  1. Limiting your character from training ceratin skills in order to perform better in PvP will lock you out from doing certain things. Use Chaeldar and get over it. And summoning doesn't add combat levels in PvP unless there is a Summoning Pouch in your inventory, or you have a familiar summoned.
  2. Gosh I guess I'll be having to install Adblock Plus.
  3. I've gotten this damn thing +3 times now. I press the back button, and it showed "Your Computer has a virus! Are you sure you want to exit this page?" IT had cancel to stay and OK to go back. I pressed okay and it sent me back to TIF. I'm not sure if it's given me a virus, but when I get back home from school I'll start up my Anti-Virus and squash it lke the SOaB it is. Luckily, I have on of the more powerful Anti-Virus programs on the market (ESET NOD32 v.3) and that should obliterate it.. though it hasn't notified me of anything so, again, I'm not sure if I have a virus. (Only bad thing about ESET is that you have to continuously buy subscriptions to get their Virus Database updates, though they come in yearly-increments for, umm, I forgot the price. I haven't bought any since the initial subscription though, and my database is over a month out of date.)
  4. Making Anti-Fires is 30gp/xp. That's out. I now have a new plan: Making Harrlander Tar for 20gp/xp. That's way more into my budget. Soooooo.... How long will 14,142 Harrlander take to process?

If mousekeys are turned on, you can spam-tap the "5" key and do it a lot faster. It does not seem to have any hold-time. Sticky keys can be used to eliminate the need to hold down "Alt". I can consistantly do one load of grimies in less than 10 seconds (this includes banking and withdrawing). Just hover your mouse over the first herb in your inventory, start spam-tapping the 5 key, and just move your pointer down the entire column (sp). Move over one, go up, move over one, go down, and last column. Click on bank, click "Deposit inventory", right click grimies, withdraw all, close bank, and start again. This is extremely fast and can potentially double your grimies/hour.
  6. Duracell and Sumona getting it on? Charos ring doesn't work on powerful NPC's, I think there's some clarification of that. I know that there is an NPC in the Garden of Tranquility Quest that noticed its power and refused to talk to you. Not sure how much I like this update... Gargoyles already got a nice place in the Chaos tunnels, and they're insanely close to a bank and it's easy to find an empty spot. Abyssal Demons have the neato alernative rift spot, and Steel/Iron dragons got a snazzy new spot with virtually no campers, and so close to a teleport spot it's worth banking the bones (level 89 Lunar Teleport+Duel Ring). Blue Dragons still have the ogre place. Not sure I'll be using her (though I definately will for 10th/50th tasks for more points). It all depends on the density of the creatures, though. I'll have to see her entire task list and the effects of the stuff before I decide. Though I won't be training slayer for awhile in any case (am getting 82 herblore, will stew up for several hundred Extreme Anti-Fires, 89 magic for Ice Plateau teleport, then Campish Steel Dragons for bones/cash for 80 prayer, and maybe my own visage and another to chop off the number of dragons needed). Also, a tip to slayers- Dharocking Gargoyles just completely annhilates them. Two-hit kills are very common (use crush setting).
  7. Utterly epic idea. You mean udderly epic idea :twss:
  8. That rock tumbler wasn't made by the Tzhaar. Maybe it's fresh and new from their magical lava forges. Does it really matter? It's an Obsidian Shield, there's just no rational way to deny that...
  9. It's an Obsidian Shield :wall: Even if this wasn't true, it doesn't matter. A mod said it's an Obsidian Shield, it looks like an obsidian shield (the spikes and [cabbage]), and crap like this has happened before ([bleep]ing sailing).
  10. I don't actually have to sell that much of my bank. I mean, I have stockpiled TONS of stuff from slayer+other random stuff. I have +100 Diamonds from Slayer and TD's that I'll never use; not to mention 40 Dragonstones (though, they're my preeecious, I'll never let go of those). I also have a lot of seeds and stuff that I can plant. I will only be selling raw resources, so it's not like I'll be letting go of my Fury, Whip, etc. I will be selling my BGS anyway, I've found I no longer have a use for it. It's only good for some Bosshunting and PvP (the latte rof which I don't do). I use D Hally for solo TD's and Range for Duo+. I have Enhanced Excalibur, Unicorn, and Guthan's for tanking at Graar (and I'm getting Extreme Anti-Fires for getting Dragon bones for 80 Prayer (I like DIYing some things), and this will give me the Curse that lower's Graar's defence and raises mine, even better for tanking). Corp Beast is bad against Zam Spears, but not BGS. I have 99 range for Zil, Kree is immune, KQ isn't worth it, Chaos Elemental is very profitable (first solo kill: 200 Rune Arrows) but again, I have 99 range. The Mole is fun as hell to Dharock (not like I kill it ever), and that about covers it. I need 18,780,800. Those Diamonds will cover 1.6m... and I'm not sure what else is in my bank. I have a bunch of ores and bars from variosu stuff I never use, etc.
  11. I am currently 68 Herblore. After I use last week's Penguin Points, I will need -5,565 XP till 69. So, the Points will allow me to make Anti-Fire potions, with 5,565 XP to spare. I will need 1,747,471 XP for 82 (that's quite the number). Is it best to make Anti-Fires all the way? I will plan on using Grimy Lants, as they are cheaper and give bonus XP, so that can save a good amount. That way, every herb I buy gives 170.6 XP. I'll need 10,244 Grimy Lants, 10,244 Ground Blue Dragons scales and 10,244 WF Vials (though those won't be included in the calculations, as the shop update made them cost dirt) to get 82 Herblore. That combined will cost 78,469,040 (assuming Lants for 6.6k and Dragon Dust at 1,060). After selling all Anti-Fires for 2.9k, it will cost 48,761,440. However, I assume I will do another round of Penguins at 70 Herblore, saving me the need to make 164 Anti-Fires, lowering this by 780,640 (that's some radical penguins) for a total of 47,980,800. By selling my BGS for 29.2m, I then only need 18,780,800, which is completely affordable (though I will have to sell a bunch of my stockpiled [cabbage]). So, is this a good plan, and is it worth it? (I think it is, so never mind). I also have a couple hundred herbs (270ish Lants and +200 Dwarf Weeds) from MTK, so it's not that much.
  12. Gasp, of course! Get 82 herblore first, stew up and make a bunch of extreme anti-fires, go to the new Steel Dragons, and completely rape them with my Zam Spear. Bank the bones (it really isn't the far from a bank (will have to remember forinthry braclet (sp) though)), and continue till I have enough for 80 prayer. That'll take a while, buuuuuut.... I'll probably get a visage or something. Or some D Legs at least. That'll cut off a good portion of the kills (will keep first visage, though). It's the perfect plan! Now, just to get 82 Herblore...
  13. He speaks the truth, 4 rocks, a crate, and a bush. What is this I don't even...
  14. Mainly Tormented Demons, but sadly I haven't done them seriously in a bit. Only one solo claws, but that's to be expected due to me not killing them much. Slayer too, as inconsistent as it may be. And a bunch of random stuff, Herb Farming if I get a lot of seeds from Slayer. Also a few dailies, and other stuff.
  15. Don't waste P-Pots for tasks that are fine with just a Bunyip/Unicorn/etc. and/or an Enhanced Excalibur. Though, for higher-leveled tasks like Skeletal Wyverns, Soul-Split is awesome. There are very few monsters that can outperform soul-split.
  16. If you're that worried about lags and disconnecting, then no one's forcing you. It is the best cape, though Obsidian if fine. However, Ardounge cape has a massive prayer bonus, a decent magic defense bonus and a good stab attack bonus; great for all sorts of things, especially WF's, dragons, and pretty much anything that needs prayer.
  17. Your skepticism is correct; torso is one of the most overrated pieces of crap in the game. It takes hours to get, only gives marginally better bonuses, and is just overall crap. It is better to kill green dragons (especially with bone prices) and make money for Bandos Plate (especially seeing as torso is destroyed upon death, unless it by some fluke is one of your 3 items. It's easier to die than you think; I've died a couple times from Bronze Dragons without an Anti-Fire shield when going to Nechs and Dagganoths (or other things, chaos teleporter can be a [bleep])).
  18. Dragon Boots are better than Bandos. Cape- I recommend getting a Fire cape; it IS the best cape in the game (overall, there are better capes for prayer, ranging, magic, stab and some other stats). If you don't have one or are unable to complete the mini-game (you definitely can with your stats), you'll have to go with Obsidian. Chest- Barrows. If you don't have that much cash, these things are great. They're pretty cheap, and if you only have that much cash Bandos is only a luxury. Legs- See above. Ring (planning on zerker)- I'd go with wealth, its benefits are understated, and it's only 10k. Beserker is another luxury you can't afford. I'm not stopping you, but Zerker only provides an extra 1-2 max hit. Ammy (fury im guessing)- Yes, Fury is the best in the game. Get a fury before anything else. Weapons (any additional ones i might need against certain monsters aka Water fiends)- Whip is overall the best. Zamorakian Spear is extremely useful, for things like dragons (chromatic dragons' breath can be 100% blocked by anti-fire and magic prayer. It completely rapes metals if you have extreme anti-fire), WF's, aquanites, Corp Beast, and others. Saradomin Sword is another luxury item, and is only good for strength training, and with its price it's not really worth it. It's on par with Zam spear at WF's, and isn't worth it for a bit more speed on things like Gargoyles. Godswords are only useful at bosses; whip has higher damage output. The only GS useful with training is SGS, and that again is an unneeded luxury item. In summary, get Whip and Zam Spear.

The Cake is a fairly rare reward from the gnome delivery mini-game, but it is NOT, I repeat NOT a discontinued item.
  20. "Sorry, but it takes longer than that to become worthy of my friends list."
  21. Again, a note to all the people having trouble completing the Frostenhorn place- The Ice Demon and the Icefiends are very weak to stab. The prayers, as stated above, are not meant for casual monster-killing or training; they're meant for bosses and PvP (though i don't PvP). Just using sap range as a tanker made it way easier at Graar; the kills were proven to be faster (by me and a little testing). Leech defense is even better for tanking, as I can also boost my own defense. In fact, 4 people (your average highish level team) using leech defense can lower a boss's defense by 68%. That is significant. Argh, slow down Jagex, too much stuff! I have a goal of 82 Herblore (for Extreme Anti-fires, for owning dragons and bumping Steels from my block list), and 80 prayer now too :o Not like I'll finish either, though all of my XP lamps and Penguin Points are going to herblore, as that is harder to do (I only need to kill 4,500 dragons for 80 prayer, but a lot less than that since I can sell the hides). Not to mention training my combat stats up through slayer, get 70 RCing for all +70 (though tears are doing that, never mind), getting 96 Summoning eventually, and whatever else.
