The cache finds aren't really anything to get overly excited about; I swear that cow costume turned up a good yr - 2 yrs ago now Still, it'd be funny to see, and some of the stuff could be epic. Will search for a video in-game of her, her teleport and stat spy. (was it on monsters or players? I think OP said monsters). If it's monsters then I'm guessing she's collecting an army to take down Lucien (Zilyana v. Lucien please? Shame she's a boss and not a slayer monster). If it's players I'm guessing it has to do with the slayer update that's coming out soon. If she really ony does it for +90 slayers, then it's definately not the quest, but high-level content for slayer (yes please! Going past 90, less than half the effort, is pointless except for the prestige and/or the cape).

I was the only person using the new prayers. Everyone else was showing normal Range protect. - I did ten kills with and without: with range sap it was an average of ~10 seconds faster. +50 hits were a lot more common. Like Stat's war hammer, this is exponential not linear. With 4 people leeching, you can get someone/something's defence down to ~32%. That's still pretty signifigant; bosses are getting easier. Oh well, more epic bosses are coming sooner or later.

^Defense drains like that can be a serious help with an boss. They have uses; they're just the curse versions of stat boosting prayers. Wrath looks awesome.

^^^Trolls are terrible people. I was trying out sap Magic and Deflect whatever at TD's (before I promptly died after Java and/or mozilla decided now was a good time to cut out), and I had some significantly faster kills than with Eagle eye+Piety. Defence seems to help. After that 5m lost (and wondered why I even brought Karil's top when I was going to lose it when Black Hide is as good), I went to a Bandos CS team and the defense+Range drain on Graar has significant results. The Graar kills were a lot faster (I was tanking by the way). No special drops, though, but I got some nice loot as it seemed I had the highest LSP by far. Kept Ourg bones for obvious reasons. Am training slayer now, might go all the way to 99 hp, but probably not. Pics pending. [hide=] A small reply to sole polite person. Yah. Some XP values have been altered, notably for cooking things, but the XP to the next level is the same. Most things haven't changed in speed, but just in convenience. Bots have pretty much been completely decimated. Strict rules on trading, dueling and other forms of transferring money have been put in place, but in my opinion have improved the game (though an INCREDIBLY whiny minority say otherwise).

The max the recoil can do is 9 or 10, from Jad. It isn't that common either. It is an improvement over the regular protects, though.

Can the mods PLEASE require people to hide quoted pictures and PROPERLY CROP THEIR IMAGES???? Seriously, I just had massive lag just from loading my favorite thread, and disconnecting in the middle of the Fire Giant room in the CT isn't exactly fun, even with a Bunyip, good armor and boosted stats. This is out of hand. On this page alone, there is: A horrendously cropped RSC The same picture quoted three times A 92 prayer pic that is so huge, yet the intended subject so small, it should be illegal to not crop it. Ditto with a D Claw drop pic. A rather large pic that was quoted yet unchanged. How long does it take to make [.img] [./img] into [.img][.img] anyway??? (said post even quoted a post that had quoted a pic... bleh) It does NOT take that long to run a Screen-pic into MS paint and crop it. Pressing prtscrn key, opening MS paint, Cropping, opening tinypic.com, uploading the picture, and posting it here takes me less than 2 minutes. What does skipping MS paint save? 30 seconds? It depends. Strength, but that's just because they're EVERYWHERE. Cooking/Fletching. Fast XP, buyable, and a great deal are ONLY for the cape/prayer bonus. Woodcutting. Once a cape I thought was cool, but now because of Ivies it is, by a WIDE margin, the easiest skill in existence to train. Of course, 99's are all admirable; they do take a lot of time to achieve, but some way more than others. Some more admirable ones: RCing: Not afkable, mediocre XP rates, and the rarest cape in the game makes this the top of my list. Agility: Again, not afkable, only semi-decent rates, and requires a lot of clicking. Mining: The Living Rock Caverns made this only somewhat bearable. It still has lousy XP rates, and a horrendous clicks per XP (up until rock caverns). Also the second rarest. Farming: Rare cape too, takes a long time (though, hours actually worked for it make this the fastest skill in terms of XP/hour) and a lot of memorizing. Also takes a good deal of money, though balancing herbs and tree seeds is not too difficult.

But, as D Bones go up, they get more enticing to collect, and supply will go way up.

I tried using Deflects+Lower Magic at TD's. The kills were definately faster; it seems 20% defence is quite major. I then promptly died after Java and/or Mozilla decided now was a good time to fail. Got freaking massive lag, had to restart Mozilla like 5 times. lost 5m. First time ever losing something (other than the destructables, like EE) at TD's :wall: :wall: :wall: After that, I decided to go for some easier boss-cash and tanked at Bandos with the new prayers. It was insane. Their specs almost never missed, and Graar went down way faster (I timed it, 10 kills with, 10 kills without, about 10 seconds less time with sap range). 10% defence (20% is given time) seems to be quite a helper. The new prayers have some serious uses with PvM, especially with bosses and their defence (leech would be better, of course). I don't PvP, so I hardly care.

That was an extremely well-done quest; on par with WGS. Looooooved it.

Just a tip to the questers- [hide=Spoiler]The uber-icefiends and the Ice Demon are very weak to stab attacks, as opposed to Waterfiends, and their crush weakness. I never missed with the Zam Spear, Piety, and a Super Set.[/hide]

Cool update, I started the quest, and seconds later I found a single epic thing. TELEPORTING TO DIGSITE WITH ALI'S AMULET COUNTS FOR THE VARROCK MEDIUM TASK!! That stupid amulet has eluded me for hours of work and now I've finally beat it!!! And a new place for steels (with Extreme Anti-fires+Zam Spear, as well as these new prayers, these are a totally bearable task)+Irons.... and those snazzy prayers... Best, update, EVAR.

What rare, GE price being a Santa or under, should I get with a Mint Cake? I've fallen in love with the Gnome Delivery mini-game, they're like high-frequency Clue Scrolls. It's only a matter of time once I get one (I just got a Scarf). Are there any rares I can get that "require" someone gullible to sell to me if I have a Mint-cake? I was thinking one of the Halloween masks, or probably a Santa hat. I'd rather get a Santa than a Halloween mask, can I get them straight off the GE? I've never owned a rare before, help please.

Yay. This is a fun game, kinda like high-frequency Clue Scrolls but with less rewards, but not that much less (snapdragons are common, most rewards are over 10k. I've gotten a yew tree seed before). This took me a few dozen tries. The only thing I pre-did was the collecting of worms and frog's-legs, lol. Now just to get a mint-cake and exploit the ridiculous gullibility of people attributing ridiculous value to a valueless item. I rarely am order to deliver to the people who give them, though (Brambickle only once, though he is the most annoying of them all. The jungle guy a few times, but nadda. The desert guy only once. What rare should I get? Must be GE price Santa or under.

Use your best Ice spell on the melee brothers, and side-step. Kill them with the Black Salamander. On Dharock, hide behind the coffin after 4 blasts from the Salamander, wait a few seconds, then do it over. The ice spell could miss, meaing you get hit once, but it'll probably do nothing if you have half-way decent armor. With this method, you save a lot of food and prayer, as the only brothers you have to pray on are Ahrim and Karil. Use a good specing weapon like D Claws or DDS to make it go quicker on them. Harrlander tar is also a LOT cheaper than CoG, Fire Wave, Surge Spells, Slayer Dart, and pretty much every spell (but the strike ones, of course).

Whip+Rune Defender has higher damage per second than the GS. A Zamorakian Spear is good for Waterfiends (crush) and Aquanites (stab), as well as Black Dragons if you're willing to take their melee damage (Mage+Anti-Fire pot completely blocks breath); they are so weak to stab you will kill them far faster than with a Whip. An SS is good for Strength training, but is better for some tasks where the monster is weak to crush (like Gargoyles or Waterfiends) than the Whip. The only Godsword good for slayer is the SGS, and that itself is a luxury item. A Bunyip can eliminate the need for any additional healing on most tasks, combining it with the Enhanced Excalibur (which is a mere 500gp) eliminates even more. Many tasks reccomend you use prayer (like Abberant Spectres or Black Demons). In short, the Abyssal Whip and Zamorakian Spear are really the only two weapons you'd; the SS is fine but not neccesary, and I'd only reccomend getting the SGS if you have a 300m cashpile. It really is unneccesary.

^Who said they aren't coming out? Maybe they're the next "high-level" content. Going PKing, make a [cabbage]load of money, boss hunt ad infinitum, solo the Corporeal Beast until you get a Sigil, get more total XP to go up in ranks, and wait for the next skill to come out! There's more, but yah I guess it would be boring; though I hardly think you're going to max out any time soon.
