I mean if your target is... Anyways, having a some fail content does not equate to being underpowered. Range is very powerful at the moment. Just search "range pking" on Youtube... There are plenty of things in all three classes that are only good for one thing (Zam Spear, Sara Sword, most dragon weapons, etc.) and things that are simply not used by anyone with a grasp on efficiency.

This is a rather easy question. What are the oddest things you have seen on the RS Hiscores? Example: Momin taks the cake for me. A bit OCD to me to be honest :|

Even without the special, R'crossbow+Rune bolts are very powerful. "You didn't even mention the Dark bow, one of the most powerful KO weapons in the game.---with a .0000000001% chance of a 1 hit kil since if you pull it out in combat they will safe up to full hp before it can be shot cause its so damn slow." Holy hyperbole batman! Really, .0000000001% chance of a one-hit KO? Even so, it can still do some serious damage, and if you pull out the crossbow or even some Rune Knives you can kill soomeone easily. If they're in dragonhide or magic-armor, the D'Bow will do some serious damage, as well as the follow-up Cross or Knives. If they're in melee armor or Barrows, a D'bow might not do as much, but then you can follow up with some magic attacks, or just try your luck with the Cross/knives. Have you even tried range-pking? If you have, you obviouly didn't put much effort or thinking into it. "Crystal bows are for one-iteming---lulznub" Why is that almost everyone here is so... ugh. From 76-82 so far I've made probably 20m, most of it isn't in my cash pile though. I currently have a 5m cash pile, but also thousands of rune arrows from Dust Devil and Fire Giant tasks (and whatever else), about 50k fire runes, 15 snap dragon seeds, 11 Dragonstones, +100 Ranarr Weeds (a small portion of which will be used to make Prayer Potions), and just hundreds of these little things that add up. On my last Gargoyle task, I got 2 Granite Mauls, a good 600k. I've pied Spiritual Mages before, and in 120 kills I got 2 Dragon Boot drops. That's not a whole task. Always do clues, as well. They're usually not more than 100K, but recently I got a 360k Zamorak Page2 reward. I even bought 10k cannonballs to speed things up signifigantly, leaving me with a 1m cashpile, but that soon rebounded. A tip- always do MTK. It'll make you a good amount of money. I've recevied Magic Seeds before, a good 200k.

It's not like he doesn;t have 300 extra spaces :| But seriously, for 94 slayer, that's not exactly a typical bank... From 76-82 slayer alone I've made your bank thrice over.

Gargoyles love me. Last task, I got another G Maul and a mystic top, along with three clues (one had a 360k Zam Pg.2) :thumbsup: On my first task of them, I got a G Maul too.

Crystal bows are for one-iteming :D As for crap content, well, all three classes have that! F2P has Rune Warhammers and Shortswords. P2P melee has the Torag's set effect, and only its armor is worth using. Yah, I agree that Karil's a very lackluster... only good for the magic exp. Magic has Iban's blast, Normal Magic's Wave spells aren't very good. Hell, most of normal magics is outperformed by Ancients. But hybrids will always rule.

Spectres will more than pay for your c-balls. I know that, money is hardly going to be a problem for my last 3.5 slayer levels. The problem is that I can't buy them... I've had an offer in for around 2 hours now and not a sinlge one has ben bought. These ARE at max.

mmm... I hate the inflation, that has to be fixed somehow. Those of us that don't care to do PvP (or abuse the system, like most do) are getting screwed... Might have to reserve c-balls for Kalphites and Black demons only, was going to buy them for Spectres...

Only when I start to seriosuly train slayer, of course. I can't buy any. I'll be naiive and say people are either buying c-balls or investing in them for the new slayer monster...

I couldn't agree more! I love this thread, but all this damn dr000matac commentary is seriously annoying, all the PKing flames and spamming "faked" all the time. Also, it's more like 5 times every page. Unspam: 250k, not too bad. Nechs are a pretty good task, too. Also, I'm sick of all the quote chains. PUT QUOTED PICTURES IN HIDE TAGS. I don't have a pic, but the last three clues I got, in this order- Zam chaps, Guth bracers, and a Sara page. If those last two were Zam, it'd've been nice... I kept the Zam chpas, though. They're only 120k, and I have some cool costume Ideas with my quest cape with them.

Here's some ideas- Hitpoints- 2x health restore (4x? Seemed overpowered to me, with regen brace+Sup. Res. prayer (and the dream spell, if that stacks too). What do you think?) Attack-5% accuracy increase, cape gives +4 accuracy to crush/stab/slash. Strength-5% strength increase, cape gives +4 strength bonus. Defence-5% defence bonus, the cape gives +12 defence instead of +9. Range-5% accuracy, cape gives +4 range accuracy bonus, can be taken to the guy who sells accumulators to give the cape the same effect as accumulator for 100k (does not carry over to other Range Capes you buy). Prayer-Negative 5% prayer drain, cape gives +3 prayer bonus Magic-5% accuracy bonus, cape gives +4 magic bonus, can be enchanted by someone in the maging guild for 100k (does not carry over to other Magic capes you buy). Enchantment reduces amount of elemental runes used by half. Runecrafting-15% chance of creating an additional rune for each essence. Construction-Servants will work for free (funded by Guild of Constructors or something). Doesn't require cape, but upon 99 you can build three stories on your house! \ Agility-Negates what you are wearing to weigh zero (so even if you have a full inventory of coal tar, you are carrying "zero"), impossible to fail any of the shortcuts. Herblore-Every day, the druid you buy cape from will give you a random selection of 20 above-tarromin herbs. Thieving-Drastic increase in success of pickpockets. Pickpockets give double the amount of loot. Crafting-Dragon-hide armor requires on less hide (other than vambs, of course), Jewellery does not require bars (unless it's plain gold), amulets do not require string (I guess there could be a toggle on/off option, due to string amulet spell). Fletching-??? logs make twice as many arrow shafts ??? bows are made pre-stringed ??? Slayer-20% damage bonus to assigned monsters, 5% damage bonus to monsters the require a Slayer level to kill. Hunting-Counts as 3 camoflague effects for all areas. Mining-Access to large mine in mining guild, chance of mining two ores at once. Smithing-Small chance of using one less bar for anything (unless it only takes one bar, of course), smithing is a bit faster. Fishing-More sharks and swordfish than tuna, faster fishing, chance of catching a trawler fish at any ocean fishing spot. Cooking-Can't burn anything. Firemaking-Fires last a good deal longer, and you can pick their color! \ Woodcutting-Access to new woodcutting area somewhere with a bunch of high-end trees. Farming-15% increased harvest, small chance of finding seeds when harvesting. Summoning-BoB's carry three more items, combat familiars hit 20% more on NON-SPECIAL attacks. I know Jagex won't release any bonuses to the skillcapes, but I think they're fun to make up.

Thanks again. So, 500-600 for the "dangerous" Scarabites? Assuming the max of 199, how many cannonballs will the 5 above tasks take? Verac's skirt has been bought. Actually, I haven't had a Terrorbird task in ~40 tasks, and I'm at 75 consecutive tasks so far.

Alright, thanks. I suppose I will block Aquanites. I would like the occasional Amulet of Ranging drop, but after 4 tasks I've only gotten one. They also take a lot of resources to do, with little profit unless I'm lucky enough to get an Amulet. Even with a Bunyip, its scrolls, and Enhanced Excalibur and an inventory of food I still have a fair bit of trouble keepng up with their intense accuracy. I've decided to cannon the following tasks: Aberrant Spectres Black Demons Mutated Bloodvelds Kalphites Suqahs A mere 5/something tasks, my bank can totally handle that. Dagganoths are already afkable, and even though non-cannon takes 250% longer it's still a fine speed for me. Fire giants are also afkable in the Chaos Tunnels. Dust Devils are annoying to cannon, as in the Smokey Well they're very spread out and in single-way combat. Goraks are a very fast task with or without. Using the Swmp area, Scarabites only take me 20 minutes. Also, would using +10% att and def prayer really speed my tasks up by 10%? Or is the math a bit more complicated than that? EDIT: I will be using Super Sets minues Def (enhanced excalibur). The speed far otuweighs the cost. Dagannoths in the CT can help pay for cannonballs, thanks guys, this is really helpful. I have an offer in the GE for a skirt right now. Also a note: I make my own prayer potions, with Ranarr's from drops and a healthy supply of Snape Grass from WF's. I fish my own monks as well. I'm not questioning you guys on this, as I like self-sustainability more than effeciency. I do but cannonballs, of course.

I am currently 58k exp from 80 Slayer. How long would 80-85 slayer take? I have hellhounds, iron dragons, and steel dragons blocked. I'm not sure what else to block. Greater demons aren't that bad with wild dogs, wyverns are profitable and way easier than everyone says, ditto with terrorbirds, Goraks are fast, and I like gems, so... I also only use a cannon on black demons. They are faaar too slow without one. Nothing else, as I am not that rich. I do have a slayer helm and slayer rings. I am currently using a whip, fire cape, amulet of fury, dragon boots, slayer helm, Explorer's ring, rune defender, and torag's top and bottom. Would using Super Sets and praying +10% att and str actually make my 15%, 10% or ?25%? faster? So, how long wil this take me, and what else should I block? Stats are in sig. A, S, and D are also all 86, so you know.
