Uh I guess I was kinda a vertical liner, but I did have a few friends, though I mostly played solo. I didn't really go far out of my way to talk, but sometimes I did, and was always happy to chat back to others. I was pretty friendly though, I never went around being an arrogant prat, or yelling at "noobs" or whatever.

Awkwardness I guess. Cos I knew most of the people there, of which there were only like 40 at the time. Also being rather sober, which affects by decision making process lol. I was kinda sarcastic about being "smooth", getting her number really shouldn't be a problem after she wanted to get with me.

I take it with me pretty much everywhere incase I need it, cos it's my primary mode of contact for work, home friends etc cos my flat doesn't have a home phone line. I get like 500 free texts a month and I use around half to all of them, so I'm not a huge texter. And I only call home (as it's free). I don't feel like I'm a slave it my phone, but it's really annoying not having it (WHO COULD BE TEXTING/CALLING ME ATM!?!?!)

Yeah. I met her on Saturday night. We talked for a bit, then she asked If I found her attrative, so then I was like, "Yes...?" She then put her arms around my neck and asked me something like "would I kiss her" I think? I didn't cos there were quite a few people around. I told her she could have been more subtle and asked me to go outside for fresh air, so then she was like "Wanna go outside for a breath of fresh air". For some reason I said no, mostly cos it would have looked suspect if we had disappeared outside together. Kinda regret not taking her up on the offer now... :wall: MEH, there shall be more chances. Perhaps.

Surely it doesn't sound that bad? I have all their Studio Albums on Cd except for On Every Street, and I also have On the Night, another live album, and they're all great quality.

Well yeah, but do they prefer it if people are egotastic or do they prefer it if the writer is modest? CVs' dont have a "tone" actually. They're just - "what I've done so far" and "what I intend to do in the future". Nothing more than a list, with where you've worked, for how long, and yeah. I thought that sometimes you're required to send in a letter along with your CV? Here's an excerpt from my friend's 'cover letter', which my friend asked me to proofread. I thought it was kinda egotastic. (not completely) Yeah, I don't think she really needed to explain why she was moved up a year, cos it does sound pretty egotisitcal

I don't feel wierd talking to straight guys to girls, but lots of straight friends I have feel a bit *awkward* talking to my gay friends. Unrequited love. Would you guys be put off a girl because she's christian (or just religious in general)? I met a girl on Saturday, and have been talking to her and just found out she is. I was kind of just like...Mmmmm :unsure: Might be different for some of you Americans, cos generally religion is a bit of a minority here.

You can pretty much write whatever you want, they don't give a [cabbage]. Trust me, I work there. They really hire anyone, there has been some absolute munters get hired where I work, who somehow manage to get through an interview too.
