostly the whip, so it could be switched out for a Dragon Scimitar if you're worried about dying.

Now that someone bumped this topic, I don't have any pics. Last few clues have been crud, but I did get a Rune Kite(h3), 1-3 done with no buying. They look nice. A month or so ago I got Rune Full(g) and Rune Kite(g) back to back.

I mean, there's only the assist system, item lending, face-to-face trading, the enourmously popular Castle Wars, Soul Wars, Pest Control, Team Boss Hunting, Trouble Brewing (lol), clan-hosted events, Bounty Hunter, Fist of Guthix, PvP worlds, Mobilising Armies, Evil Tree, Shooting Stars, Penguin Clans, House Parties, The Party Room, Burthope Games Room, Trawler Fishing, Shades of Mort'ton Mini-game, Group Questing; general competition for things like monsters, ores, trees, etc; Duel Arena, Tournaments, Clan Wars FFA, Clan Wars; Group Skilling like with fishes, Agility Courses, etc; The Clan Chat, Friend's List, and the good ol' fashioned chatting while standing around. How do you know what the player interaction will be like when hardly any information has been released? How do you know what Mechscape will cost? How do you know what the extenet of NPC-trading will be? How do you know what the effect will be on Runescape's population? I remember a statement somewhere... Jagex is targeting a more mature audience with Mechscape.

Even if I don't get one of the specialty drops, can I still make money at either of them? (soloing, that is) And which one should I solo? I'm pretty sure Kree is far more resource intensive, right? But I could make good use of his armor... and the hilt could pay for an SGS and more. But Zil is many kills per trip, right? And her sword is a nice 10m, a few of those could get me the Arma armor... And I'd actually use the godsword if I got it. So, I guess I'll be doing Zil, that is, if I'm right about less resources needed and the kills per trip. Am I? So, what's a good invenotry and equipment for her?

Well, I got 99 ranging last night. Couldn't be bothered to record or take pictures of it, but look at sig. So, now what should I do? Is there any boss monster that I could solo, but still make some sort of profit even if I don't get one of its rare drops? I don't pvp, so that's out. If I was to duo or trio Sara or Arma, what should me equipment and inventory be?

I couldn't be assed to take pictures and vids of 99 ranging, but look at sig. I had a few people from HYT chat come to my 1337 house. Funnily enough, I was going to get to single/double digit EXP left on the guards outside the house portal... but I overdid it and got 99 with no one watching :ohnoes: So, I faked it, but I told half the people I was faking it :razz: So, I had them all type up the message, and then I rune throwing-axe speced, which glitched and only hit one person. Since there weren't any fireworks, all the messages came, like, a few seconds after each. Lol it was still fun, we went to the ranging guild were I bought my cape, but before I did someone was kidnapped by a random, so we waited for a sec, and then I got a bunch of random items from a couple people (like a Needle, which I did keep :razz: ) Then we went to the duel arena. I was maxing on Lady Shadie with a Zanik;s Corssbow, only hit 43. I defeated her all times but one, where the specs screwed me over :P she didn't have any armor and is only lvl 91, rofl. Then Lady Shadie became a genie (glitch with rest) and I wished for a puppy and an orbit, which I both got (orbit from new quest). Lady Shadie is awesome <3: Was fun, couldn't be assed to record it though :lol:

Sell some of those Pure Ess, that is a LOT of cash right there. They're worth a lot right now, so it's a good time. Not sure what those first 20 herb seeds are, but sell all guam, tarromin, marrentil, and harrlander seeds. They are such a common drop, you don't need to waste time planting them when you could be planting Snap, Rannar, Toad or Kwuarm seeds. That half-finished attack potion should go, that's one free space. Granite Helm is junk too, just sell it. You already have a Netz Helm, and that tops it, no questions asked. Those seeds are cluttering too. Get rid of all your hops seeds, unless you brew a lot, which you don't seem to do. They're horrid expirience. Get rid of all Alloment seeds except Watermelon and Strawberries, and maybe Sweetcorn. You should only keep White Lily, Marigold, and Limp seeds, nothign else is worth it. That 5k Rosemary should go, they're useless. I still don't know if you brew. If you do, keep the hops. But if you don't get rid of all seeds and the hops. They're not worth keeping, and the products from brewing are outperformed by potions, pies, and the like. Sell all arrows under Steel, they're cheap, but steel and up is faster and saves time. Get rid of those bolt racks, Karil's x-bow is worthless. Use up the random event boxes, there's no point in not doing so. You could get a nice amount of exp from them. Your pouches are a big problem. You have all the low-level ones you'll never use. Get rid of the Vampire Bats, the Misquitoes, the Ibis (granite lob is waaay better), those bloated leeches.. Heck, just keep Fruit Bat, Granite Lobster, Ent, Unicorn, Bunyip, Pack Yak, Steel Titan, Iron Titan, Abyssal Titan, Lava Titan, Rune Minotaur, Wolper, Kyatt and Graahk, and T-Bird. Trade EVERYTHING else in for shards, they are either useless, not worth the time, or outperformed by other familiars. Sell the Trout, Salmon, and Tuna. All the Obsidian Stuff, except maybe the shield. Get rid of the Iban's Staff, there's no point to it. The Dwarven Helm and Dragon Med should go too.

Yes. It's faster cutting, so going for 99 you'll save hours upon hours that could be spent doing something profitable. And you can sell it back.

If you're worried about money, then a mix of ranging Avansies and then Chinning is about 155k xp an hour. Range slaying is also a choice, there's a great guide in the AOW.

Your combat stats are pretty nice, but your others could use some work. Your cashpile is too big compared to your items and skills. Invest in something, like maybe a skill. I'd say smithing, since it is probably going to sky-rocket in price as there is a revamp of it coming sooner or later. Or invest in useful items like a Sara GS, an SS, a DFS, etc.

75 RCing eally isn't that hard to get, since there's steam and smoke rune crafting. I don't really think it'd be a very good idea for RS's economy either...
