  1. If you're asking if the shades have been there before, the answer is yes :)
  2. I often bring EEE to slayer tasks. I find that it is the only spec weapon I really use for slayer. It raises defence and heals. Saves a couple prayer points. I turmoil most tasks(with rapier)
  3. I'm obviously not trying to make a tip.it manipulation clan for a large number of reasons. What I'm talking about is flipping, investing and the such. Which I've made hundreds of millions from..
  4. The snapdragons are from the ring of wealth drop table.. Earth talismans though, I don't know.
  5. Why does this topic not update or show under watched topics anymore? :(
  6. ^ Is bursting not efficient vs barrage or what is the reason for wyverns to be faster/better charms for me than rock lobsters? Edit: I do have rapier, access to overloads and turmoil.
  7. Na, they just piss me off when I teleport there after gathering feathers for super antifires.. Trap/break em all, screenshot 50 stuck bots and e-mail it to Jagex. Lol
  8. Where would I put those in there though? :P
  9. Anyone have an estimate of how much it would cost me to burst for a yak? Atm I have charms for 86, so that's around 3,6m xp. I can afford any gear, vecna skull(is that useful there?) etc. I can obtain battle robes.
  10. Sorry if I'm not allowed to ask this, but is there a way to trap these bots? There are at least 50 at all times on my regular world.. No wonder herb prices are going to hell....
  11. Prayer is more expensive than herblore at the moment, so if it's for saving money, rather do prayer. If not, do the skills you hate, like Bows said
  12. Bah.. Fishing is either too much clicking or too slow
  13. I was wondering if these stack? If yes, anyone have a figure of how much fishing xp per hour it is? Even better if anyone knows with decorated fishing urns :P
  14. How did you manage that? :P Oh well, easy to get back there at least.
  15. Requires you to be on lunar though, which may be inconvenient. I know it is for me at least.
  16. Haha :P Nice chunk of xp right there. What skill they going to?
  17. 2,7m tokkul does take a considerable amount of time to get, at least for most of the bots down there.. They really SHOULD be banned before they reach 2,7m
  18. Although I agree with what you said, most of the things you mentioned have guides on the front page. All the skills, boss hunting, activities etc. If not a sub-forum, maybe it would be an idea to put a merchanting guide on the front page? In my opinion, more merchanting talk is the only thing this site is missing :) You have everything else on this site, why not offer a guide to this aspect of the game?
  19. I'm aware of that. But I feel like merchanting gets very little attention on tip.it. If a merchanting section was created, I think more people would get involved in it. A merchanting guide in the general guides section would disappear in the other guides posted. And the same goes for help & advice. Questions about merchanting would be better answered in a sub-forum for merchanting. This is simply because people would go to a merchanting section to talk about merchanting, knowing there are other people there that share that interest. People with knowledge about merchanting would go to it, people that might not go to the help and advice forum at all. I see a lot of the same people answering posts in help & advice, and by all means - props to them for doing that, but I think more people and other people would be active in such a sub-forum.
  20. Ok, I've been with tip.it for years - on and off as I have with Runescape. I'm also using another Runescape related forum. I originally started using that because that forum could offer something this forum does not, which is merchanting help. What is merchanting? The general term for merchanting is buying an item at a low price, to at some point resell it for profit. There are several different types of merchanting which I will not mention here. But if there is interest for it I might write up a guide on it. Myths There are a lot of myths about merchanting. I will start off by crushing a couple of commonly known myths. "Jagex dislikes merchanting" - Jagex does not dislike merchanting. What they did dislike, was clan merchanting, which made a lot of commonly used items unavailable to the regular Runescape player. "Merchanting hurts the economy" - No. Merchanting is healthy for the economy as it keeps items flowing. Without merchanting, buying and selling things in the grand exchange would be slower. "More people merchanting makes it less profitable" - In some, very few cases, this may be true. But that is not the kind of merchanting the regular scaper will get into anyway, because that only applies to more risky and complicated forms of merchanting. Generally, more people merchanting won't affect things much, apart from maybe moving the price a little. This will not remove the profit margin though. "You need to have a lot of money to merchant" - Although you can make more money if you already have a lot of it, you do not need hundreds of millions to do this efficiently. You can make a lot of money by sticking to low cost resource items. I know this because I have tested and confirmed it, turning 100k into 10m without that character leaving the grand exchange. "Merchanting is too risky for me" - Some types of merchanting involve risk. People that are not confident about merchanting should not attempt these methods anyway, as there are safe and easy ways to merchant that will still make a lot of money. Why does tip.it need a merchanting section? Tip.it is a really great site for those who need help with or want to discuss Runescape. There are a lot competent and helpful people here. What it is missing though, is a section for merchanting. Merchanting is a great way to make money that requires little effort. It is good for the economy and gives a new side to enjoying Runescape for a lot of people. In some cases, particularly aimed at a site I think a lot of you know about, merchanting and rwt go hand in hand. I do not support or like rwt at all, and that is why tip.it is a good place to have a merchanting section. What would this section contain? A merchanting section would contain general guides on different merchanting techniques, a discussion and merchanting help part and a part for posting "hot items". Hot items can be an item that is currently at a very low price or that for any other reason should rise soon. What does a merchanting section require? - One or more moderators that know a fair bit about merchanting. - Being able to post graphs using grand exchange-tags Additions are welcome either by posting here or by pm'ing me. Any other feedback for that matter.
