  1. Okay, so i've got about 350k until 90 fishing and I want to do it pretty fast, but at the same time I want to do fish flingers for the outfit and go for the tackle box as well. However I've played the game a few times and done alright i guess, but I wanted to know what are the best strategies for getting points/medals etc. I would be going for the outfit first, then the tackle boxes. So I guess in other words how do i get the best points and medals possible? Do i go get all 6 areas then come back to the heaviest spot available or what?
  2. I think he was referring to the weapons which have specs... At least that's what I'd assume because I've been wondering the same thing.
  3. http://forum.tip.it/topic/322682-dominion-tower/ Refer to this link for a good majority of your questions. If you still need help feel free to ask more! :)
  4. While both of these suggestions are good, they aren't the best. For Mining use Warbands as often as possible. And for smithing I would recommend doing mithril as it is also around 10 gp/xp but much faster than 100k/hr.
  5. Don't, if you're at all unfamiliar with doing the fight caves it can be a bit tricky. Useful things to keep in mind during the jad wave are stay in a safe spot. Prioritize things like this, Prayer always comes first after you hear the noise/see him preparing for an attack. Then focus on healers if they are there and killing them. Lastly and something I honestly wouldn't even worry about would be your ability rotation. If you're just looking for getting the cape i would log out when you get to his level, then log back in and activate momentum immediately after you put on your mage/range prayer. When he spawns you should be in the spot in my picture and from then just focus on doing one thing at a time. Whenever he is about to attack stop doing anything and concentrate only on his attack and hit the prayer first. even if you get hit once, make sure you pay attention to his next attack before eating. Eating doesn't do any good if you get hit again :P For a more visual bit of information on what I'm talking about look at the second video Polar posted on that previous thread, around 6:00 should be where you want to look to see what is best for when the healers spawn.
  6. That stinks man, but don't worry. If you want to make it cake, just use momentum without abilities for him. once the healers spawn, lure them away and kill them. I wrote advice for someone about this a while ago I think, let me see if I can find the thread... Edit: Found the link it can be accessed http://forum.tip.it/topic/320154-fire-cape-help/page-2 there. For information about Jad there are posts on page 2 that should be really helpful with some guides and such
  7. Yay! I tried this and got 595k magic exp! :) But . . . Should this be happening? Are you getting experience from them though?
  8. Lmao, thanks for the tip! I got like 900k xp total from not having done the event last year due to not being a member! :) As for the helm, I will definitely be okay if they look like that. EDIT: Hmm, maybe I was a member though. Could have sworn i didn't but it's possible that I was mistaken.
  9. Pretty much what Q said, the longest thing in it is probably just waiting on spawns while you destory the monsters. It's ridiculously easy since EOC. Honestly I wouldn't even personally bother with the adrenaline pots unless you really think they are necessary. Just bring some prayer pots(supers if you have them) and then ovls with renewals and you'd be good.

From what i've been told about doing the kiln it's easier than doing caves because Jad's spawns are always the same spot and they have less LP. I am assuming that since I did caves in gano that subjugation would definitely be enough, and that you could probably get away with using just mage but ofc it will be faster to use multiple combat styles.
  11. While I agree that we need something to fill in the existing gaps of the broken combat system, I don't trust the new skill to do that at all. I would much rather push back invention and get Elf City out sooner. Honestly they promised more quests this year, that helps. Then that gives them an entire new area to give lore to and expand quest-wise so as an avid quester, I would LOVE to see that be opened up.
  12. So is Jagex hiring you this week or next week for ideas on what to do with new/existing content? And how much is your starting salary might I add? :P
  13. Exactly. Ascension crossbows(or any t80 ranged items) degrade. Darts do not. The darts don't degrade? Where is that information from? I assumed they did as all the other items from ports do...
  14. I would recommend that you get into the habit of doing herb runs everyday, or even more often than that if you play for extended periods of time. Slaying is a great way to train all the combat stats, as well as to make a bit of money and some charms for summoning. Other than that I would say for you to keep on raising your stats, find one that you really enjoy training and you will be fine.
  15. It's probably best to wait to do them until around 95 as the xp doesn't pay off until then. Keep doing PP or MKF(eww) until you get to around 95, 94 at the very least or otherwise you might get very annoyed by failing so often.
  16. I would probably rank overall charm gathering for triple charms something like this Glacors>WFS/Daggs(unless daggonoths got nerfed?)>Black Demons>Corp>everything else. All in all Glacors are amazing anyway you slice it. Need charms? Check, Magic/defense exp? Check. Need cash? Check. Need bossing experience? Check. Well there you go.
  17. Nicky Whelan, the aussie chick from hall pass. (accent is so hot and looks like cameron diaz a bit... =P~ <3: )
  18. You can always try asking in the tech thread, they normally have people looking around that know quite a bit about gaming computers etc.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I'm going to try a few different setups and go do a few runs here sometime soon so I'll probably edit this and hopefully have some good news about what happened. haha
  20. Glacors are pretty much this, wear your best available mage armor and dw weapons. The lowest really being ganodermic armor and ahrims book with treachery wand. Then use the highest level fire spell so surge, or blood blitz, barrage. Then use a basic rotation to start killing the glacors, about half way through killing them it will spawn glacytes, attack the enduring one, then lure it away from the glacor and barrage all of them making sure to kill the enduring one first, or at the very least don't kill it last. Then you should have enough adren built up now to use asphyxiate on the glacor, kill it with abilities. Next one you should still have adren left over so attack it first with wild magic and then basics until half health, rinse repeat a million times. Things that REALLY help out here are charming imp, ss, uni, ovl/extremes, and then i would say gear to be upgraded last. Honestly they just take a little while to get used to and are quite fun and profitable. They have an incredible charm drop rate at 3 charms per kill and amazingly fast mage xp. Best in game atm if you know what you're doing. Alternatives to the setup I listed would be gano with staff of light, or chaotic staff with best to worst being Virt>treach ahrimDW> Chaotic staff/Armadyl bstaff>Staff of Light. Ideally you want to use dw for the glacytes which helps kill speed immensely. Overall just go out there and try them out and see what you like best. I would bring along a yip if I were you and pray mage/range protect against them. Once you have the glacytes out get the main glacor stuck behind something like a wall or the column in the middle and keep him out of sight. Kill them in this order Enduring>Sapping>Unstable. Then go back to the Glacor. I've covered most of everything, but not all of it. Watch a few gudies on yt and go at 'em.
  21. If you only need nomad, beating the special challenge "nomad no more" should unlock him for you and count as beating him in climber/endurance as beating two means you can certainly beat one.
  22. That's a neat little trick figuring out how to kill things from afar with assault. :p

Sorry, no bandos or drygores, but i do have FSH.
  24. Probably something like that, since weren't dragon limbs added to their droptable not too long ago?

So I have a task of greater demons for my slayer task and I was wondering how well I would fare going to zgwd for it. I've never really soloed any of the GWD bosses hoenstly and would be a complete noob, so what I was wondering was if anyone could give me a good set up/advice on what to do, wear, and bring for it. I have gano, ragefires, t70 dw and sol, access to uni but not yak, and overloads.
